Well written and researched book focused on nutrition and strength training to accomplish a well symmetrical physique. I was a little confused and could not find how one could determine his body fat level. The book made several references to it and it was a goal to accomplish (below 12%) but I could not find anywhere in the writing how to calculate it. I did use the Body Fat Percentage calculation in my workout app based on height, weight, neck circumference, abdomen circumference and age.

I was also concerned adopt the increase risk of injury in using (1 rep short of failure) weight. But I will try the plan with caution. Proof will be in the result’s achieved.

Generally decent information, if a bit basic. +1 star for doing a good job debunking a lot of the nonsense prevalent on social media, especially regarding nutrition and supplements.

-1 star for excluding half the population for no good reason by addressing only men, even though 99%+ of the content is applicable to everyone.

-1 star for discouraging aerobic fitness as part of a healthy fitness lifestyle, and offering incoherent and conflicting advice regarding cardio exercise.
For instance: "As a goal, you should look to get anywhere from 8,000 to 10,000 steps in a day. But this is not necessary, and the exact number of steps doesn’t really matter."

I picked this up because I want to look hot, but I didn't really learn anything new :( In other words, I did not, like the title implies, come across any juicy secrets, which is a shame because I love to gossip :( Additionally, for how much Schlager emphasized maintaining perfect lifting technique, I'm left wondering why he didn't go over what that should look like for at least a couple of compound lifts. Overall, I think I'm better off building an amazing male body out of Legos than I am my own flesh :(

excellent

Nick covers all the basics there would be no excuse for you to say that you can’t lose the weight because he gives you step by step instructions , even the women can follow this plan and you’ll get the same results the only thing that can hold you back it’s your mindset.

Straight forward book with sound advice. No bullshit, just proven methods. Thank you Mr Schlager, hope to see more books from you in the future
