terrific Daddy Romance

Yeah this is a Daddy/little girl Romance and I thought it was terrific. I has a Little who has a group of Littles as her girlfriends and they hang out regularly. I really enjoyed reading about them as part of the story. Hopefully the author will write several sequels.

This is a sweet read following the story of two professors and the development of their relationship as a Daddy and his Little girl.

It’s quite clear from reading this book that it is the first in the series as a lot of time is spent on world building and character creating with some very descriptive writing used to really ensure the reader knows the setting and people involved.

Some times it felt like the word excitedly was used too many times. ‘She bounced excitedly’, ‘I cry excitedly’, ‘I say excitedly’. I understand that Littles are bouncy and energetic and the author is trying to show that with how they act or speak but felt some other words in its place would have helped avoid a repetitive feel.

Criticisms apart, the story was sweet, whilst not overly explicit in either a sexual nature or regarding the dynamic of a DDlg relationship I felt it was written well and portrayed the relationship and community in a sympathetic way that was enjoyable to read.

There was the element of danger and a matter of suspense, some brilliant friendships, a little bit of spanking and the hint of the next book. What more can you ask for?.

A Steamy, Sweet, and Quick Read!!

Professor Daddy is about Violet, a history of photography professor at the local college who's given up on her search for her Daddy, and Etienne, a very well-known nature photographer who has taken up the position of assistant professor of photography to distance himself from the number of littles who only want him for his money and high social standing.

These two first meet at a conference at the college-this happens right before the beginning of the book- and she's smitten with his good looks right away, but chooses to ignore it seeing as they're co-workers who are going to be working in close quarters-they have to run workshops together for the college's parents' weekend- and she wants a Daddy. Not just a Daddy either, she wants the right Daddy for her but is not very hopeful of finding him.

The book starts with Violet going to meet her friends, who are also littles, for cocktails and coloring, a weekly outing the group has to destress on Wednesdays. There we are introduced to some of her friends and a little bit about their lives and careers. I'm assuming her friends will be the FMCs of their books in this series when they come out.
Right in the first chapter, we learn that Violet has a stalker, who talks to her like she's his little and he's her Daddy, she's creeped out but thinks she's just being paranoid, that it must be a wrong number situation. Until, near the end of the chapter, she bumps (literally) into Etienne and he sees how frazzled she is and takes charge of the situation. And from there, their love story begins.

Something else I believe is worth mentioning: he calls her little professor!! How freaking cute is that? *swoon*

This 120-something-page novella was a super fun and somewhat quick read, it's in dual 1st person pov, and as always, we get a HEA.
In this book we get DD/lg, age play, small town, workplace/office romance, wealthy MMC, successful FMC, some action and drama, a stalker (not the MMC), slight angst, plot twists, and an epilogue.

Professor Daddy is the 1st installment in the Cocktails and Coloring series. I'd never read from this author before, but I sure will now. 100% recommend!!

Violet joins her friends Samantha and Fawn who are already seated at their regular table at the bar in a local ski lodge. Their usual waiter Tony is standing by to take their orders for cocktails and appetizers and Fawn already has her head down in concentration as she colors with her crayons.

Every Wednesday after work a group of professional women meet for drinks and cocktails with their coloring books, crayons and colored pencils in hand. Shedding off the mantel of their adult responsibilities. All looking for a Daddy or in some cases a Mommy.

Shortly after moving there five years ago, Violet joined several groups...a book club, cycling club and an adult coloring evening where she met a group of professionals who, like her, were littles in their private life. Of all the women in the group Samantha, a lawyer in the DA's office prosecuting a ring of car thieves, and Fawn, a veterinarian, had become her best friends.

Violet is a History of Photography Professor at the local community college and is excited about her upcoming exhibit at the library about turn-of-the-century cameras. As she heads for the restroom she is distracted by her phone and runs right into a hard chest. It's Etienne Martin, their new Photography Professor. He is a famous nature photographer that the college is excited to have signed on.

But when he says "Watch where you are going, little girl", she looks up with fear on her face. Could he be the one sending her creepy texts like the one she just opened that said "Are you being a good little girl?"

I really enjoyed this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is an age-play romance and for the most part, Violet is a Little although at times she needs the reassurance of a pacifier. I won't even pretend to understand being a Little, but I totally enjoyed this story and Violet's excitement about the littlest of things.

This book is action-packed and will have you turning the pages wondering who her stalker is. I love all of the secondary characters and just know that Fawn is going to give Marcus a run for his money. Great read!

🛑DNF chapitre 10/19

Étienne et Violet

Daddy et girl
Professeurs de photographie

.

Violet and Etienne are both professors at a small Vermont college. Violet spends her Wednesday nights with other professional women for drinks and coloring, a weekly Little get together. Etienne is a new professor in her department, and happens to be at the same place meeting a friend that night. When Violet gets some disturbing texts just before she runs into Etienne, he picks up on her fear, as a good Daddy should. Etienne has been looking for a Little girl, and hopes Violet will be the one since he is drawn to her as he senses her fear, as well as being interested in getting to know her better after some department meetings. As the two grow closer, learning more about each other and if this attraction can go anywhere, there is also the problem of identifying the stalker and making him stop. Two main characters with lots in common, descriptions of life in Vermont, on campus and off, supportive Little friends, another Daddy on the horizon, and lots of tender moments. A fairly short read which held my interest.

PROFESSOR DADDY is the first book in the Cocktails and Colouring series, and we are introduced to a group of friends who like being littles. None of them has a Daddy although none of them would mind! In fact, Daddies are closer than they realise.

I enjoyed this story and found it to be a light read. Nothing delved too deeply, whether it was the connection between our main two, their DD/lg relationship, or indeed, even the stalker. I was left with unanswered questions at the end that I really would have preferred to be answered.

Saying that, I look forward to returning to this series for the next book. Maybe my questions will be answered there. Professor Daddy is a sweet read and I would definitely recommend it, especially for those who are dipping in their toes!

Absolutely brilliant!

Well... I have to say I read this book in about 2 and a half hours flat. I just couldn't get enough of it. It contains age play, which I personally love when written about properly, which Rene Webb does.

In Professor Daddy, we meet Professor Violet Davis, an academic professor working in a small town university setting. In her professional life, she's a headstrong woman who is in control. In her personal life, she's a little and in need of a Daddy.

Her Daddy just happens to be in the form of Professor Etienne Martin, her colleague from work. However, she's also caught the eye of a stalker and she really needs help to stay safe.

Professor Daddy is a brilliant read. It's written in a way that is easy to read, with characters that are easy to like. This is the first of Rene Webb's books that I have read and I'm now going to go through her back catalog to read all of her other books

Etienne and Violet are professors in the Photography Department of the local college. Both are attracted to each other but, because of their desire to find partners that will give reign to their Daddy and little sides, do not act on that attraction. Wednesday night is coloring book and cocktails for Violet and her friends. Etienne is there, catching up with an old high school friend, and discovers Violet's little side. That same night Violet discovers Etienne is a Daddy. Violet, however, has a stalker. Can Etienne help keep her safe? Will the two pursue a relationship?

I enjoyed this story. I liked Etienne and Violet. They are cute. I liked that they took it slow to find out if they could work together. Etienne is gun-shy because of his past. Violet is able to calm him when he questions her. I loved the ingenious way that Violet and her friends take to find the stalker. I had a good time reading this book.

I look forward to the rest of the series.

- an age play novella! workplace romance, romantic suspense, instalove, photographers
- this is VERY instalove and i’m not mad lmao
- something don’t seem right about Tony…
- i love how Etienne never even asked her out, they were just together by page 7😂
- this is so frickin cute 😭😭
- their first date was so sweet (and very on theme)
- i don’t like that he accused her of not being a real little the first time she broke a rule… like hello they break rules all the time
- also don’t like that he just said ‘say stop Etienne’ instead of a safe word
- good short and sweet sex scene!
- i like that they went to club but feel like that was cut VERY short
- okay the stalker has been brought back
- a fan of the sex scene in the office
- and we all know who the stalker is because of that massive hint lol
- eh the ending wasn’t great, but anticlimactic
- this was sweet and fun but not that good lol

Professor Daddy by Rene Webb is a page turner. Violet and Etiene are the perfect couple.
Violet belongs to a Little club called Cocktails and Coloring books. The girls meet once a week at the same restaurant to talk about their week and catch up on their coloring. None of them have a Daddy yet but they all hope they will meet their perfect one one day.
Violet's day comes sooner than she expects. She is a photography at the local university and when she meets a new professor, Etiene, Violet just knows he's the one. As their relationship blossoms a problem, in the form of a stalker who is obsessed with Violet, threatens to end the magic before it can start.
I highly recommend Professor Daddy for those who love sweet and sassy Little girls and the Daddies who where made for them.

Professor Daddy is the 1st novella in the Cocktails and Coloring series, introducing us to a group of women, very accomplished in their chosen jobs, but little at heart and looking for a daddy of their own. First to get their chance at a HEA is Violet, a college professor, when Etienne returns to his small hometown to teach. What ensues is a cute romance with a daddy/little dynamic, a bit of suspense and a sweet HEA.

I couldn't put it down, just needed to know what happens next! Violet and Etienne's story is filled with suspense, twists, laughter, friendship and more. Both Violet and Etienne have been looking for their perfect 'Daddy/Little', could they be the perfect match for eachother?... While trying to navigate their DDLG relationship along with working together, Violet finds herself with a stalker! Can Etienne keep her safe and help find out who it is?...

In this book both lead characters are professors of photography at a collage and have the same interest in daddy/little girl play. The storyline was ok, she is being stalked by someone and they have to figure out how to keep their relationship professional and private. My problem with the book is that the chapters just end, not on a cliffhanger or anything just end. Even halfway through a conversation or an event it just ends and the next chapter is a week later or something. What happened? The story lines don’t play out fully and the drama over a stalker doesn’t build.

This was so unexpected from what I was thinking from the cover but it’s a great endearing read. Professor Violet David is in need of a protector. And she gets it in the form of her Professor Daddy. Being a little with a stalker , she’s saved at the right time as she introduces the other littles in her group to the ultimate Daddy . Good read characters are solid

This novella really helped me get out of a reading slump so bonus points for that, but overall the story was super cute. I LOVE the setting. Erie me and Violets dynamic was fun and heartwarming. The added stalker plot helped elevate the story. And I love the plugs for future stories with side characters. Nothing groundbreaking here but a really good time.

I had fun reading this novella. I finished it in one sitting. This was the first novella I've read by Rene Webb, and I wasn't disappointed. It has a nice storyline and the characters are sweethearts. Violet and Etienne's connection is amazing and readers can see it throughout the story. Their dynamic is sexy and good for their relationship.

This was a new one for me with the Daddy/little concept and I liked it. Etienne is a new professor at the college Violet teaches. She is a little and looking to be taken care of, it was an interesting concept to me with her having a stressful adult life. I enjoyed the story with a little bit of suspense and look forward to more like this one.

3.5 ⭐️

This was a cute little romance between two Professors once they realized they're both into the daddy/little scene. There's some background stalking drama, but it ended up being a little anticlimactic.

I usually don't like little play but it was written decently well here! Overall, cute quick read!

Tropes:
- Workplace Colleagues
- Daddy/Little Dynamic
- Small Town Romance
- Age Play & Spankings

A cute, fun and easily enjoyable read. Etienne and Violet's story was an intriguing combination of emotion, heat, sweetness, humor, kink and a little bit of drama and suspense. The sparks were easy to feel and the characters likable. I'll definitely be checking out future entries of this series. This is my impartial, elective review.
