I just love this series, there's always some new twist to the magical world in Singing Falls. This time, it's a coven of hedge witches that is at the heart of a murder investigation, but the culprit is a surprise, and one that leads to a nice little cliffhanger of things to come. I love Torie's magical journey. In each story, she discovers a new layer of her magical abilities, but I love how she keeps her main energy, like her empathy of wanting to help those that might or might not deserve it. Also, Leo, omg I love that dragon, what an adorable little addition to the mix!

This book caused me insomnia!
Book 8 was a real breath holder. my heart tightened when Fionna was poisoned and everyone worked together to find a cure while fighting the enemy. And I have to say I knew what was coming up with Torie and wanted to just shake her. And, that little dragon is a keeper But, what happened with Elric once Torie was back in her body. He just seemed to have disappeared. I am truly and anxiously waiting for Book 9. Thanks for another great read.

Love this series. This is a new interesting twist that I look forward to seeing what Torie and Jasmine find and how they will save themselves and their friends from what's coming!
