All In With Him is book three in the Men of Summer series by Lauren Blakely. This is the continuation of Grant and Declan’s journey together. You need to read this series in order. I don’t know how Lauren Blakely seems to know just what I need when I need it. Because I needed this book! I was already in love with Grant and Declan. But she still found ways to make me swoon, to make me love them even more.

Grant and Declan are back together and they are in love. Declan moved in with Grant when he returned to San Francisco but now comes the hard part, learning the things that makes each other happy, or not happy. Declan is the private one, the quiet one, where Grant likes to live his life bigger, louder. He likes to dance, be around people, all things that Declan struggles with. These two are determined to do whatever it takes to make the other happy. Do they struggle along the way, yes! They both suffer a bit from the fear of losing the other. Of not being enough for him. But they also learn. They learn to communicate, they learn to listen. They learn to compromise. But most of all, they just love.
“He is my calm.”
Even though they live in the same city, they play on different teams. And a professional baseball player’s life is spent largely on the road during baseball season. So while Grant and Declan are learning how to be a couple, they are having to do a lot of it long distance. That means not being able to be there at times when the other needs him. But they make it work. And they always come home to each other.
“Though we can bend, though we can buckle, we can’t break.”
Maybe it’s just my current state of mind, maybe it’s just because I already loved these two so much, but this might be my favorite book of the series. My heart was in a constant state of swoon all the way through. Neither of these men had ever been in love with anyone else. Learning how to navigate their feelings is something they are doing together. And I loved that they did just that, did it together. Up until now, I had a favorite MM couple, Conner and Rocky from the In Midsummer series by Jessica Frances. But I’m afraid they are going to have to scoot over now and share that podium with Grant and Declan. Like Conner and Rocky, I’m not going to forget Grant and Declan. And wow, the epilogues! Yes, that’s with an “s!” We get a beautiful look into the future of what their lives look like and it was amazing. As I said at the top, you have to read this series in order. And I hope that you do, so you can fall in love, just as I did.
“I want all the somedays with him.”

i'm just lauren blakely trash at this point. her take on the mm romances may not be the greatest but i loved all her books. they are both steamy and heartwarming. after what these two mcs went through from the first two books and seeing them now here with their domestic setup was a blast. do i find this third book necessary? not really but i still ate that shit up. excited more from this author!

3.5 Stars!
I stand by the fact that this series did not need to be 3 books.
After being absolutely appalled by the ending of book 1 it took me a good while to even come to terms with finishing the series.
And I can be woman enough to admit that in the end, as a whole, taking all 3 books in to consideration, I liked this series.
Mainly I just liked Declan and Grant. I liked them as individuals and as a couple.
This book was more of a glorified epilogue and further supports that 3 books weren't needed.
But even my cold black heart swooned a bit over these two.
I stand by the fact that this series did not need to be 3 books.

Five stars for the epic conclusion of Lauren Blakely's Men of Summer series!! A story that spans decades with heartbreak and life's challenges Declan & Grant finally got their true HEA!!
Quick note, you do need to read book one Scoring With Him followed by book two Winning With Him before you get into the final book All In With Him. These three books span a course of five years and longer in the third book. If you don't read those two first, you will be lost.
For Declan and Grant getting to their happily ever after was not easy but now that they have started their loves together, they are starting to realize that finding love isn't as hard as keeping it.
Making a relationship work is hard but with constant communication and consideration for one another they are making things really work. When Grant poses the question about children Declan is taken aback. Children was not something he has ever thought of, and he wants to give Grant everything he could ever want but how can he be a good parent when his own dad messed up his life so terribly?
Grant is in love and life is great but as their relationship starts to slip past the "honeymoon phase" he realizes that this is when real life starts to settle in. Real world decisions have to be made about what they both want out of their future and Grant wants everything with Declan he just isn't sure if Declan wants the same.
Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan were just perfection!! I fell for both of them with WESMIE, but they have won my heart all over again with Declan and Grant. One of my favorite things about Jacob Morgan is we really get to hear his emotion in the intense scenes. Hearing a narrator choking up over a scene raw or because they are a fantastic actor just adds so much more depth to the story. Then Teddy, his voice is just everything good in this world!
It is rare in a novel and even a series where we as readers get a long look at the future of our favorite characters. Lauren Blakely gave us a whole epilogue in this book, but it wasn't without its problems and for me that was so beautiful. Declan and Grant had already made it past the big fights and the staying angry part of their relationship this is where we get to see them communicate and work out their problems. Honestly, for that alone this book is unlike anything I have ever read. These two guys reside in my heart now, especially after the tears I shed for them.
The audio version I pre-ordered had a brief interview between Teddy & Jacob which gives you their outlook on Declan and Jacob's story, but you also get to hear them as they are which was fun.

It’s a feel-good, swoony, sexy, touching read. It's the series I didn't know I HAD to read.
All In With Him is the third and last book in the Men of Summer series by Lauren Blakely which has followed MLB catcher Grant Blackwood and shortstop Declan Steele since before they met. Just as she predicted, Lauren Blakely delivered an epic love story I adored from start to finish!
I savored the prequel novella and first two books, and they would have been wonderful had Lauren decided to end it there. But then she added ALL IN WITH HIM, which picks up after Declan and Grant get reunite.
They’ve moved in together and have realized that falling in the easy part. Now they have to figure out how to keep it, especially when Declan tends to be quiet and private while Grant is loud and outgoing. But the one thing they know for sure, is that they’ll do anything to make the other happy because they were so deeply in love.
Even though they struggle, suffer and need to face their fears the angst is low while the feels are spot on. They learn to listen to each other and voice their concerns, they discover that they can trust each other further.
It was also sizzling HOT, I mean burn your eReader up sexy, and swoony with all its epilogues. And let’s not forget about those great secondary characters, some from previous books, some I hope will get their own book in the future.

AWWW loved this so much!
Now tbh...Do I think that this series needed 3 books? NOP! This whole series could have been done in one MAAAAYBE 2 books. 3 books was a bit overkill.
Having said that... Did I care? ALSO NOP! I truly enjoyed this series. It was:
- romantic
- sexy
- sweet
- easy to read
It had:
- Great characters, especially Declan.
- Sweet plot
- Lovable side characters
- Real and a bit of unreal situations
- Possessive MCs who never needed anyone else.
Also: The epilogues were AWESOME.
So this was a WIN!
P.S. The audiobooks are gave me many many #Eargasms. Teddy and Jacob are geniuses.

Absolute Perfection! ♾️⭐️
I will say this million times and never get tired but Grant & Declan are EVERYTHING!
Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton continue to bring these characters and their story to life in an amazing way as usual👌
So, this is the final book in the trilogy. Grant and Declan are living together, navigating their relationship. And let me tell you what a beautiful relationship it is. Their love is still fierce and powerful. Their chemistry is still off the charts. Their connection is even stronger. There are struggles along the way, but they are facing them together by learning more about each other, listening and communicating with each other, and simply just loving each other.
They never fail to make you swoon, blush, cry, smile... Their spice is still spicy and intimate, an extension of their love. They are still EVERYTHING🩶
I cannot explain how much Grant and Declan mean to each other. Their souls are intertwined. The scenes starting from Declan, while away, seeing the video of Grant being injured during a game until he goes to Grant is enough proof of how much these two are consumed by each other. The scene when Declan's mom picks up Grant from the doctor and Grant telling her that he really just want to see her son😭 And when Declan comes home, they just want to hold each other😩
“Yes, and this is all so new to me—wanting someone this much, needing someone this much. But I don’t want to scare you away.”
“You couldn’t, Grant,” he says, gripping me tighter, holding me closer. “Because it’s the same for me. As I was flying home, I was scared and amazed all at once—scared that you were hurt and amazed that one person can make me feel everything. I want you so much, and I need you so much. And I just love you so fucking much.”
I love how they navigated the topic of kids with Grant wanting kids and Declan afraid cus of his past. I love how Grant is patient with Declan and not pushy, how Declan thinks it through and talks to his mom about it.
“I’m all in with you, Declan. No matter what. I love you more than anything. If you decide you don’t want kids, I am fine with that. I want a family, but I need you to be happy. There is no deal-breaker for me. Not a one.”
“And I’m all in with you too, Grant Blackwood. And my answer to kids is yes. Someday, down the road, I want to have kids with you. I want to have a family with you. I want it all with you. You’re my person; you’re my home. You are my happily ever after.”
Their spice in this book is another level hot🥵 These two really get into recording their hotness🤭 The scene where Declan makes Grant watch a video on the laptop from the night before. Like holy hell these two are fire🔥💥🥵
“Turn it on. I want to watch you fucking me when I start to fuck you”
Let's not forget their dual proposal. Like can they be more of soulmates🥹 Also, the celebration that comes after the proposal is one hell of a celebration🤭🥵🔥
“Meeting you is the best thing that ever happened to me. Falling in love with you the second time around made me feel like the luckiest guy ever. But it’s not luck at all. It’s love and trust and faith. Loving you is the greatest thing I have ever done, and I’m going to do it for the rest of my life. Will you marry me?”😩
The final epilogue is so sweet and takes place more than twenty years since Grant and Declan met. They are husbands. They are fathers. They are still utterly and completely in love🩶
“He’s mine, and I’m his, and that’s just the way our love story was always going to be.”

Review for all 3 books in the Men of Summer series
(#1 Scoring With Him, #2 Winning With Him, #3 All In With Him)
I absolutely loved this series.
I still don’t fully understand baseball (turns out it’s not exactly the easiest sport to follow while reading 😅), but honestly? That didn’t matter. The story, the characters, and especially the chemistry carried everything.
Grant and Declan are so different, yet they fit together ridiculously well. Their connection is fast, intense, and very physical from the start—like, they basically spend a handful of nights together and suddenly it’s “no one else will ever compare.” Unrealistic? Maybe. Did I still eat it up? Absolutely.
This series is sweet, angsty-ish, and HOT AF. And yes—let’s be real—about 75% of their conversations somehow lead to sex or a sex innuendo 😛 I didn’t mind it overall, but at times it did start to feel a bit like filler rather than development. That said, people, these guys are one of the hottest couples I’ve read. Every time is mega intense and delicious—they try everything, they fuck, and they make love with the same fervour, desire, and intensity as the first time. Like they say so perfectly:
And just a side note, these guys are obsessed with flip fucking, so there’s that—they are vers AF!!!!!
The five-year separation? That one pushed my suspension of disbelief a bit. It felt exaggerated, especially considering how strong their connection was. BUT I did appreciate that they weren’t completely cut off during that time and that Declan actually addressed his shitty behaviour after the breakup. That mattered. The implied “neither of them was with anyone else” during those five years? Yeah, I’m side-eyeing that a little. Not clearly stated, but definitely hinted—and not entirely convincing. But let’s believe in fairytales and enjoy that <3
The side characters really elevated this for me. Grant’s grandparents, Reese, River and his teammates, Declan’s mom… they all added so much warmth and depth.
Going into the third book, I was worried it would just be fluff and unnecessary drama, but it actually ended up being important. We get to see their relationship beyond the “falling in love” phase—real-life issues, doubts, communication struggles, and plans for the future. Neither of them has ever had a boyfriend before, and that shows in a very believable way. It wasn’t just hearts and flowers—it was messy, sometimes frustrating, but real. But don’t worry, because it’s also super lame, super sweet, super extra, super happy, super HEA material! We get it all because they are all in 😍😍😍😍😍
Is it perfect? No. It’s a bit longer than it needed to be, and some beats felt familiar—like things I’ve already seen in Heated Rivalry, Halo, or The Elite series by Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine. Maybe if I had read this when I first started reading MM contemporary romance, it would have felt more striking, because at that time I was so eager to read something different from my paranormal/fantasy romances.
But did I fly through it? Yes.
Did I have a great time? Also yes.

This is a solid 4.5-star series for me. Book 3 I’m rating 5 because it was sooooo cozy, sexy, cheesy, sappy, swoonworthy, and perfect.

I absolutely loved this series.
I still don’t fully understand baseball (turns out it’s not exactly the easiest sport to follow while reading 😅), but honestly? That didn’t matter. The story, the characters, and especially the chemistry carried everything.
Grant and Declan are so different, yet they fit together ridiculously well. Their connection is fast, intense, and very physical from the start—like, they basically spend a handful of nights together and suddenly it’s “no one else will ever compare.” Unrealistic? Maybe. Did I still eat it up? Absolutely.
This series is sweet, angsty-ish, and HOT AF. And yes—let’s be real—about 75% of their conversations somehow lead to sex or a sex innuendo 😛 I didn’t mind it overall, but at times it did start to feel a bit like filler rather than development. That said, people, these guys are one of the hottest couples I’ve read. Every time is mega intense and delicious—they try everything, they fuck, and they make love with the same fervour, desire, and intensity as the first time. Like they say so perfectly:
“Sex isn’t everything in a relationship, but I swear the way we touch brings us closer every time. We fuck without walls. We smash into each other with our guards down, our hearts open, our bodies eager. Our sex is fearless and unafraid, a symbol for how we want our lives to be.” [...]
“Because it’s sex, but it’s also love and trust and hope. And it’s how we show each other just how far and deep we can go.”
And just a side note, these guys are obsessed with flip fucking, so there’s that—they are vers AF!!!!!
The five-year separation? That one pushed my suspension of disbelief a bit. It felt exaggerated, especially considering how strong their connection was. BUT I did appreciate that they weren’t completely cut off during that time and that Declan actually addressed his shitty behaviour after the breakup. That mattered. The implied “neither of them was with anyone else” during those five years? Yeah, I’m side-eyeing that a little. Not clearly stated, but definitely hinted—and not entirely convincing. But let’s believe in fairytales and enjoy that <3
“I was open to Declan Steele from the day I met him, but the timing was all wrong. We weren’t ready for real love then. But five years later, when we found our way back to each other, I was so ready for him. For big love, for forever love. Maybe everything has fallen into place because I’m open to everything, as long as it’s with him.”
The side characters really elevated this for me. Grant’s grandparents, Reese, River and his teammates, Declan’s mom… they all added so much warmth and depth.
Going into the third book, I was worried it would just be fluff and unnecessary drama, but it actually ended up being important. We get to see their relationship beyond the “falling in love” phase—real-life issues, doubts, communication struggles, and plans for the future. Neither of them has ever had a boyfriend before, and that shows in a very believable way. It wasn’t just hearts and flowers—it was messy, sometimes frustrating, but real. But don’t worry, because it’s also super lame, super sweet, super extra, super happy, super HEA material! We get it all because they are all in 😍😍😍😍😍
Is it perfect? No. It’s a bit longer than it needed to be, and some beats felt familiar—like things I’ve already seen in Heated Rivalry, Halo, or The Elite series by Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine. Maybe if I had read this when I first started reading MM contemporary romance, it would have felt more striking, because at that time I was so eager to read something different from my paranormal/fantasy romances.
But did I fly through it? Yes.
Did I have a great time? Also yes.

I really enjoyed getting to know Grant and Declan and their journey to HEA . A beautiful love story !

I wanted to give this book at least 4 stars BUT towards the end it seemed impossible for me to do that, I even had to skip some pages too which is not a good sign either (mostly boring sex scenes that were too repetitive for me). I was utterly disappointed AGAIN with the writer when I saw that same favoritism I saw in the previous book 'Winning with Him' towards Grant, leaving Declan almost in the dust, writers can have favourites, of course, but while writing they should be more "careful" because at the end of the day readers love one character, the other or both, and will obviously not like this kind of thing showed in a book ( at least I don't like it).
The plot turns interesting towards 40-50% of the book with all the drama with the pitching signals scandal, then with all the kids drama and the marriage too.
But I guess this book was unnecessary really, nothing too important happens, apart from that they decide to get married and have kids, the typical thing.
And in the Epiloge Grant wins THREE!! more WORLD SERIES while Declan only wins one in the end (do you see the injustice here 🥸).
If you want to read this book have a go at it, I will for sure not reread this book again but still I wish you all a happy reading!! 💗💗❤❤🌈

If you are a fan of epilogues and cringe when a book ends abruptly, then you will love All In With Him by Lauren Blakely, because it’s over 300 pages of all the good stuff! Grant and Declan continue their love story in the third and final book of the Men of Summer series, but this time, they are living together, both playing baseball professionally on opposing teams in the same city, and navigating all the joys and tribulations of making their committed relationship work. And I would guess about 25% of this book is filled with detailed sexy times so there is no shortage of STEAM!
I just loved how Blakely wrote their characters so beautifully and relatable. Not necessarily the part of them being professional athletes, but how they struggled with being the child of an addict, being abandoned, and coming out to the world in a profession that is revered around the world. Feeling an all-consuming desire to be with one person, and doing whatever it takes to be someone’s everything, including having deep personal discussions, and making your partner’s needs a priority. Learning to compromise and make sacrifices and cherishing the time spent together, knowing that family is the most important gift of all.
Loved their giving back to their community and being role models. I loved their growth and steadfast commitment with each other, and how Blakely moved us through their relationship over a 20-year period through all three books. I loved their spirit and competitive nature and all the baseball talk which didn’t overtake their story. All In With Him is one giant swoonfest, heart-melter, and panty-melter and I couldn’t get enough.

I've loved this whole series and I'm so happy they finally got their HEA.
I absolutely LOVED Grant. I would definitely have rated higher though if there was a bit more emotional angst. There's always a hurdle for their relationship in every book but it never quite connected enough with me, even though I really enjoyed the plot throughout the series.
I'm also so grateful for all the Banana Ball games I watched this year so I finally understand how baseball works 😂

Completed, O.M.G!! This was soo perfect! I loved seeing how Dec & Grant maneuver their relationship, solve problems with heartfelt talks & live their HEAs...& At last, are HUSBANDS!! *Squeal*

This quote happens at the beginning of the book and it just cracked me up.
“I am a Sex Camel on Desert Rations”
I love these characters the fact that we are lucky enough to get three books with them I call that extra special.
We get to see the ups and downs of a relationship we get to root for them we get to celebrate their wins and we feel for their loses.
I think when you think about romance usually we get a happily for now and we are always good with that. What I loved is we get the happily ever after. We get the real and raw parts of what a relationship looks like when you’re two very different people trying to make it work. I liked that we get to see them work through things. It isn’t always easy but as we see taking it out and wanting to make it work is half the battle.
I am sad that the book is over and but so happy we got Declan and Grant for as long as we got them. I think these two might just be my favorite couple Lauren has ever given us.
The narration, WOW, I said it before and I will say it again Teddy is fantastic and I always want what he narrates. Jacob and Teddy together is perfection in my ears, they just work so well together. I loved it.

I tried, but I just wasn't a fan of this series.
This book felt like Exhibit A for why authors don't write what comes after the HEA. I was alternately bored stiff, and heavily sighing because the drama (what little there was of it between the two characters going at each other like rabbits) felt manufactured to try to give the book purpose rather than something that might actually happen to two people living in this situation.
And THREE epilogues? I can't even dignify that with a pithy comment.

I don’t think it’s a secret that I absolutely loved this couple and the trio of books that make up their complete love story. Grant and Declan may well be my favourite couple from LB, and that’s a big call because she has so many that I adore. It’s their passion, intensity, compassion, loyalty and commitment to make their relationship work that has me hooked.
This third instalment picks up from book two, and gives us more on what their life is like after their reconciliation. And I cherished getting more about them so much. The pain they went through, to get to this point, was worth it for the stronger bond they now have and the things they learnt along the way. Like, life is full of dilemmas and hard choices, but having the right man standing beside you and encouraging you with every step, and lifting you when you need it – that’s what we all want in a relationship, right? I know I do! Yet, sometimes we all have doubts, not on our other half, but on ourselves, and if we are good enough to be with such an amazing man. But every relationship takes work and time and patience, to listen to each other and learn from previous mistakes and to let down boundaries so you can love fully and have trust and faith in each other. That’s what these two guys do and have, and its sensational. This is one love story that I know will give me the biggest book hangover for some time.

Fabulous swoony ending to this sports romance
I loved how much communication there is between Declan and Grant.
There's no stupid misunderstanding, no dumb plot points arising just to bring angst or drama.
Instead for the final book in this excellent baseball romance, we get two grown-up men doing their best to make things work through their doubts and fears.
I've thoroughly enjoyed each one of the books in the Men of Summer series and, while they probably could have been condensed into one chunky narrative, I'm also glad that we got time to spend with them as they worked out their relationship together.
It's also exceedingly hot as both men know exactly what revs the engine of their lover and neither is shy about asking for it.
With a strong sense of place, great supporting characters and a couple of expanded Epilogues which take us well into the future, this has been a blast.

5++ stars!
I have such a soft spot for Grant and Declan. I loved Scoring With Him and Winning With Him so much, so I was thrilled when the author wanted to give us more of the good stuff.
Grant is happy to be back with Deck and is eager to show him off and be seen with him. He wants to go out and do fun things. And he wants Deck to be there for it all.
Declan is still a bit more shy about being in the public eye, especially where he feels more exposed. He has been working through issues from his past, but sometimes they sneak back and bother him. He is happy being a homebody and keeping things more private. He has restarted his life again in San Francisco to be with Grant. But they are both still coming to terms with their pasts while living in the now and trying to see what their future might look like. And they both still have some intermittent, but realistic anxiety and worries. And sometimes life throws you curveballs. And they are now in the public eye so are always aware of media speculation.
It is not full of unnecessary angst, but is nicely layered with real-life situations and a few concerns weaved in, but they are finding ways to work through them together.
This brings the fun, flirt, friends, banter, and beginning to build their lives together. But they do still have differences, vulnerabilities, and fears. They are still learning to communicate more effectively and to not get in their heads so much. Any new couple has some challenges, but this is them working them out, developing more intimacy, and getting more comfortable in themselves and with each other. This is real life and long-term love that sometimes requires adjustments along the way. Their chemistry and passion just seem to grow and become more intense, intimate, and emotional. And sometimes one needs support and the other has to try to be there for them. I loved getting to see more of this stage of their lives and seeing them work on their happily-ever-after.
This one had everything in it that I needed for these two guys I have come to love. They have come so far through this series. They are seriously my fave LB couple now and I have loved spending time with them. This brings all the smiles, feels, steam, and swoon.
I enjoy seeing these guys with their posse of friends. Being back in San Francisco gives them more opportunities to hang out. This just perfectly tops off this amazing series and just made my heart so happy. I would like to see more of River and his friend, Owen. I really like them too.

I’m in a right pile of mush finishing this book 🥺 Grant and Declan completely stole my heart in this, book 3 in the Men of Summer series. Lauren surprised us with the announcement of book 3 and it’s definitely the book you didn’t expect you needed. It was definitely needed.
Full of love and plentiful swoonful moments, I absolutely adore these two.

While Grant and Declan are being very much and love, they realise that just being happy and having amazing sex is not all what it takes to make a relationship.
For both of them, having baseball careers in the major league, their busy schedules make it difficult for them to be at home at the same time. So, when they are making it matter is a top priority.
But “Sometimes, I just want to be alone with you. I don’t always want our relationship to be a cause. I just want it to be just . . . ours.”
Book three in the Men of Summer Series is one of romance, it is emotional and sizzling sexy.
After Grand and Declan got their HFN in Winning With Him, I did not expect how amazing this would be. It was a fantastic evolution of their love story. I loved reading how their lives together evolve, they were just so much fun, playful even somewhat competitive. And the sex, oh my, the sex of these deeply in love men was off the charts hot!!

Almost Too Much Heat
This conclusion to the baseball romance of Grant and Declan is both lovingly handled and overdone. You have to have read the previous books in the series to understand that author Lauren Blakely is not an expert on MM relationships--most of her books are MF is appears. And because of that she has overdone the sex at almost every turn in an almost cliche way for those who are not gay.
Otherwise it's a viable conclusion to a series in which the names of the Major League Baseball teams are changed, the circumstances of how all-star catcher Grant from one league and all-star shortstop Declan from the other league, both of whom play for teams in the Bay Area, maintain their relationship. It even offers a projection deep into the their future which is nice and sweet.
Please don't get me wrong here: Blakely does a very good job with the intimate parts but there is just a bit too much torridly intimate innuendo along the way that seems like filler at times.

You have to have read the previous books in the series to understand that author Lauren Blakely is not an expert on MM relationships--most of her books are MF is appears. And because of that she has overdone the sex at almost every turn in an almost cliche way for those who are not gay.
Otherwise it's a viable conclusion to a series in which the names of the Major League Baseball teams are changed, the circumstances of how all-star catcher Grant from one league and all-star shortstop Declan from the other league, both of whom play for teams in the Bay Area, maintain their relationship. It even offers a projection deep into the their future which is nice and sweet.
Please don't get me wrong here: Blakely does a very good job with the intimate parts but there is just a bit too much torridly intimate innuendo along the way that seems like filler at times.

LOVE! What a great ending to Grant and Declan's story.
In this last installment of the Men of Summer series, Grant and Declan are faced with some new challenges in their relationship. This was a lot shorter than our first two books, but these guys have come such a long way. Without giving any spoilers, I thought things wrapped up nicely and I really enjoyed how they dealt with improving their relationship.
I'm very sad their story is over, but I had the best time. I highly recommend this series if you haven't read it yet. The audio is fantastic too!

Declan and Grant’s story is at a close and I’m at treated to a series of informational dumps in the multiple part epilogue. Which I thank the author for because I enjoy an info dump about the future of my book lovers. However, I feel like this book was a little bit irrelevant? I don’t know if that’s what I actually mean, but I feel like book 2 and 3 could have been one, if some meat was cut off them. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy a relationship building book especially when I see the boys grow and try to figure out what it’s like to be in a forever relationship, but I still think if the two books were combined it wouldn’t of felt so meh. Idk I really liked it but it didn’t blow my mind. Like the whole series didn’t blow my mind 4 stars all around but I just feel like if book 1 had more depth and book 2 and 3 were combined with more emotional moments it could of been 5 stars. The book has all the makings of it but just falls short. Either way I really love Declan and Grant, and I love seeing them travel the road of long term relationships together and then paving a way to their HEA. Plus they always know how to fuck. Good for them. 😘🥵

5 STARS!
As a romance reader, there’s a few things I expect when reading a romance novel. First, I expect a love story. Insta-love, hard-fought, sweet and swoony or a good old second-chance romance, it doesn’t matter to me as long as I get swept up in the couple’s love. Second, I expect heat—I need to not only feel their chemistry but I want to see it play out. For me personally, that means I don’t read closed-door, fade-to-black or “clean” romances. Finally, I expect a happily ever after, or at the bare minimum, a happy for now. After spending a few hours connecting with the characters and becoming invested in their stories, I absolutely need—no require—this closure, this ending on a high note, in order for me to move on from their story to the next one I pick up. It’s a non-negotiable, a hard limit, my personal, literary line in the sand.
A happy for now can absolutely be a satisfying end to a story, especially in one like Declan and Grant’s which spanned five years. Just knowing that they made it back to each could have been enough. But sometimes it doesn’t shake out that way. Sometimes a happy for now winds up feeling more like it’s just the beginning of a couple’s story regardless of the long and bumpy road they traveled to get to that point. This unfinished, just-getting-started feeling is what compelled Blakely to add All In With Him, the surprise third book to her Men of Summer Series. While Declan and Grant’s story was technically complete at the end of Winning With Him, it was, in a way, just their starting point. While I was definitely happy that they were riding off into the sunset together, but like Blakely, I too felt as if there was more—something even more significant—to their romance, so I was beyond thrilled that she decided to continue their story.
Declan and Grant had a lot to overcome just to be together in the first place, but their real challenges began after they got together. It’s one thing for a couple to come together, but it’s another thing for them to actually stay together. That’s the hard part, that’s the test—that’s the story. So still flushed with all that heat blazing between them, Blakely gave her readers a real, raw and unvarnished deep dive into those early days, weeks and months of this couple’s relationship as they opened up to each other about their wants and dreams, faced their differences and hashed them out. Every couple goes through this, it’s part of the process of committing oneself to another and merging your lives, and this peek into Declan and Grant’s process secured them as one of my top favorite Blakely couples.
Romantic, sexy and emotional, All In With Him was a wonderful expansion of Declan and Grant’s love story. This couple was playful and fun, a little bit competitive, blisteringly sexy and deeply in love. I was invested in their story the moment I met them. A full-spectrum, consuming love story, the Men of Summer series was my most anticipated read of the summer. It surpassed every expectation that I had, and it is not only a new top favorite romance from Blakely, it’s also a top favorite for the year. Overall Series Rating: 3.7
The prequel and book 1 of the series definitely hook you in to this second chance romance story and were enjoyable reads. However, book 2 of this series was my least favorite. The seperation between Declan and Grant went on for too many years, which I found unnecessary.
This third book was also unnecessary like other reviews for this book have said. It felt like a very long epilogue. The story could have been really wrapped up as a duet in two books. The author really dragged the story with 3 books.
This final book didn't really have a plot. It was just Declan and Grant finally living together and having a relationship that should have happened somewhere in book 2. There was some baseball drama that I didn't really care for.
Having said that, I did enjoy the cheesy romance between Declan and Grant. They are loveable characters, especially Declan even though at times it felt like the author favored Grant. Declan is definitely a beloved character. The couple definitely deserved that ending after being separated for so many years 😬
This series also introduces us to Owen and River who are the main characters in the Bromance Zone story which is a standalone. We also get introduced to Asher who is a MC in the upcoming book Lauren is co writing with Sarina Bowen. Will definitely keep an eye out for that story.

The Men of Summer series has been one of my favorites this year. I couldn't get enough of Grant and Declan and their romance. I was thrilled when it was revealed we were going to get a third book for them!
We pick up with the two baseball players right where we left off in book two. They are now back together and are working to build a life together. They are definitely stronger together for all that they went through while they were apart. We are treated to a glimpse of the things they are dealing with both personally and professionally and how their upbringing and past relationships, especially for Declan, play into the future that they want and are going to have.
All relationships are work and it was so wonderful to see how much these two love each other and how they want to do right by the other. They have their struggles, but they are bound and determined to live the best life they can together. They listen, they discuss and they love hard.
I'm so glad we got this third installment for such a terrific couple. Another fantastic job by Lauren Blakely!

Soooo Ima be honest here. I'm not in the mood at all for angsty stories right now but I really wanted to read this whole series. After reading almost every comment on all the books I decided I'm going to skim the first 2 books and just read this one in its entirety. So that's what happened and I'm really glad of it too! What was the point of all this? I'm so glad I skimmed man otherwise I would have been bitching and yelling at the mcs the whole time.
So, as for this book. I loved it. It was a little mushy, a little serious and had all the feels! I'm doubly happy with the multiple epilogues :)
