Well what can I say about this! This is far and away the worst Epic Collection I have had the misfortune to read. It has a good start and the MCP 3 parter at the end is ok but everything in the middle, bulk of the collection is absolute trash. The stories are atrocious, though part of this is caused by the terrible crossover they are part of, and the art is awful, something I dont quite get as James Fry is a good artist so it must have either been him, or editorial, telling him to become more Image like. I enjoyed the Epic containing the start of the Marc Spector series but this has me reconsidering whether i will get any more Moon Knight Epics!
Better than Expected. Starts off Strong with the Divided we fall and the Shang-chi teamp up graphic novels. Then onto the main run, the Doctor Doom issues were a little confusing, but then onto the next 4-5 issues of the infinity war tie ins, now these were entertaining. Issue 50 I think is a double sized issue, which also was very good. And the epic finishes off with a 3 part Chuck Dixon Marvel presents story which was solid enough.
Now this may be considered one of the weakest Moonknight eras, but whilst not perfect, it has enough in it to be entertained by. The art and panel sequences can sometimes make things confusing, but it's not as hard to follow as I expected, some of the art isn't well rendered, but there is still some amazing art to look over and enjoy if you are into 90s comic style art. Overall decent enough so recommend giving it a go.
