I thought I knew who my fated mate was—I was wrong. I’m meant for four entirely different men.
All my life I was destined for one man.
I was meant to be his.
So why has he rejected me?
The jerk is gonna pay for what he did. The four gods of my people, who have come to me at my lowest point, are on my side. Thale, Lucian, Everett and Adar are the men of my dreams, powerful, sinful shifters who want to change the packs forever.
They are wicked, wicked wolves.
My wicked, wicked wolves.
And I’m their omega, destined to bring the old ways back to life and change the packs forever.
Wolf Reborn is a spinoff of the bestselling Wolf Ascendant series, and has cameos from the previous characters in it, but reading Wolf Ascendant isn't necessary to jump into this series! Wicked Wolves is high heat and has no choosing.

There is a decent plot here, the delivery however is lacking. I couldn't feel sympathy for the heroine because her character is one dimensional. The world as she knows it is ending, does she do anything, or tell anyone what she's learned or even ask the right questions? no!
Her pity party seems to be more about what she could have gained than anything else. Pretty sure this apple didn't fall far from the tree. If the elementals had started off by telling her what she (personally) would gain, she would have been sprinting to save the world.
Sadly the whole woe is me thing is tedious, especially for a ghost she never even met or talked to. I would understand if the First Alpha (don't get me started on that one) was her lost love, he's an idea by the way, he was dead/alive/reborn again before she was even born. Considering the fact she'd been seeing the elementals instead, it doesn't add up.
The world build is lacking, left a lot of "fill it in yourself" gaps. The humans know about the supernatural side but the packs and covens worry about the "feds" knowing they use a lot of magic. So what exactly is the point of wards and how would humans even quantify overuse of magic. If the humans are so dangerous how come the "evil" vampires are taking strolls all over the place snacking?? I digress....
It's a shame because it's a different take on the werewolves origins. It could have been epic.
I'm having a hard time with this series right now. I'll read the next book because I want to give it a chance, but right now I'm not liking it. I don't like any of the characters. Our MC is a completely incompetent person who thinks that all life is about is being mated. When her first opportunity falls through, she jumps right into the next opportunity. I get that they're supposedly fated mates, but there isn't even any getting to know them. All the guys seem to care about is that she's an omega and they want to knot her. That is said repeatedly by each of the guys. They couldn't care less who she is as a person. All they care about is claiming her due to her omega status. We have tons of intimate scenes in which our MC is begging to be knotted and claimed because that's all she's ever wanted... To belong. I just couldn't stop rolling my eyes.
I'm hoping this is just setting up the plot and our story and MC get better. If not, then book 2 will be the end of the road for me in this series. I can't stand stories that make a woman sex crazed enough to tolerate men using her and who don't treat her as she has any value for anything other than what is between her legs.
I’m on the fence on whether I like this book or not. There was chapters after chapters of $ex scenes, which is when the plot of the story kinda stalls. I had to skip multiple chapters just to get back to it. Overall I think the balance was off. It’s also strange to me that once the gods were real, there was no talk about the first mate and his brother. Seems kinda off, as that was the reason her mating ceremony didn’t go well, and also poisoned the packs bonds. I did find it confusing at the beginning of the book when they were describing the first Alpha vs the Alpha. Until the gods explained how to bring them back. Not sure how I feel exactly, I liked the plot, just the other stuff should have had a better balance.
Lucy never lets me down with her books, especially books with rejected or exiled characters. She keeps me turning pages wondering what next and waiting for the "other shoe to drop" . Exactly character an plot development. The growth the characters have not just as a group but individually makes you love or hate them lol. This book finds us drooling over her four mates. The fmc was bot or a pain in the beginning but grew on my as she developed.
Rina thought she was going to mate with the First Alpha and take her place in her pack but everything goes wrong and thus begins her story in this first book. it was a wild ride as Rina goes looking for answers and finds a few very hot men along the way. Lots of danger, action, trouble and crazy people. She really grows along the way as she faces things. Interesting characters and fun times to entertain me.
I'm not sold on this first book in an omegaverse series. The plot was ok, but I was not enthranced by the set up of the story. I didn't get swept away by the flow of the story because it somehow felt forced. So although there should have been lots to like here, this book did not resonate with me. But it will likely be good for other readers.

I’m trying to decide how I feel about this book. It triggered me because the fmc mom was a lot like my own, nuff said. The story was a good one. The men? I can’t decide if they are morally gray, a bit self centered or just plain selfish after being guardians slash gods too long. For having spent so many years trapped together and bonded in a way they really don’t think like a pack. Maybe that’s my problem.
OMG it grabs you from the very first page and takes you on a emotional ride. The cliffhanger is what's killing me. I need to know what happened. I love Lucian so he has to come out on top. I don't know if I can handle it if he doesn't. I care for all of them but Lucian is my favorite.

So yes this was an interesting book to read for sure. I love omegaverse but there were a few things that were a little hard to get through. Overal I did enjoy the story though as I love the characters and how the relationships develop at their pace. After being rejected Rina goes through some things and I think in the end it made her a better person.
Someone please call the firefighters. And hand me some towels because here things are very wet and scorching hot. Why didn't I read this before? This is a gem. Rina is as thirsty for her men as I am for the second book. And that means it's a lot. I loved every word of this book.
