Fallyn Mitchell’s perfect life begins to unravel at the seams piece by piece. As life shows her not everything is within her control, she finds solace in her best friend, Stax. For the last ten years, Stax has been the one constant in Fallyn’s life that has been unchanging. When he finally meets the perfect woman for him romantically, Fallyn’s feelings for him start to come to the surface, and she has to choose between keeping her friendship intact or risking it for a romantic relationship that Stax may not even want.
Stax Tate gets everything he wants and needs from a woman in his best friend… except sex. Most women expect more than what he’s willing to give, so when he meets Paige, Stax believes he’s finally met his match. The joy Stax thought would come with having the perfect woman is buried under his true feelings for his best friend. No matter how much Stax tells himself he doesn’t deserve a woman like Fallyn, that doesn’t keep his heart and body from craving her.
Stax and Fallyn are alike where it counts and different where it matters most. Two things they have in common are their fear of rejection and belief that the other doesn’t return their romantic feelings. Will one of them find the courage to speak up, or will Stax’s relationship with Paige lead to a permanent engagement that will keep the best friends from experiencing love forever?

I listened to the audiobook of the Business of Lust and I feel the narrators did a good job. I liked the friends to lovers aspect. It was clear Fallyn and Stax were in love and were soulmates. I’m glad they got it together before it was too late.
I enjoyed this book even though I wanted to shake Fallyn and Stax because they were taking too long to express their feelings, lol. I loved their chemistry together. They built a solid friendship before anything else. I'm glad Paige didn't accomplish what she was trying to do. The family drama is continuing and I can't wait to see what Major has going on.
Friends to lovers. I feel Fallyn and Stax really were trying to pretend they didn’t have romantic feelings for each other. But they finally admitted it. Paige was a snake and got on my last nerve. Glad the cliffhanger from the last book was revealed.
A friends to lover that I was so happy about! Stax & Fall were playing from page 1. Between the flings and hooks ups it’s like she was waiting sideline but overall she was trying to suppress her feelings.
I thought Paige was about to take him out the game tbh. But I’m so glad she didn’t because ugh! lol
Great read and can’t wait to dive into part 3.

“The Business of Lust” book two of the Bank on Love series was a good read. However, this book was more about family/friendship dynamics than the books’ title “lust” infers. …💭hmmm, unless the title is referring to Paige’s dehydrated a$$🤬😤‼️Meanwhile, Stax & Fallyn mutual admission and subsequent friendship transition was inevitable. Thereafter, unless there’s more to the Timber saga…twenty years afterwards. REALLY Cassie⁉️ …she, Frank & family dodged the frustration/humiliation of paternity, custody & or child support payments. Please, (there’s no issue nothing to discuss, definitely no reason to end a marriage 🤦🏾♀️buy a gift & call it a night‼️ …what the heck is she upset about? …🤷🏾♀️
I’m glad Stax and Fal finally got it together. It was clear from beginning that feelings were involved and that fear of rejection was plaguing them both. I loved how considerate they were with the other’s feelings—it was refreshing. Paige was a nonfactor from the start with her trifling behind.
Timber’s situation is sad. However, I can empathize with her and her husband because both had a point. Hopefully, they can find a resolution.
Mama Cassie is not playing with Frank’s butt and I don’t blame her. Whew, I can’t wait to see what happens with that.
Stax and Fallyn went ten years allowing the other to be in meaningless relationships. They loved one another from the beginning of their friendship, but didn't know how to act on their feelings. Eventually, they both realized how their feelings had changed for each other and decided to act on it. It was the best feeling they both had ever experienced. Paige tried to sabotage it, but all she got was fired. The issues with Timber getting sick and being their sister was a lot on Stax and his brothers, but they worked it out. Can't wait to read Major's book! Job well done, B!
Momma ain't no JOKE at all!!!...Daddy should not have hidden a daughter for over 20 years...I truly hope they can find their way back to each other in time!!!...I was soooo happy for Staxs, best way to start a relationship is with a great friendship!!!... In me was also real crazy...He has that beat down coming!!!...There is NOTHING like a mother's love and their sister said it best, you will never know the feeling until you have carried the baby!!!...
This book was dramatic emotional and wow these brothers are all lover but run in the wrong way. Stax and Fallan know each other for over 10 yrs best friends in love but never acknowledge it. Stax have various women he sleep around with but he always never settle , he always ran back to Fallan . She was in love with but yet she find time to counsel him. Eventually they have to tell each other what's been bothering them and the romance begin. Family intertwined lots of drama. Good read . Love the story now book 3 .
Stax has definitely taken the top spot for me in this series. He was very much giving hood gentleman wrapped in a bow. I loved that he was honest through and through and the build up of him and Fallyn was AMAZING!!!! I was like IKDR! They in love LOVE. Paige was a shiesty something. I will say I appreciate Stax’s discipline cause we all know how some men are too easy to finesse. Stax was NOT one of them. Ain’t nothing like a man with discipline.
This was a cute friends to lovers romance. I got more entertainment from Stax's parents though. Lol I'm with his mom. I would've asked for a divorce too ✌🏾
I really enjoyed reading this well written book tat flowed well and kept my attention. Stax really didn’t want any lasting relationships, so he went from one female to the next, but he only slept with one woman at a time. Fallyn was his friend for the past ten years and moved close to him each time he moved. Paige really irked my last nerve because she was constantly trying to scheme and trap Stax by getting pregnant. Fortunately, it never happened. I loved the character development of Stax and how he manned up to get in a relationship with Fallyn. Now his parents are on a different plane and I can’t wait to read more about them.
This book definitely got me in my emotions, I loved Stax and Fallyn together. Now anybody could see they where in love with each other because their chemistry was everything. Fallyn had me upset when she just stopped talking to Stax, like you knew his past but you should have had more trust in him. Paige was something special she went in it for the wrong reasons and ended up looking stupid. That ending got me, I need Majors book like now because I need to know what is going to happen!
Fallyn and Stax!!!! I just love them and their relationship. Ten years as loving best friends was a lot to risk when love and lust revealed itself in hearts and friendship. Whew! So glad they finally got it together.
Frank, Frank, Frank! Why can’t men just be truthful? He had ample time and opportunity to come clean to Cassie. Hmmph! Not sure if I want them to work things out. Guess I’m in my feelings. lol
Major’s story is next and I am anxiously anticipating even more love and drama.
I enjoyed this book, but I wanted to shake Stax and Fallyn real bad. These two took ignoring their feelings for each other to a whole other level. They literally did everything together that one would do in a relationship except sex, but once they finally crossed that line, their love for each other came full circle for me. I loved how they spoiled each other and took care of each others needs as friends but I don’t know how they were able to hide their feelings for so long. This was a cute book and I’m curious about the Orion and Major.
Fallyn and Stax is a god read their friend dynamic was so unique, although they were best friends they were also lovers but not in a physical way anytime some holds your heart the way they protected each other they were non physical lovers…now momma Cassie know she wrong she made the decision to leave and separate now it’s biting her in the ass trying to make her husband the bad guy I get it he could have told you sooner but the mother lied….Rubella wants back in after 13 years gone like nothing or nobody has changed u sr hound have stayed gone
At first I thought this was going to be one of those stories that you get frustrated with because the main characters keep avoiding the inevitable. It wasn’t anything like that. These two have a friendship that’s unhealthy in a healthy way. Crazy but true! Stax is sex on a stick and Fallon is just one of the guys. Eventually these two take their blinders off and see with everyone else around them sees. Their friendship is perfect because they’re in love with each other. Duh!
Stax and Fallyn friends to lovers story was so cute. I liked how they were so comfortable with each other that they knew each other in ways other people didn't, even as just friends. I couldn't stand Paige!! I know she didn't go down without a fight so I'm curious to see if she'll resurface in the next book. And the parents drama!!! Omg! I can't wait to see how it all unfolds. Start this series today if you haven't!
I love when best friends fall in love with each other. Stax and Fallon knew they had feelings for each other. It's about time they admitted to each other. Paige should have just left Stax alone after he told her about him and Fallon. The shocker is Timber is their sister. I can't wait until the next book to find what happens between Mama Cassie and Frank. Also I want to know who Major gonna fall in love with. Very good book.
I will admit I had my reservations on reading this story. The author is new for me but the relationship of Stax and Fallyn .. hello God it's me... Please send me a Stax... But back to the story, I am so happy for everything that worked out for the man couple. I will have to read Orion's story and I am so looking forward to seeing what is going on with major and yes even seeing what happens with Frank. Excellent rainy day read.
I loved this sequel although I felt like Fallyn and Staxx was truly working a nerve trying to remain best friends. Was Staxx a man hoe?, absolutely but at least he was up front with the women he was dealing with. Will Fallyn keep in the friend zone only time will tell. I liked that the characters Orion and Montana came through to keep the series relevant. Can't forget the fact these three brothers, alpha males, hood and financially stable. Just rip the panties off me already.
Some of the best romantic relationships grow from amazing friendships. Fal and Stac certainly proved that to be true. The love they had for each other. The care that they showed one another was if they were always in a relationship. It was so beautiful to read. And once they became intimate, LORDT, the chemistry was off the chains.
This was a perfect friends to lovers. Stasia and Fallyn were basically soul mates, disguised as friends and ultimately lovers. It was good seeing the family together again with a little drama thrown in for seasoning! The drama continues in Majors book I'm sure because there was no resolution. Did I say how much I loved Star and Fallyn? You really need to get into The Banking on Love series if you haven't.
I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK OF THIS BOOK & ITS CHARACTERS' STORYLINES. WHAT I DID FIND ANNOYING WAS THE NARRATORS FOR THE AUDIOBOOK KEPT MISPRONOUNCING ONE OF THE CHARACTER'S NAMES REFERRING TO HER AS FALLIN', LIKE SOMEONE HAD FALLEN DOWN THE STEPS OR SOMETHING. WHEN THE CHARACTER'S NAME IS FALLYN--AS IN 'FAAL-LYN'. I DO LIKE THE IDEA OF LONG TIME MALE-FEMALE FRIENDS FINDING LOVE WITH EACH OTHER AFTER DATING OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT THEIR TYPE FOR YEARS.
Well written story about two extremely close friends finding love with one another. Stax and Fallyn have been friends for over 10 years and suddenly start to see each other in a different light. I was disappointed that Orion and Montana were hardly mentioned in this book. I was looking forward to catching up with them. I liked the drama surrounding Timber and Paige ( she tried it) lol
Wow! That ending! Geesh I need the next book like yesterday. I’m so glad Stax and Fallyn found a love so deserving of them. I think friends to lovers are one of my favorite themes. But there was a lot going on at the end and I need to see how it all turns out.
