Not for any old pack though – Nova wants a pack of alphas that will protect, cherish and care for her the way she needs. All she wants is to be loved .
But thanks to her nightmare ex-boyfriend, every pack in town thinks she’s bad news.
When a charity auction lands her in the lap of the Kings, Nova isn’t convinced, but she’ll give it her best shot. This is her last chance, or she’ll be mated to her ex-boyfriend’s pack whether she likes it or not.
Asher, Marcus and Seth are well-known for their ruthless ways, and they’re determined to keep Nova at bay for the 30 days they have to spend together. No omega could possibly meet their needs, so what's the point in trying?
But even three strong-willed alphas can’t stand up to an omega who knows what she wants.

I didn’t love nor hate this book. Over all its written quite well. The plot is solid and editing was good.
Nova experienced abuse from a pack that liked to terrorize and harm her. Her trauma was bad enough that she had triggering panic attacks and nightmares. There was a scene where just eating breakfast caused her to have a flashback. Or the men reaching there arms around her caused her to flinch….
YET!!! She allowed and enjoyed the men “punishing” her with spankings. Then one of her guys kink is pretend kidnapping and hunting her through the woods… and this is just days after they met each other. Lol
🤦♀️ pick one. Trauma or kinky fetishes, but you can not have both. Unless there’s been months of emotional and mental work done together where she learns to fully trust them and begins to heal. But it wasn’t. The men were ready to claim her after 24 hours. She claimed to be falling for them by day 3.
You're telling me that Nova, who escaped traumatized from the Williams pack who first seduced her by acting sweetly but then restrained her and started dishing out punishments, is pretty much going to let the Adams pack act sweetly and right away allow them to restrain her and let them punish her by spanking her? Like for real?
My mind blanks as his thumb rubs my cheek. “I… will it hurt?” “Maybe a little,” he answers honestly. “At first. And then it becomes something more... pleasurable.”
Please tell me if spanking is sooooo f*cking pleasurable why is it never the men getting a good spanking? Oh right, because it isn't pleasurable. It's just men getting off on women's pain.

I mean, I finished it? Dark AF world, but mostly sweet central pack romance. I'm not in love with the trope where the traumatized heroine somehow knows she can trust the heroes. That does a lot of the work that time and effort should be doing. Oh, these strangers totally don't want to control and traumatize me like the last pack of guys! I just know it!
I liked the story, but the writing was mid. I still confuse the mmcs even after finishing the book. Predictable but cute, and what I was looking for more or less.
There are many different kinds of hunt. And Nova Chevnik is in my sights now, more of a priority than the Williams pack, but a different kind of prey. The kind you watch, learning everything about them. Mapping their soul from the inside out.
I loved this shorter Omegaverse. It is on the sweeter side of OV, though it has some dark elements (the FMC has a traumatic past with her ex-pack). It is low-angst with the men all in from the get-go who are extremely protective of Nova. Their “burn the world down for her” attitude was such a pleasure to read.
I really appreciated the individual relationships Nova built with the men. Specifically, her relationship with Marcus was my favorite. She sensed his aversion to touch and the need for consistency and worked to make him as comfortable as possible. She constantly checked in with how he was doing as they expanded his boundaries.
There is a significant emphasis on chosen family – how the pack was formed from individual Alphas who had been abandoned in some way and how Nova’s treatment by her own parents left her feeling alone. Together, they all become the family they never had before.
I consider this a medium/fast-burn romance. There is a great amount of spice found in the form of punishments (of the sexy kind) and primal play with an undercurrent of learning to trust after suffering abuse.
I recommend this book as a palate cleanser between darker reads.
Genre: Contemporary Omegaverse Romance Tropes/Features: Age gap, All-in MMCs, Billionaires, Morally Gray, trauma survivor FMC, neurodivergent virgin MMC, primal play, found family, touch-her-and-die, Knotting, heats, nesting, bond marks Narrator: Multi 1st Person POV Relationship Type: Why Choose MFMM, medium/fast burn, spicy (primal play and other kinks) Book Type/Ending: Standalone with HEA
This started out strong but then kinda plateaued. It felt like a lot of was left unexplained, underexplained, too simplified or glossed over. (What do the guys actually do? How are they bad and/or ruthless? Are there any Betas in this world?)
The setup for how Nova meets the guys was great. She's snappy and lively when she talks to two of three guys before the auction. When take her home after winning the auction, she loses that light and is skittish and unsure. The characterization felt inconsistent.
For OV, the spice was lacking heat. I need twosomes, threesomes, and foursomes! Long and descriptive scenes are what I expect in OV, and I didn't get that. The heat scene was very short and basically an epilogue.
I'm sure others will enjoy this more so take my review with a grain of salt. After reading this, I've learned that I prefer OV to be on the longer side (and get lots of sweet and sexy moments) instead of shorter.
I liked this book in the beginning, I wish it didn't get spoiled for me.
I like kink in my smut reads, but part of it - I'd say point of it - is communication. Trust and preferences are not implied. There was a way to get to the scenes the author wanted to that would have built it up the right way. You can't, CAN'T let the FMC be traumatized by abuse that came down to being punished for her behavior, thrust her in with the new pack, let them say >we will never punish you<, and literally one scene later go, we are going to punish you for what you just did, but you'll like it and you can say stop... There isn't enough difference, there wasn't enough time and build-up... Abuse isn't abouse just because WHO does it. Why are we pretending that the discussions of preferences aren't hot? Let your characters voice their wants and limits... Go get inspired by Sara Cate or Alethea Faust...
Evelyn has done it again! 😍 This is one of the best books I've read in a long time, and it pulled me out of the biggest book slump. I read it in one night because I just couldn't put it down. The characters are well thought out and important topics are approached without overdoing it or making it into a cliche. I loved Marcus, and I was so happy to see a neurodiverse character represented so thoughtfully. The hurt comfort trope is one of my absolute favorites, and the spicy scenes were so 😩
🔥Neurodiverse MMC 🔥Virgin MMC 🔥Primal play 🔥Billionaire pack
This was adorable! I loved the characters, the instalove and the sweetness each alpha brought.
My only two complaints are the timing of Nova being snatched up and the epilogue not being further out.
I wish her being kidnapped happened a bit sooner only so we could see her working through the trauma of that with the guys instead of just being told, ya know? It made the ending feel a bit rushed. Plus they were only together for a couple weeks beforehand, I think, so an epilogue that was years out would’ve been perfect!
Other than those things, I loved this. The writing was great and I’ll definitely be picking up more of this authors work.

I really enjoyed this Omegaverse book. This was my first book by Evelyn Flood and it will definitely not be my last.
This book really does the found family trope beautifully. The King pack literally runs into Nova and in the end, saves her from a horrible fate.
Nova is an adorable omega that really just wants to be loved. The King pack are a bit morally gray, but that really isn’t the focus of the book. The most beautiful part of this book is the relationship between Nova and Marcus, one of her alphas. He is autistic and relatively adverse to touch prior to Nova. Their relationship is everything! I loved them together so much!
This was an excellent Omegaverse book. It was very well written and I loved the characters.
24 year old Nova is being auctioned to a pack and hopes she won't end up with the Williams, the pack that traumatized her before. Thankfully she meets the Kings, the most wealthy and ruthless pack that exists and that might be able to save her from the Williams.
I loved this story. I understand the reviews that say she goes from one trauma to another but it's the principle of omegaverse and mates for me. When you know they're the ones, you know, and you trust.
I loved all three men in the King's pack and their different personality, especially Marcus and how his relationship with Nova was developed !
Love this take on Omegaverse and how the author handled trauma/abuse and overcoming it to find happiness. The alphas are everything desirable. Loved the characters and how they came together.
Three men okay slay. Feels weird that Marcus is autistic but maybe that's just how I feel. Good trauma but not fully explored. Pacing was weird (fast and slow). Liked the nesting concept alot. Spice: 3.5/5 | Men: 3/5 | FMC: 3/5 | Total: 3/5
I had a lot of fun is def less intense than others in terms of the romance and attraction but it was written MUCH better and just overall pretty cute Just what I needed
So this wasn’t particularly nuanced, but I still kind of love it?! Traumatised omega running from her ex boyfriend’s pack, MMCs are part of a more powerful rival pack who are all “who did this to you???”. It’s pretty insta-lust/love/trust, but still hit the spot.
Good premise, good villains, some good MCs but in the end fell flat due to glossed over plot points that were built up for chapters, spice that was cut short, and a lot of telling without showing.
I would recommend if you’re new to OV and unsure of how heavy/dark of a read you’re comfortable with. This is a good gauge as it’s pretty tame but still presents various themes.
The negative reviews on the book about severe trauma rushed to kinky smut scenes within days weren't wrong, but I think I'm currently feeling a lot more generous with my ratings, and if I hand-waved and assumed it took longer than a timeline of days, I enjoyed the overall relationship and smut. The tropes were nothing new (other than an autistic alpha) and the plot was pretty predictable, but I found it to be a quick entertaining read filled with action.
In this novel, we meet Nova, our omega fmc. She is trying to keep away an abusive pack from her past, but because omegas are essentially under their families rule until they reach 25, she is given two options. Join pack Williams (the ex in question) or take a chance on the Auctions. She, obviously, takes option B, where she meets the Kings: Seth, Asher, and Marcus.
I loved this, in all honesty. The mmcs were patient and kind with Nova, considering her past, but never treated her as if she were fragile. They fell hard, and fast, and were absolutely smitten with her (which I love to read). I also really appreciated the care the author uses with her autistic character, he felt well written but without being a caricature or stereotype.
Overall, a sweet omegaverse story with autistic rep, traumatized fmc learning to trust, and big simping alphas. I’d definitely recommend.
Where do I start?????? This book was 🙌🏻amazing 🙌🏻and everything I wanted and more. I can honestly say that I’ve fallen in love with the Omegaverse genre❤️
This story is about Nova (our FMC) finding her place amongst her hot (yet very sweet) pack (the Kings: Asher, Seth, and Marcus). While all three of them hold a special place in my heart, my favorite has to be Marcus. He was so tender and considerate with Nova, that I’m wondering where I can find a man like that 😭😭. The slow build between them before getting intimate was 🤭. Those text messages……
“Take Nova on a date” “Set a date” “Clean, soft bedding for Nova” “Showers” “Massage” “Foreplay” “Sex”
I also want to say that I never thought the idea of a knot could be so hot 🥵 🔥🔥🥵, especially the nesting part and being taken care of by possessive, dominant men 🔥……..SIGN ME UP!
If you want a happy ending🫣,then make sure to read this book.
Spoilers: Abused omega Plenty of spice🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ RH Knotting Virgin MMC NO CHEATING !

Can we stop with the omegaverse books where the Female has always been abused.
In this book, Nova the omega, where abused by a pack, and then auctioned by her mother, the king pack (not the abusers) bought her for 30 days. Less than 24 hours from when she met them, they are punishing her, spanking her and shit. When she literally just the night before was flinching from everything and thought they would get mad for drinking coffee before the alpha leader?!!!
If the story has a omega that has been through abuse and hardship they CANNOT be secure and safe enough to do any kinky shit less than a month after the abuse, especially if that abuse was sexually related. They would need to heal and process the trauma they went through, and yes with the right pack they could get into kinky shit.
But this book did not execute anything good. Why I even listen to booktok anymore when the books they recommend are 90% of the time shit and deeply inaccurate to how things work.
The only positive thing was the neurodivergent character
