So. Much. DRAMA!
For the record, I HATE Glither, the pope, the Emperor and the Crown Prince (at least he wasn’t in this one too much). I’m not overly fond of the OG “heroine” either, I suspect she will be a bigger part in the next volume. Boo.
I just want my Ship to Sail and be happy and safe, with all of their family and people safe and happy too.
5, when is the next volume out again, stars.

Another fun read! Now... where is the third novel??
I liked the first novel a little more, but it was fun nonetheless. The Kartina family is still fun and funny. I liked them more in the second novel than in the first. Once they somewhat accepted Rodrigo, they became more likable.
I loved Rodrigo's affection towards Estrella. It's still cute and cuter than the first novel. I hope he gets the reassurance that he needs, that Estrella likes him back. He deserves it; he works so hard.
Estrella's and Rodrigo's relationship was a little more complicated now, with more misunderstandings. They weren't my favorite parts, but hopefully, they'll have better outcomes in the third book.
I have to say... the original female lead, I didn't like her. She was annoying. I'm unsure if her character leads toward her fangirling over Estrella or if she will be a problem later on. Hopefully, the third book will clear that up.
I still hate the royals and the church. They really have to chill. Estrella's cousin isn't any better, either.
Now, I noticed a few formatting mistakes. Not a big deal, such as a sentence stopping in mid-line and suddenly continuing towards the end of the line. It was just a big gap that shouldn't have been there. It didn't take the experience away; it was just distracting when it happened.

Band 2 von „The Obsessed Hero and the Villainous Family’s Daughter“ geht glücklicherweise da weiter, wo Band 1 endete, ohne dass man hier irgendwelche Zeitsprünge erleben muss. *puh* Ich hasse derartige Zeitsprünge, weil sie mich als Leser häufig verwirren.
Estella ist genauso schön wie stur und durchsetzungsfähig. Sie hat anscheinend immer recht kreative Ideen, die ihre Familie mit Sicherheit in den Wahnsinn treiben dürfte – mehr schon als sie es eh schon ist. Doch gleichzeitig scheint sie den Helden der Geschichte, Rodrigo, mit sich zu reißen. Doch können die beiden gemeinsam den Krieg zwischen zwei Ländern unbeschadet überstehen? Und wird Rodrigo einfach so mit ihrem Plan mitziehen? Hm… na, was denkt ihr? Schwer einzuschätzen, aber einen Plan setzen die beiden um, damit alle Beteiligten mit heiler Haut davonkommen, zumindest die wichtigen Charaktere. *hüstel*
Denn neben der Haupthandelt passiert in Estellas Familie etwas unsagbar krasses, was sie und ihre jüngeren Cousins betrifft. Es ist echt krass. Doch dahinter scheint mehr zu stecken, als man im ersten Moment zu sehen scheint. Und dann taucht nunmehr endlich die eigentliche Protagonistin auf. Wird Estella nun das Feld räumen? Wird Rodrigo sich für die „echte“ Heldin der Geschichte entscheiden? Ich bin schon sehr gespannt, wie dieses „Dreiergespann“ sich noch entwickeln wird. Bisher ist mir Annehein nicht wirklich sympathisch und sie stellt sich lebensfremder an als man es von einer (tragischen) Heldin erwarten würde. Eigentlich ein Wunder, dass die Familie von Estella sie bisher am Leben gelassen hat… *hust*
Es rücken immer mehr Spielfiguren auf dem Spielfeld vor, einiges wird klarer, anderes wird immer undeutlicher. Deutlich wird nur, dass die drakonische Kirche tatsächlich etwas im Schilde führt… Doch was? Das bleibt bisher im Verborgenen und Estella scheint sich bisher nicht daran erinnern zu können. Vielleicht tut sie es im nächsten Band???
Auch hier gibt es wieder ein paar sehr schöne Szenen zwischen Estella und ihrer Familie. Ihre Geschwister sind einfach herrlich. Wenn sie nicht regelrecht immer wieder alles in Schutt und Asche legen würden beim Training, dann könnte man sie schon als ideale Geschwister bezeichnen.
Auch Rodrigo entwickelt sich und zeigt immer wieder etwas sanftere Züge in Gegenwart von Estella. Ich finde, die beiden ergänzen sich ziemlich gut und sind nicht nur im Kampf ein gutes Team.
Und wann findet bittet diese blö… nervige Königsfamilie ihr Abl… Abdanken? Die gehen mir echt auf den Keks, scheinen aber aus Sicht von Estellas Familie ein notwendiges Übel zu sein… Ganz ehrlich? Die stünden auf meiner Abschussliste ganz weit oben. *Krallen schärf*
Eine super spannende Fortsetzung mit vielen interessanten Handlungssträngen, die hoffentlich noch aufgeklärt werden, aber dadurch die Geschichte etwas undurchschaubarer machen. So etwas mag ich! Wenn ich nach 5 Minuten weiß, was geschieht, ist so eine Geschichte nämlich total doof. So macht das Lesen wenigstens Spaß!

Still a pretty strong story.
This book was also an easy read while being interesting enough to hold my attention and funny. If you take this story seriously you will be disappointed because it’s a little too silly and over the top, but that makes it fun. There wasn’t much character development but the plot moves right along without too much depth. Don’t expect an epic tale, have lower expectations and be pleasantly surprised by its simplicity. This is book 2 of 4 and I’ve read 1-3 because the 4th hasn’t come out yet. If you haven’t started, think about if you want to spend nearly $10 per book 4 times for 1 completed story. And then add these words of caution — book 3 didn’t make as much sense and was a little hard to follow. I don’t know if the book was translated to English and this is the translator’s fault or the author wrote it in English and decided to give up on cohesive story telling by book 3. But Book 3 was a little bit of a let down.

I have been waiting for Volume 2 and now I need Volume 3. I have enjoyed this series so much and cannot wait to see what happens next. Only thing I did not enjoy was the original FL because I feel that she is not a kind and innocent as our Estella believes. Hopefully thing's will be handled in the next book about the original FL and the backstabbing occurring in the family. Looking forward to more of our love dragons 😇😋 story. Love her family too. They bring so much love and humor.

Great book
The only problem with this book is that there’s not a third one yet… I love the way they got through the war… The palace intrigue continues, as does the war between the families… And you have to keep wondering just how stupid is the heroine that she did not realize that he really does love her. Still love the villainess family… They are some of my favorites. About tired with the king the emperor needs to die… Along with the pope, who is just sad and pathetic. Can’t wait for the next one.
