I enjoyed reading this book. The main character in the book, also shown in the title shows their dread in their predicament as there is seemingly no hope. However they venture within the island, their courage and faith keeping them alive. The story also teaches some skills in wild survival, such as building a tent, taming animals, etc. However, most parts of the story seem slow since it becomes very descriptive and lengthy, making it a little uninteresting. However the book is still worth reading, specifically for people interested in adventure and survival in the wilderness.
