The Guns of Connor Veley #5

by Robert J. Butts

Con Veley’s life has changed since Frank Canton and his gang murdered his family and left him all alone in the world. Now surrounded by family he didn’t know he had and his spitfire wife, Carol, he at last, has found peace and happiness. The town of Solitude, that Con founded, is flourishing and he’s content to settle in and raise his new son but the name Con Veley is set in legend and brings new enemies and old to his doorstep that he will have to face.

Con’s cousin Floyd Veley is set on starting a horse ranch outside of Solitude and sets off on a new adventure to capture a rumored herd of wild horses. He not only Wrangles the horses but also a new wife and so much more on his journey.

Buttsie and Abby slip through the shadows, tracking and hunting any enemy to their new extended family and the wildness that lives in their souls means there’s no back up in dealing with those enemies.

Sheriff Trev Veley, Randy Veley and Shaunda round out the family as they decide where they fit in the scheme of things and what they want their futures to look like.

Good read

This my first book by this author, and the fifth in this series. I will probably find and read the first four, since I really enjoyed this read. There is plenty of action, and I wish to know what happens to Kelly Ann.
