If I had to use one word to describe this book the only word that comes to mind is... Amazing! The characters as well as the writer have grown emmensely! So much depth, so much emotion, so much more! A must read for anyone who loves reading, loves romance, and loves vampires! Many people found the first book to be overwhelming due to all the super natural brings involved, well I think this book really shows the true genre and purpose of the authors story. Fantastically written loved every mind grabbing word!!!

I read Endlessly and found the story engaging with a great flow. The author sent this for review and it has the same great flow as the first. I found the dread building as the story progressed and of course the beginning of the book set the pace and I knew it would not have a happy ending. Of course there will be another in the series to help keep the story progressing and hope for a happier ending in the next. I didn’t care for some of the harsher language with some of the characters, but I had to remind myself that they are a rough crew.

This book sets the pace for the next one letting you know who to trust and who not to. The center of a trilogy is never a good place to be, it moves the story along but cannot have a real conclusion. Think Empire Strikes Back, not my favorite, but necessary to move the story forward.

If you read Endlessly or are looking to read a good paranormal series pick it up along with this one and I don’t think you will be disappointed.

In this follow-up to Endlessly, author CV Hunt ratchets things up more than a few notches. It turns out the happy ending of Endlessly was short-lived, and this is when Hunt's characters really begin to shine. The highs and lows are intense as we bounce back and forth between new love, unrequited love, a love triangle, anger, jealousy, and the myriad emotional entanglements involved in relationships. Then, to top it off, Hunt hits us with a devastating loss and its aftershocks. Legacy is an altogether fabulous read showcasing Hunt's imagination, creativity, and skill.

And the story continues. Ash and Verloren move forward into their new life only to find that evil still lurks around every corner.

This book is the sequel to Endlessly. The reader will enjoy beginning the book right in the middle of the action. Though the events and characters have somewhat calmed down, Ashley still has another surprise for the reader-an unprecedented one. In the last book, Ashley convinced Verloren to change her into a vampire. Normally, there would not be complications with the change; however, Ashley's dragon heritage complicates an otherwise easy change. The reader will learn that after Ashley drinks from a victim, that victim does not exactly die...although his/her soul moves on...

In order to discover just why and what to do about Ashley's latest skill, Ashley and Verloren head to an older vampire hang-out. Jason tags along, still determined to prove that his connection to Ashley (formed from the rather gruesome act of eating her leftovers) is important and valid. He has puppy-love for her. The reader will enjoy the new environment, meeting the secondary characters will prove both interesting and fun. Of course, happiness can't last forever...Ashley and her "crew" are in danger about halfway through the novel, a danger that could prove fatal for at least one of the main characters.

Ashley remains a fun and unique character; she is a little impulsive, brash, happy-go-lucky (now that she has Verloren), and an unusual vampire. Verloren is just as loving and caring as ever, the reader will actually believe that their love is real. Jason is more like Ashley than any other character. He, too, is impulsive and brash. He believes he loves Ashley and would do anything for her. The secondary characters are just as intriguing and fun to get to know.

The events are fast-paced, some are very high-energy fight scenes that will assuredly entertain the reader. The plot carries over from the first book a little, with a few twists thrown in. This book was an enjoyable read, recommended to young adults/adults.

I really enjoyed the first book in this trilogy, but didn't feel that this one was as good. What started off as a UF series I feel has changed rather dramatically to a PNR one - this book was almost sickeningly soppy in several parts and I actually got bored of reading how much the two main characters loved each other.

Ash, a dragon-vampire hybrid and the love of her life, Verloren, a vampire with the power to read people's auras, move to a secret underground compound after the fall of the Quatre (the rulers of all things supernatural) and along with their sort-of friend Jason, meet up with some other supernaturals. I liked the idea of the gargoyles and how they change their forms depending on how much evil they have absorbed. It was fairly obvious something was going to happen with the demon, but it wasn't quite what I expected.

Ash discovers she has a new power and it is this power that the demon intends to manipulate for his own intentions. I really don't understand how a vampire and a dragon-vampire hybrid could not have stood up against a single demon. Maybe he REALLY was that much more powerful than the two of them together, but I do think they should have at least given it a bit more of a fighting chance. I felt the end fight scene was over before you blinked and so much more could have been made of it.

The ending was just boring. I understand why Ash was in the depression she was in, but to still be in it a year later with no sense of moving on even slightly and reading 18% or so of the book about her depression nearly triggered me into going into one myself. I did almost put the book down after a few pages of it, but I was determined to get through to the end.

I will probably eventually read the last book in this trilogy, only because I have already bought it! I would like to see Ash turn herself around and I do wonder if the rumour about Verloren's return would turn up to be true or not.

Legacy is the second book in the Endlessly series. The story of Ashley the vampire/dragon and Verloren, her vampire boyfriend picks up right after they have destroyed the evil Quatre. They take refuge in an underground refuge where they are introduced to a collection of otherworldly creatures.
And from there it is downhill(pardon the pun)all the way.The addition of zombies was my first clue that this was going to be a gruesome read.I have never been a fan of zombies, and this book just reenforced my loathing of the use of them. Legacy is a darker and sadder addition to the series. Overall, this was not a great read for me. However, the raw emotion expressed in this book as (spoiler alert) Ashley deals with the loss of Verloren comes across very real and heartfelt. Anyone who has dealt with the loss of someone dear to them will easily identify with her expressions of her grief.
As someone who dearly loves a good fairy tale, I can only hope that Phantom, the next in the series is not quite as dark and sad as this installment was.

So I loved the first book in the series and wanted to read more. This one didn't grab me in quite the same way as Endlessly. Endlessly was told from Verloren's point of view, while Legacy was told from Ashley's. There wasn't much action in the first part of the book, just descriptions of Ashley adjusting to her new life. And I didn't like the way the book ended. It was too dark and sad for me. The gargoyles were an interesting addition to the group. I will probably read the next in the series, just to see how the story progresses.

This story flows neatly from the first and encourages the reader to delve deeper into relationships that unfold. The story is from Ashley's POV..

We meet new people and also new challenges.. and A&V meet each with determination and joy.

We have to deal with Jason still convinced that he is in love with Ash...

There is tragedy and it is appallingly real

and the way Ash reacts to it is also so real I felt worn out just by reading it.

Books that can evoke that intense reaction are truly great and this one will be read again and again!

There wasn't much substance to this book. A lot of potential was wasted. The fight with the demon could have gone better. Ash's depression filled so many pages I was getting depressed. All in all there were several missed opportunities to make this more substantial.

The second book in the Endlessly trilogy. The second half of this book was emotionally grueling for me. There isn't much action. Most of the story is internal and centers around thoughts and feelings. The mythology that was set forth in book one is expanded upon here.

I loved this book but it was just sooooo sad and not what I was hoping that it wasn't true but I guess the last will let me know. Loving this trilogy.
