This one was a pretty okay story! The author did a wonderful job.
We meet Sirena and her mother, and I honestly thought Sirena was a cool heroine she wasn't wild or boring she was calm and collective. And when her mom informs her she's getting married, she accepts it even if she hates the idea. The meeting of her new step dad has her walls up since he's cold and rough around the edges. A few days later, she meets her soon to be step-brother when he carries her out of her dance recital.
Knox hates his father and knows he's an abusive person but can't do anything thanks to his uncle, so he watches his father's brides leave or get abused. Now he sees his soon to be step-sister, and she's his. He informs her she's staying at his place and she's his. Lots of tension and fighting from Sirena. At this point, she does some bratty things to get her way. It's like she flipped a switch.
I was getting annoyed by her actions.

An erotically romantic story about a son that’s tired of his father’s abusive ways towards his wives and is haunted my the death of his own mother meets his soon to be stepmother and stepsister at a recital the stepsister has at her high school. As soon as he sees her he knows that he has to be with her, so he grabs her off the stage where she’s performing and takes her to his penthouse is the families casino.
He lost his mother when he was younger, his father told him that she killed herself but he knew it was a lie so he has been watching and waiting until he has his chance. He works for his uncle which is part of the mafia. He doesn’t date because of what his father does to the women he marries and has never met a woman that he wants to be with. After hearing that his father is to be married yet again he thinks that the woman and her daughter are just gold diggers but after seeing the woman’s daughter he can’t help to think that he wants to make her his.
She’s about to graduate high school and her mother’s a lounge singer. What she likes doing is dancing. He father past away when she was younger. When she found out that her mother was going to remarry she didn’t like the idea, she has been the one that has been taking care of her and her mother since her father’s passing.

He has on of the men stay with her when he has to go to a meeting but she gives the guy something that puts him out and goes to meet her friend to find a dress for graduation and for her friends birthday dinner. When she gets back he’s standing waiting for her. But one look at each other had they can’t help having sex with one another. She moves into his room soon after. He told her that if he takes her that she will be his and she wants to be his, she likes his possessive manner.
She goes to school since she has a some time left to go before her graduation.

She doesn’t know what to do so she grabs the pan with the butter in it hitting him in the back of the head with it, he falls to the floor. She rushes to her mother to see if she’s okay before helping her up after a couple minutes they go to the penthouse that she stays at with the man’s son. Before they leave she grabs the his watch that lets him go in and out of the penthouses so he won’t be able to leave.
She sends a text to her boyfriend telling him what happened. Her boyfriend rushes to her while calling a doctor to check on his woman’s mother. She meets him at the door taking him to the guest room that use to be hers when she first moved in with him, that’s were he mother is at. The doctor informs him to keep her during the night because of a mild concussion and to give her fluids as well as ibuprofen. She gets her mother an ice pack as she does that he texts his uncle that they need to talk. He goes to his until telling him what happened, the uncle tells him to exterminate his father but he doesn’t want to know anything about it. Leaving he heads over to his friends to figure out what to do about his father. They brainstorm and once they figure out a plan, they go through with the plan and get him to his office where he tortures him to find out about what really happens to his mother and once he finds out he starts inflicting punishment for his actions from his mother, the women that her married, the woman and her daughter that he just married and the last is for himself. He lets him bleed out before calling some people to clean up the mess. He goes back to the apartment to get her so she can see him dead, he takes her there and also introduces her to the men that make up the crew.
She wakes up noticing the ring on her finger then she notices him standing watching her. He tells her that he wants to get married to her right there in bed to her, he also tell her that he loves her. She tell him yes, he wraps her in his arms. The get dressed and her mother gives her a bouquet of roses and kisses her and talks to her before leaving. The priest comes in and they have a short ceremony there. After they have their own vows as well as sealing it in their blood to bind it. After telling each other that they love one another they kiss, their clothes land on the floor and they make love.
She goes to school for final exams even though he didn’t want to go. The week passes by quickly with tests as well as end of the year events, she also throws away what she has put in her locker for the past four years.
Graduation is tonight and she wishes that her father was there to enjoy it with her. When her name is called her husband cheer for her, his entire family is there to support her but she only has eyes for him. Her and her friend goes to the graduation party together, she has fun but she wishes that she could be with her husband at home.
Five years later, he thinks every moment with her is perfection. Every day he starts off by giving her oral sex and on a bad day be goes home a lunch to have oral sex with her again. But tonight they will celebrate the opening of her third dance studio. Wonderfully written erotic romantic story with awesome characters which is a great page turner. A romantic happily ever after story.

17-year-old Sirena Albright, daughter of Emilia Albright, and 19-year-old Knox Valenti, son of Rowan Valenti, met at a high school dance recital that Sirena was performing in. The two main characters were thrust together because their parents were engaged to be married, although Knox was determined to make certain the ceremony never took place. However, the instant he laid his eyes on his soon-to-be stepsister, Knox was determined to make her his, going so far as to snatch her off the stage in the middle of her performance and secret her away to his penthouse in the casino owned by his family.
There were elements to this story that just didn't fit. 19-year-old Knox, for instance, came across as a much older man. His entire attitude was that of someone who could have been in his early-to-mid 30s, possibly even older. The "daddy/baby girl" kink didn't fit either, since they were barely 2 years apart in age. While I understand that some people mature faster than others, it just didn't fit this scenario. Also, Sirena's character didn't make a lot of sense either. One minute she was fighting Knox off, the next she was crawling into bed with him.
Sirena suspected that Rowan wasn't a good man, and Knox knew his father had somehow been responsible for his own mother's death, but just couldn't prove it. Neither of the main characters wanted Rowan to marry Emilia, mainly because they wanted to keep her safe. However, the marriage went through. Knox was determined to find a way to end his father, so when Rowan turned on his new wife, the son went to his uncle and said it was time to put an end to his father's machinations.
Though the story wasn't long, it was filled with plenty of angst, drama, and spicy scenes. While I didn't agree with the way either of the main characters was written, it was an interesting story and kept my attention until the end. Some of the things that happened, I was expecting, even rooting for. Other things, though, felt a bit OTT and unnecessary, almost to the point of taking it too far.
There were plenty of twists and turns to the storyline, and it was decidedly wicked enough to be considered among the darker romance novels, so the book wasn't all that bad. It was just unrealistic in how the characters were depicted. Because of that, I couldn't give it more than a two-star rating.

4/5 I've finally found the most prescious thing in the world, and I'm going to do whatever it takes to keep her.
Sirena's mother is marrying a dangerous man who also has a son, Knox, who's just as dangerous. Sirena and Knox meet at a dance recital in a flurry of jealousy and instant lust. He immediately takes her to his home to "protect her" from his dad and his rages.
Since I first laid eyes on her - fuck, was that really just hours ago? - I've been consumed with the need to keep her here, my ring on her finger, and my baby in her belly.
She's hesitant at first, but gives into her feelings. I loved being in Knox's mind during his POV, you could tell how obsessed he was. He's overprotective, possessive, and turns into a bit of a stalker just to keep her safe. He put tracking devices in all of her things, lol.
I think we all want a dirty talking hero, and that is exactly what Knox is! <3 I loved this novella, Ava Monroe is an amazing writer.

Sirena Albright is young and suspicious of her mother’s sudden new fiancé. She sees through his facade of being a charming gentleman. Her new step-brother doesn’t seem to be much better and for some reason he has his eyes set on claiming her.
This was fast-paced, over-the-top, and steamy. Knox is the perfect book boyfriend that is demanding, possessive, and jealous. He’s much older than Rena but he doesn’t care. He’s going to protect her, her mother, and make Rena his forever.

There's something about her soon to be stepfather that she doesn't trust. Knox hates his father! He knows that he had something to do with his mother's death. When he's told to attend his soon to be stepsister dance recital, he's definitely not happy. That is until he sees her dancing on the stage. He immediately knows that she is his. So.....what's a little kidnapping when you find the love of your life??? The only thing I wish was different in this book is that I wish Knox was older. I'm not sure why, I just do. Still loved it!!

This was, Forbidden, Step Siblings and Mafia Trope.
This was a quick and wonderful Mafia book.
Knox is damaged by his awful father. His father is constantly getting married only to destroy them. Knox tries to protect these ladies. But with this step Mum along came Sirena his step sister.
He fell head over heals from the second he say her. This was Instalove, possessive and hot hot love.
Sirena tried putting up a fight, but she succumbed to his charm every time.
Most of second half was hot and Steamy.
Then one day Sirena mum seems to be next target for her Step Dad.
Can her mum be saved?
Will Knox and Sirena's love last?

This was a quick and wonderful Mafia book.
Knox is damaged by his awful father. His father is constantly getting married only to destroy them. Knox tries to protect these ladies. But with this step Mum along came Sirena his step sister.
He fell head over heals from the second he say her. This was Instalove, possessive and hot hot love.
Sirena tried putting up a fight, but she succumbed to his charm every time.
Most of second half was hot and Steamy.
Then one day Sirena mum seems to be next target for her Step Dad.
Can her mum be saved?
Will Knox and Sirena's love last?

This is book two of the series, but they just share a theme. No prior reading is required to enjoy this story.
This is a short erotic romance with a theme as well as a bit of taboo. The story is well written and easy to read with a fun cast of characters that keeps thing simple and focused. I loved watching our hero try to do the right thing, even as our heroine wondered what he was doing. They have great chemistry together and the resulting steam and HEA reflect that. Overall, the story made for a fun evening read and I look forward to more from this author.

Well I just found another author to add to my favorites and must read list! This was my first book I’ve read by Ava and I’m really anxious and excited to check out her other books! I love mafia romances, but add in a stepbrother trope and yep I’m definitely in!
I loved Knox, he was so over the top possessive, obsessive and his jealousy was absolutely insane, but damn how he treated Serena! It was swoon worthy and had me wanting more! And the spice between them was insanely hot! I definitely recommend this book! And I can’t wait for more from Ava!

This was Knox and Sirena’s book. In Vegas, everything is a game. He's been playing a game of war with his father his whole life. Every move is designed to make his life harder. Stress from this game has taken years off his life, but it’ll never be enough. He’s a charming, sadistic monster, spreading his misery for fun. Now, he’s marrying another woman ignorant of his maniacal abuse. And he won’t stand for it, and I intend to put an end to it. But when he sees his new stepsister...things change. It was an entertaining read. And am voluntarily leaving my review.

Knox and Sirena
Knox was first introduced in the first book.He acts WAY older than 19.This is insta- love and a little OTT.The first thing he does is kidnap her in public and lock her away in his penthouse apartment.His Father,Rowen,is married ,again and abuses his women horribly.Knox is trying to protect Serina from him.Preppy, G Child and Nutso are in this book as well and very entertaining.I like the epilogues in this series.The families they have make me smile.Nutso as a babysitter is a frightening thought.Good book.On to #3.

This thrilling story kept me glued to the pages from start to finish.

Couldn't make it past page 18 but it's not cuz it's horrible I'm just not in the mood to read a story like this where the mother didn't take in to consideration the daughters feelings before hand or the 2 week thing. Its a little to much for me right now and my mental exhaustion can't handle it maybe another day...

Knox is Sirena’s new stepbrother that becomes attached to her. He does everything to protect her. They have chemistry from the start. Knox knows his dad isn’t a good man with women and he feels even more protective over Sirena. This is a quick read but really good.

Very quick book easy to read, I read it all in one 2 hr flight! Relationship developed incredibly quickly over a really short time span which was crazy even by mafia standards! But a really enjoyable read and I loved the characters and how they just clicked

Sirena is Emilia's daughter and when Knox meets his new stepsister his whole life changes. He instantly knows she is His and nothing will stop him from claiming his woman. Knox was obsessed, but sassy Sirena won't make it too easy for the cocky but sweet mobster🥰🥰 Instalove, mafia romance, sweet, steamy romantic and safe with a great HEA 😍😍😍😍
