A good story

Satisfaction by Allen is a book full of action and adventure. It is 75 pages long and tells what Sean Murphy dedicated himself to after his retirement from the Army Rangers.
It is written in the first person, which gives the reading a greater sense of realism. The chapters are short, allowing the story to develop more quickly and avoiding monotony.
What caught my attention the most is that the book is descriptive without falling into exaggeration, which often leads to morbidity. Although the story may seem short, it is interesting and definitely a very good option to enjoy during leisure time.
It is a book that can be read calmly, despite being full of action and adventure. It is my first book by Allen, but it will definitely not be my last. I really liked his writing style.
It is a book that can be recommended with the certainty that it will not disappoint.

Sean Murphy, retired from the Army Rangers, goes to work for his former CO, Colonel Anderson. Anderson’s company, Eyeball Inc, does black bag work for various government agencies. It’s a morally murky career choice, but Murphy finds that he is uniquely qualified for it. However, choosing to work for Anderson comes with more than a few risks.

In this book, Murphy finds himself in one dangerous situation after another. His globetrotting adventures find him going head-to-head with drug dealers, enraged North Koreans, and cartel kingpins. In the spirit of Jack Reacher and similar fare, this novel introduces the reader to a man with a particular set of skills who has no compunctions about using them in any way he sees fit.

An enthralling story
“Satisfaction” is a compelling novel penned by Don Allen, which revolves around Sean Murphy, a retired officer who decides to work with his former Commanding Officer in his company. Sean is very good at looking for and finding the bad guys. He’s sent to different places to do his job. Some of the tasks are dangerous but for him, his job becomes an adventure and he has good reasons for doing that- he’s helping other people who are in trouble or have someone missing.
I liked the way the events unfold throughout the pages. The character is a complex, dynamic and brave figure who shows the way some officers work for the general welfare. I thoroughly recommend it.
