Fighting Cancer With Christ

My cancer began with a tropical disease called filariasis, a parasite that came into my body through a mosquito bite while I was preaching in the tropics. I had cancer five times and know that I am enjoying physical health again by the wondrous intervention of the supernatural healing virtue of Jesus Christ. However, I know you know many Christian brothers and sisters who believed and prayed for healing from cancer, bu the cancer won out and they have had a premature departure to heaven. My people perish from lack of knowledge, the Word says. We need more knowledge, both in the realm of the physical to avoid the trap of cancer, and then in the Word of God that we might be expert in bringing the Word of God through JesUs Christ to those who are afflicted. So let us press on to victory through Jesus Christ. Amen.

My great grandpa wrote this book. It was incredibly moving to hear herb talk about how religion affected him and some of the miracles he experienced firsthand. Him talking about the complications about my grandfathers birth brought me to tears a few times.
