This book is intended to be read after Captured Bride which is Book One of The West Coast Syndicate series.
I feel as though I am a ghost that haunts the cavernous halls of this place that I call home. My days are filled with the pain of my past. I desperately wish to move forward.
After seeing my little brother find happiness and partnership with his wife, I realize it is something I want for myself. I tempt fate with my associate’s sister, even though I won’t meet her until we are standing at the altar.

Good book
The errors in spelling and punctuation is very distracting, though.
It really should have been checked before it was released. The first book had some, as well, but this had more.

Kae Knight is making the plot more complex and interesting with each novel. Kudos!
