Mountain Haven #5

Inescapable Love

Rate this book
After being the rebound one too many times, I accepted love wasn’t for me...
Once, I'd been a hopeless romantic. But getting tossed aside time and time again made me jaded. Happily ever after wasn't for me. Instead, I focused on being my niece's favorite uncle. It was enough.

Until Natalie and her daughter.

Recently divorced, she’s determined to open a bed and breakfast and hires me to renovate it. I should be focused on the job, but instead I’m distracted by the undeniable attraction between us.

When a late-night water leak brings me face-to-face with Natalie wearing nothing but barely-there wet lingerie, I can’t ignore my desires any longer. She and her daughter remind me of the family I'd always wanted but had given up on.

Is this relationship the real thing I’ve always dreamed of, or am I once again a rebound?

4.5 star review of Inescapable Love (Mountain Haven #5) by Lea Coll

I love stories set in small towns and was wonderful being back in Telluride, Colorado. Add in that our heroine is a single mother and for me Inescapable Love was a win/win for me.

Recently divorced Natalie and her daughter Delaney plan to open a bed and breakfast and she hires grumpy Mac to do the renovation work. I loved Mac, such a totally swoon worthy man who ticked all the boxes for me. I loved how independent and focused Natalie is and it was entertaining to watch their relationship develop.

The fact that Mac is a romantic at heart made my heart melt. Both Natalie and Mac have baggage from the past and they need to come to terms with it before they can embark on a relationship. The question is will they be prepared to take the chance or will fear hold them back?

Inescapable Love is a well written, romantic, at times emotional story that left me with a smile on my face.

A perfect 5* rating for this perfect story, each book in this series gets better and better, each couple steal a little bit more of my heart, and Inescapable Love has managed to steal the biggest piece. I loved the little cross-over into the couples of Annapolis, and as always Lea Coll delivers a polished, engrossing, mesmerising read.

’I wanted him. I wanted to lose myself in him, no matter how irresponsible it was.’

Recently divorced Natalie has returned to her home town of Haven with her young daughter Delaney to open a B&B, but before this can happen the house needs renovation, enter Mac and his family-run construction company, there is a spark from the start, even when they are at loggerheads, Mac has had his heart broken a couple of times and is weary of ever going into a relationship again, but his family have adopted Natalie and Delaney and Mac cannot help falling for both Natalie and Delaney, the growing attraction is played out perfectly, the chemistry is hot, and I loved watching the relationship grow between Mac and, Delaney, as with any Lea Coll romance expect one or two bumps in the road but that makes the HEA even more special, and thank you, Ms Coll, for the wonderful extra bonus epilogue.

‘Natalie was worth the risk of a broken heart. If I didn’t pursue this, I’d never if she was meant for me.’

Inescapable Love, the latest addition to The Mountain Haven series by Lea Coll, touched my heart in a way that only a truly captivating story can. As a devoted fan of Coll's works, I must admit that at first, I had reservations about the familiarity of the plot. However, my worries quickly dissipated when I realized that the author had expertly intertwined two worlds, crafting a tale that was both familiar and refreshingly unique.

From the very beginning, the palpable attraction between Natalie and Mac pulled me into their emotional journey. Their resistance to their budding feelings, despite their undeniable chemistry, added a layer of depth and anticipation that kept me engrossed. Natalie, navigating a major life change for herself and her daughter, and Mac, who had given up on finding love, both tugged at my heartstrings with their internal struggles and vulnerabilities.

A shining star in Inescapable Love was the character of Delaney, Natalie's daughter. As a lover of single parent stories, I was overjoyed to see Delaney take on a significant role. She became the glue that brought Natalie and Mac closer, acting as a catalyst for them to open their hearts to love once again. Witnessing their relationship with Delaney flourish and intertwine with their own budding romance filled me with warmth and a sense of hope.

Mac and Natalie's relationship started off on a rufer side. When she hired his family's company to renovate her B&B, they bickered about every decision. But the chemistry was too hard to ignore and soon they were consumed by it. But her dream of opening the Bed and breakfast, has put a strain on their relationship. And his track record has giving him trust issues, so when she pulls back, her lets her go.

But being away is not the right answer and with a little time apart they realize that nothing matters as much as being together.

This story had me teary-eyed and i was rooting for our MC's to find their way back to each other. And when they finally did, i was happy for them to start living life like a family.

Natalie and Mac’s story is both poignant and endearing. Both have been put through an emotional wringer by their exes. In self-preservation mode, they have erected sturdy walls around their hearts. Neither are looking for a relationship or love, but Fate or a divine entity has decided to gift them with the opportunity for both. They both have felt tinglings of awareness and sparks of desire when they have interacted as he renovates her newly acquired B&B, but have also failed to act on those feelings because of their relationship histories. Her cheating and emotionally distant ex did a number on Natalie’s self esteem and fostered her need to be independent and in control. Mac has always wanted a wife and family of his own, but his failed relationships have made him feel that that dream is out of reach and that he is meant to be alone.

It is Natalie’s daughter, Delaney, that brings Mac and Natalie together. Her innocent questions, her tender feelings and her eagerness for his company easily win over Mac’s heart. Who could resist a man who rescues a little girl’s heart from breaking? Certainly not Natalie, though she can’t help but wonder if he will end up breaking her daughter’s heart too, especially when the renovation will be over soon and he will need to make an effort to see Delaney. His reticence to move beyond friendship with Natalie is noticed not only by his family and friends, but also Natalie. He is reluctant to let the guards down around his heart, but eventually he decides to take the risk of being hurt again. As their story continues, doubts, fears and trust issues crop up to challenge their commitment to each other and make them question if love and a future together are worth fighting for.

This author has given readers characters that are true-to-life, vulnerable, flawed and so endearing. Their story is fascinating, engrossing and memorable. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series! I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

This is a 4.5 stars for me.

This is the newest story in the Mountain Haven series and is the story of Mac and Natalie. These are two people who have baggage, a hesitation to trust and a doubt if love could be in their future. Both of these characters have to learn how to put their past hurts behind them if they hope to have a happy future. Each one has difficulties they need to overcome and ultimately become better people thanks to the love and support they receive from their family and close friends.

Mac has been hurt in the past and even though he wants nothing more than to be married with a family, he believes that it’s not in the cards for him. Natalie is healing from a recent betrayal and divorce and simply wants to build a new life for she and her daughter. She isn’t interested in anything but her new business. While they both feel intense attraction to one another they don’t think a relationship is possible but work at one anyway.

While the relationship between Mac and Natalie is the main story, it’s the relationship between Mac and Natalie’s daughter Delaney that completely stole my heart! Mac is just destined to be a dad and it shows in everything he does even upon their first meeting. The love and sweetness that he shows her, especially for the Daddy-Daughter dance is just adorable!

The story is very heartfelt and many times felt very real to me, especially their miscommunication issues. Their communication issues were very frustrating and ultimately caused them many problems.

As always, it is wonderful to catch up with previous couples and see how they are doing. I loved seeing Alice with her new ‘voice’ and making new friends. This was a beautiful story between two flawed people who figured out how to make their own dreams come true! Cannot wait to see what’s up with Tyler!

Oh my what a sweet and heartfelt read. I thoroughly enjoyed Natalie and Mac’s beautiful story. I fell so deeply in love with their story. They are the perfect main characters with amazing supporting characters. Especially Delaney. She just melted my heart with her sweet innocence and warmth.

Natalie has taken a huge step moving her and her daughter to Colorado from South Carolina. Her divorce is final and she just can’t take his family anymore. So she moves them and buys an old Victorian house to convert into a Bead and Breakfast. She is taking a huge step and is scared it will all blow up in her face.

Mac has taken on the project of the renovations to the BNB. He worked overtime getting the owners suite ready for the single mother and her daughter. He just wanted to make things easier on her, but he didn’t count on his attraction to her or the head butting that they do at every moment. Can he open himself up to her after all the hurt in his past?

This was a heartfelt and endearing book. There is so much love pouring out in every direction throughout the entire book. Both main characters are stubborn as well as loving, caring and supportive. There is an internal struggle between them that they must overcome.

Lea Coll writes the most sweetest and beautiful stories. Her characters are full of heart and encouragement. Each one has a beautiful soul and soulful story to tell. Her books have so much live and hope in them you can’t help but fall in love. Each character has a difficult and hard situation to overcome and end up a better person for the journey they travel. I love her books and can’t wait to read the next one.

Every book in this series gets better and better and in Inescapable Love MS. Coll gives us a beautifully written small town, single parent romance that is a must-read. She had me hooked right at the beginning with the characters, the family that opened their home and hearts to a strong single mother and a wonderful little girl that you cannot help but fall in love with. Add in a somewhat grumpy man that is sexy, strong and wears his heart on his sleeve and you have a 5-star story.

Natalie and her daughter Delaney have moved back to Telluride after Natalie's divorce. Natalie is determined to open a B&B but the house she purchased needed a lot of work. In walks Mac and all her thinking of just wanting to focus on her daughter and her B&B goes right out the window. A leaking kitchen faucet and a late night of work, sees the two of them fighting the attraction that has been building since Mac walked into her home. Mac is guarding his heart because of his history with women that have broken it a few too many times. When Mac loves, he loves with every fibre of his being. Add in a sweet and lovable little girl that easily has Mav wrapped around his finger and the spark that they have been fighting ignites into a fire that burns bright. Mac's family has just as big of a heart as he does and welcomes Natalie and Delaney into their lives.

I absolutely loved this book. The push/pull that happens between Natalie and Mac is beautiful to watch it turn into a true love of two soulmates, one that was meant to be. Pick up Natalie and Mac's love story and fall in love with the people of Telluride, especially Natalie, Delaney and Mac.

Natalie and Mac will bring a lot of feelings to the forefront of this tale. They’re both afraid to want more out of life. He’s been burned. Heck, she’s been burned. But sometimes the heart gets to make the call about the future. Luckily, this time the hearts want the same thing, as long as they can align with logic to push fear out of the way.

Mac almost made me angry because I was worried he may be playing a game or two. But then the more we get to know him, the easier it is to see just how badly he wants this for himself. He deserves this. But he needs to put hurts aside to figure out how to have it, too. And the same goes for Natalie. She’s afraid of failure. She’s so scared that she’ll lose herself and drop a ball or three. And she almost does drop one of the most important things along the way. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not all on her. Someone else could maybe handle his communication skills a little better. But they have Mac’s brothers and Natalie’s friends to help them find a happy balance, as well as better ways to communicate when it seems that the whole day is chaos from start to finish.

Once Natalie and Mac find their way to making this all work, all is right in their world. But what is Tyler’s issue with a certain Wilde woman? I’m pretty sure we’ll find out soon enough, and I’m also pretty sure it’s going to be something to make me angry before it’s all okay again. And yet, I can’t wait!

I enjoyed reading Natalie and Mac’s beautiful story in Inescapable Love by Lea Coll, book five in the Mountain Haven series, a sweet and heartfelt read. He just wanted to make things easier for her, but didn’t anticipate his attraction to her or the head butting that they do at every moment. After all the hurt in his past he isn’t sure he can open himself up to her, her daughter, or the love that flows and surrounds them.

Full of love, passion, devotion, romance, sizzling chemistry and forgiveness, this heartwarming book will grab your heart early on and not let go until the last page is turned. After dealing with a cheating husband Natalie wants a honest man who will love her daughter. The more time Natalie and Mac spend together the more they fit together. The relationship between Mac and Natalie’s daughter Delaney was swoon worthy and downright delightful. I highly recommend Inescapable Love to other readers.

This is such a fun romance.

Natalie, divorced single mom, moves to Telluride to open a bed and breakfast. Her ex-husband is selfish and uninvolved with their daughter, so she is determined to start a business that will provide for them both and make the best possible life for her daughter. She's intelligent, independent and devoted to her family and her dream.

Mac, the contractor heading up the rehab of the old home she is converting into a bed and breakfast, is convinced that he's doomed to lead the single life after two long term relationships went spectacularly wrong, blindsiding him. However, he can't help his attraction to Natalie. As he gets to know her daughter, he falls into love with her and the idea of finally gaining the family he's always wanted. Burned before, he's a bit uncertain at times and guards his heart closely. This leads to some misunderstandings and inconsistent behaviors on his part.

Natalie, hurt by her husband's indifference and his family's steadfast support of his selfish personality, is guarded as well. She is convinced that she can only rely on herself moving forward - that includes getting the B&B off the ground, caring for her daughter and making a new life. Mac worms his way into her heart when she sees how he treats her daughter, however. They embark on a physical relationship, but how Mac cares for her, respects and provides a male role model for her daughter and how loving he is wins her over.

Both are scarred, Mac begins the story as a ridiculously grumpy guy, but by the end both have opened themselves back up to new relationships and have chosen to be happy and together.

Mac's over the top grumpiness and his rediscovery of what it means to be happy make for a great romance read. He's balanced by Natalie's forward-looking, cheerful nature and the joining of Natalie, Mac and their daughter into a new family unit are a great read.

Five stars for this small town romance.

This is an honest, voluntary review of an ARC of the story.

4.5 STARS

Natalie got divorced over a year ago after her husband left her and moved away with his new girlfriend. Her ex up and left her and their daughter, so Natalie wanted to start over somewhere fresh. Which is how she found herself buying a B&B in Telluride, her hometown.

Mac is the lead contractor on the B&B project and hasn't been able to get the B&B owner out of his mind. He knows that he needs to stay away because he has been hurt in the past and he also doesn't want to mix business with pleasure.

But one night when the water breaks, things change for Natalie and Mac. And things go from friendly to steamy shortly after. But will Mac's insecurities get the best of him or will he be able to move forward with a new woman in his life?

I loved these characters, but specifically Mac and Delaney, Natalie's daughter, and their relationship. He was so sweet with her from their first interaction and the father/daughter bonding they were doing was just adorable - especially the father/daughter dance. I literally swooned at that! Loved seeing characters from previous books and series in this one (shoutout to Savannah and Noah from her Maryland series - always great to see them).

Can't wait to read Kylie and Tyler's book next. I feel some angst brewing there that is going to make a great story!

Mac has not found he one. All he wants is love and a family. But the women he has dated are not looking for that. The one he thought could be the one only turned out to be using him and went back to her ex. He has accepted that he will never find the one and his dreams of a family and a white picket fence are just that, dreams.
Natalie is newly divorced and not a single mom. Her ex cheated on her and moved to another state to be with his new girlfriend. Never cared that he left his daughter. Natalie decided to go back to where she grew up and open a B&B.
She didn’t have time for a relationship, let alone fall in love. But sometimes we have no control of love. It happens when it is supposed to happen. Mac fell hard for Natalie and Delaney. I think he fell in love with Delaney first. He saw her as a child he would have. He treated her as a father should treat his daughter. So unlike how her real dad treated her. But he is so scared of having his heart broken. His brother’s always tease him that he wears his heart on his sleeve and is the romantic one out of the three of them.
Will this end like all the rest or will he finally get his happily ever after that he has always wanted. Will his dreams finally come true?

Natalie and her daughter Delaney move back to Natalie’s hometown after her divorce from Carter and she is determined to make a new life for them while running her business she always dreamed of owning one day .. a B & B. Except when she moved from South Carolina back to Colorado she had no family .. her mom and dad retired and moved out of Colorado and her ex’s family is from South Carolina ..

Can she make a go of it with just a hand full of friends to help her get her business off the ground or will a certain Construction Business Owner help in more ways then .. ONE !! In walk Mac .. one of the owners of the construction company doing the renovations of the B & B and he has his sites set on a little girl and her mom when he knows in his heart he is t right for them. BUT sometimes we can’t control what the heart wants or if he even wants to stop it .. BUT he won’t be anyone’s rebound because of course he has been burned before and your heart will melt for ALL OF THEM !!

This on statement of Telluride Colorado was a world win .. fast past and loving all around for them ALL .. they just didn’t know it !! Love it !! Seeing them change between these charters even thought they THINK it isn’t right because it is too soon .. LOVE knows no boundaries !! Amazing read !!

Inescapable Love is a fantastic read from a favored author and the next book in her Mountain Haven series set in Telluride, Colorado. It’s a standalone title, but as a lover of book series, I highly recommend reading them all in order. I’m a fan of Lea Coll’s writing, so I feel like I say the same things repeatedly, but something about it continues to resonate with me. She consistently delivers a cast of well-written and well-developed characters who are easy to connect with, making her stories that much richer for this reader.

So many romance books focus more on the growth of the heroine, and while Nicole did have some growing to do (she had a lot to learn about setting boundaries with her ex, who I couldn’t have hated more), Mac’s growth seemed to be more of the focus in this story, which made it more profound. This elevated the plot above so many others and had me more invested than I usually am in contemporary romance books. Also, Mac’s devotion to Nicole’s daughter was simply swoony! Inescapable Love was full of emotion as these two moved from friends to lovers and beyond. I thoroughly enjoyed myself from start to finish, even when I wanted to smack Nicole for letting her ex dictate too much until she finally stood her ground.

With the ending of her marriage Natalie needs to distance her and her daughter Delaney from the situation so she returns to Telluride where she has purchased a home that she plans to renovate into a Bed & Breakfast. She doesn’t believe she is ready to let another man into her life but there is something about Mac that is having her second guessing that decision.

Mac has been burnt by love in the past and doesn’t want to repeat the experience however he will do whatever he can to help with the renovations and to ease the transition that Natalie and her daughter are going through. The only problem is that he is conflicted between his head telling him to push them away and his heart telling him to pull them closer.

This is a heartwarming romance between two people who are cautious because of their pasts which causes some upset along the way. They are surrounded by a great cast of secondary characters who show them that they are exactly what the other needs if they are willing to open their hearts to the life they could have together.

In this amazing addition to the series, Mac Fletcher has always wanted his own family, but has been rejected by the women who he believed had wanted the same. As the contractor for her B&B, he is deeply attracted to Natalie Anderson and finds her young daughter, Delaney, delightful. Is he setting himself up for heartbreak one more time? Is there any chance that Natalie is interested in a second chance at love? Natalie has to make the B&B a success and is stretched thin between the construction, her daughter, her ex who has moved on without concern for Delaney and now the handsome and unbelievably kind Mac. Natalie has always wanted to be a part of a large family and Mac’s family is wonderful, but is she ready to open up her heart one more time? I loved that fact that although Natalie also expressed her feelings, it was Mac who was able to open up to his brothers as well as Natalie. A beautifully written and heartfelt love story! I’ve been waiting for this book ever since Mac and Natalie seemed like they couldn’t stand to be in the same room in Tempting Love! This book basically picks up Mac and Natalie’s story from the end of Tempting Love.
The chemistry and tension between Mac and Natalie was very obvious. They had this smoldering slow burn at first, until they both work through their feelings.
Mac, who was so much sweeter in this book, had some hang ups about relationships after being hurt repeatedly in the past. It was tough seeing him struggle with his feelings and shouldering the blame for other people’s choices. Seeing him with Delaney was completely swoon worthy!
I really liked Natalie and even felt bad for what Carter and his family had put her and Delaney through. But…I wasn’t thrilled at how she became so wrapped up in the B&B at the expense of everything else.
Overall, I really loved this book and especially loved how it ended! I can’t wait for the next book!

Mountain Haven is one of my favourite small town settings and with this book, Lea Coll takes us back there.

𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 is the embodiment of what I love to see in my romance reads. It’s a small town, single parent, opposites attract romance. Natalie is an incredible woman. Fresh out of a bad marriage, with a child to care for, she has no other choice but to be strong. Her plan to open a B&B and raise her daughter, Delaney, keeps her motivated. Mac is the grumpiest of heroes but in an endearing way. Once you get to know him and see his interactions with Maggie (his niece) and Delaney, you can’t help but fall a little bit in love with him. And then I fell completely for him when he stepped up and took Delaney to the Daddy-Daughter dance.

Natalie, Delaney and Mac (who has earned a spot on my Favourite Book Boyfriends list) make 𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 the unputdownable romance read that it is. TBR and Enjoy!

Natalie and her daughter Delaney move to Telluride and she is working to get a bed and breakfast going. She hires grumpy Mac to help her with renovations. There are sparks between the two of them from the beginning, even when they are snarking at each other. They both have baggage from the past: Natalie with her ex and Mac has been the rebound guy so many times that he's jaded on relationships. Mac is also amazing with Delaney, answering her questions and spending time with her. He seems to understand that she needs someone like him in her life and the more time that he spends with her (and Natalie), the more he wants them to be HIS family.

I love Lea's characters in that they are real and have real feelings, emotions and interactions with people. It feels like you could know them in real life as friends and family and you want to shake them and say, do you realize what you might be throwing away?? Those are the best kinds of characters because they make spending time with them so worth it!

I love The Mountain Haven series, but I must admit that I first thought that I already read this story. Then I realized that the author didn’t write a similar story, she brought the two words together, that was lovely since Crazy for You was my first Lea Coll book and one of top my favorite single mother books.
Natalie and Mac were attracted to each other from the very beginning, but they both tried to resist it. She was in the middle of a big change for her and her daughter, while Mac gave up finding his other half.
Delaney was a great part of the story, which made me happy. I love single parent books where the child is another main character. She was the glue, or the catalyst for these two to finally give love another chance. I understood Natalie and her need to prove herself with this project she took on, but I was a little disappointed in Mac. I understand he was let down by women in the past, but he could’ve been more trusting. His constant distrust made the story feel stall at times. It was like waiting for him to finally open his eyes and see that Natalie loved him and wants a future together.
A beautiful story about giving love a second chance.

This series just gets better and better and this fifth book in the series does not disappoint. Natalie has returned to her childhood town of Telluride after she divorced her husband and needed a fresh start. So she decides to buy an old victorian house on the Main Street and make it a B&B. Enter Mac, her handsome contractor, who is kind, hard working and extremely hot! But both of these two come with baggage. Trust, communication, and commitment issues and then throw a nine year old and a puppy into the mix and this book is heartwarming with characters that feel so real you can really relate to them and their struggles. I love these small town, family books that integrate characters from previous books, so you can keep up with their lives, but despite this, the books can be read as a standalone!
I love Ms. Coll's style of writing and can't wait for more from her.

I have been waiting for this romance for a while and it surely did not disappoint. Natalie Anderson is a beautiful curvy divorcee of one year who has moved to her hometown, Telluride, Colorado. At first she doubts herself because her parents no longer live here and her high school friends have all moved away but her construction firm is bossed by the handsome Mac Fletcher who is gruff but a softie inside. His warm hearted large family is welcoming to Natalie and her sweet 9 year old daughter, Delaney and Mac falls in love with both of them. His taking Delaney to the father daughter dance is the sweetest thing and Delaney loves him as does Natalie though she and Mac are slow to surrender to each other. When they do it is hot and steamy. A lovely read indeed. Received this arc and have voluntarily reviewed.

Inescapable Love by Lea Coll
You guys are going to love Mac and Natalie in this emotional fun read. Natalie is a single mom and recently divorced and she decided to buy a B & B. However that B & B comes with lots of renovations so she hires someone to help. Here we meet Mr. Grumpy and sexy Mac. He is grumpy and not open to anything resembling love. I loved that they had this really strong attraction but they both had things they had to work out. Her she was fresh from her divorce and a little afraid to open up herself to love again and him after his last relationship he was guarded and was also scared to open his heart up. I love how he was with Delaney which for a single mom that was huge for Natalie. I really enjoyed this book and the characters the author gave us and would highly recommend.

This was another great addition to this series! Natalie has gotten a divorce and she and her daughter have moved to Telluride with the hopes of renovating a place to open a B & B . Mac is in charge of the renovations. Both have feelings for each other but are determined to stay clear. Natalie can't fail and doesn't have time for love. Mac has been burned in the past and won't let anyone get close to him. Every time one took a step closer, the other would take two steps back. Neither one had great communication skills and it caused a lot of problems. I really enjoyed reading their journey to both personal happiness and happiness together. Can't wait for more!

Thank you for the privilege of reading this book!

Natalie and her daughter Delaney move back to her home town to open a B&B and start over from her divorce. Mac is the contractor renovating the B&B, someone who has been burned by love and is trying to plan for a life alone. But meeting Natalie and Delaney makes he long for what he has always wanted - love and a family. But they need to both work their their insecurities about love and success to see if they can make it work. I liked the characters in this book, especially Mac, who is a sweet, loving guy.

I have read many books by this author and other books in this series and liked them all. This would work as a stand alone but I recommend the other books as well!

I read an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Oh I loved this book, especially because this type of trope can be predictable, and it showed all the signs, and yet the story kept me on my toes and was completely unpredictable.

Natalie and Mac are down to earth, as close to real humans, as two book characters can get. They have fears, dreams, insecurities and they change throughout the book as they adapt to the situation they are in in a way I haven’t really seen before. Mac is absolutely adorable and I loved seeing his growth throughout the book, especially towards the end. Natalie and Delaney are a great single mother duo and I loved watching them interact together and with Mac!

I was so sad to finish this book because I could have kept reading their story for hours, but I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

Lots of emotions and attitudes. Mac has been burnt by past relationships and is now determined love is not for him, despite being a man in waiting for love, marriage, family man. He is attracted to the woman he is working for but keeps his distance. Natalie is divorced, mother old 9 year old Delaney, ex cheating husband and now renovating her house to become a B&B owner, self sufficient, stubborn.
Can these stubborn individuals become a couple and give each with what they need..there are a lot of things to overcome, especially being honest over behaviours, feelings, worries and thoughts when things get tough.
Typical Lea Coll story writing - relationship taking the rough with the smooth and the inevitable HEA
