This book was short and sweet about a widowed man, Abram, his mother and two children moving in next door to a dating app developer, Meadow. They meet on her app and although Meadow sends a ton of mixed signals with a bit of immaturity, they still end up having their HEA. I liked the progression of the relationship. It starts off hot and heavy, then slows down with him being still interested but not wanting to play games while she teases him pretty much constantly. She does end up pregnant but that’s what happens when you have a lot of unprotected sex (she thinks because her mother only had her, that she must be infertile and passed it along to Meadow, dumb logic but I get it) so it shouldn’t have been that shocking. Meadow and Abram’s mom, Janis, get off to a rough start but they eventually work it out. I liked the book mainly for Abram’s character. He didn’t play the head games I see in a lot of books when Meadow sent mixed signals.

I really wanted to like this story, I loved the premise of it. I struggled however, to get through it. I loved the MMC. He was a fireman widower with two twin 10 yo kids and just moved into a new house with his mom & kids. He was sweet, caring, protective and many other great traits. The FMC however, was fickle, not very thoughtful. She’d say she just kept stringing him along and hurting his feelings.
I’m glad things work out in the end. Although admittedly, the end was so sudden, that when I saw the epilogue start, I was like, “huh?” It definitely jumped out of nowhere.

Abram has moved with his twin ten-year-olds and his mother. It's been years since his wife died and he's ready for love and companionship again. His mother is also ready to find a good man, and there's this new matchmaking app being advertised locally that has them both curious. Turns out their new neighbor, Meadow, is both the creator of the matchmaking app AND a match for Abram. Unfortunately Abram's mother is not impressed with their neighbor, and the drama begins...
Some entertaining twists and turns in this sweet tale. The firefighter is a great leading man. The matchmaking app is a lovely feature, and pretty easy to grasp by description. I got through the book in an evening. It's an easy and fun read with a lovely HEA.

Abram and Meadow meet through an app she developed, and they hit it off. He is a single dad Firefighter whose mother lives with him. This charming story is filled with drama as these two embark on what looks like promising relationship. When two pink lines get thrown in the mix will it heat things up between them. This story drew me in and had me in their corner to get their chance for happiness.

This was a Firefighter, Single Dad, Neighbours, Age Gap and Surprise Pregnancy Trope. This was a pleasant read.
Abrams is a single dad and has decided he is finally ready to move on. Meadow is a dating app creator. She decides she wants to try her successful app and find happiness for herself. The app matches them and they go on date. They have an instant crackling chemistry. They have a lot of pull and push, mostly from Meadows side. I loved Abrams, he was perfect dad and gentlemen too.
Characters were relatable although Meadow was a bit naive and negative when it came to some things. Abram is wonderful as he works as a firefighter and takes care of his mother and child. His relationship with Meadow requires some work but overall, it is spicy and sweet. It was an enjoyable read.

I loved the story, the plot and the characters but oh boy was that an abrupt ending. Yahoo! One minute they’re thanking each other and whatnot and then “The End” title shows up like excuse meeee!! I thought it was joke, I needed more 😩😩 so sad it ended this way.
What a smart and determined young lady. I can see her point when all you do is seem to find everyone else's happy ever after it can be hard to see you own.

This is an enjoyable and quick read. The plot centers around Abram, Meadow, and a new dating app. An app that works maybe too good at bringing people together.
