ok so did this book have racing? meh. somehow the plot and racing were directly weaved into each other and yet they still rarely raced. you expect me to believe that they are racing at a very important and official event and they like never practiced. maybe it’s because i’m in the motorsport community so i notice the fictitiousness of it but this is just my opinion.

removing how all of that from perspective, the plot was decent but to say the least i am possibily (and that is a big if) reading the next book in the series and it is just because in like the mmc from his appearance in the series.

✧ . * — 𝘱𝘳𝘦-𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥

don’t know how i feel after reading the synopsis but i don’t wanna judge too hard, too fast. as i said in my review of book 1, i just want to see more racing alongside everything else.

This somehow gave me Beauty and the Beast vibes. The ending felt a bit rushed but other than that it was great!

Wrecked Love is a new favourite of mine!!!

Ash and Fox’s love story is an interesting one. The story begins with us readers meeting Ash. After wrecking and her life going crazy, she decides to go out for a night. While out, she finds of her ex boyfriend is coming and she has to leave. As she leaves, she is attacked and robbed by a random stranger causing her to run for her life. Fox is lost after him and the crew went driving. He pulls over and is trying to understand where he is and what’s wrong with his car. He hears a scream, so he helps protect the girl running for her life. Fox and Ash’s lives will be changed forever.

I truly love this book and this series!! Fox as a character is so complex. I love it!!!! He has over come so much. After the trauma he suffers the night Ash and him meet, his rejection of Ash is so understandable, yet he overcomes it and moves forward. Ash has been through so much. Her wreck, her ex boyfriend and how everyone told her she would never be able to race again. Ash’s fears are high, yet actively is working on them. Her resilience is so beautiful and the fact she is always ready to fight for what she believes is just perfect. I love Ash as a character and can’t wait to read the other books in this series!!!

TWs:
- Abuse & Toxic relationships
- Violence
- SA (Just un-consensual kisses)
- Gaslighting
- Car crash
- Fake friends

Besides those it’s a great read

Thank you to Booksiren for this amazing book!!

I got an ARC of this book and it was soo good. I love both Fox and Ash so much. The way this book felt like a slowburn because of how much back and forth there was between was literally my favorite thing ever. The scene where Fox listens to mastermind literally had me screaming as a swiftie. This found family is also so cute. I just love all of them. I cant wait to see which one of them gets their book next!!

I loved the idea of the tropes and everything but overall was just frustrated. Please for the love, learn how to communicate about your feelings instead of whatever this was. They went back and forth so many times for no reason, a simple therapy appointment would've helped. Through it all, I love a groveling man on his knees.

Editing, editing, editing

I really enjoyed this, BUT one of my biggest pet peeves is when "too" is used instead of "to," so it lost marks because of that. I liked Fox and Ash as a couple, even though it felt like it took them ages to get their shit together. The action was good and the smut was ok. I'll probably read the next one.

Have I just sat and binged the second book in the series in just one day? Yes, yes I have.

Fox and Ashton have just become my favourite of the Crew but when I tell you, I love all of these characters with my whole heart, I’m not lying.

The pages were flying by and it didn’t feel like I’ve just read a 400 page book. The fast paced plot, the racing, the found family, the suspense element and the friendships between all the guys and girls have me absolutely hooked and I can’t wait to read Scout, Jax and Kye’s stories.

As much as I want to see her fall to her knees, she asks me to fall to mine infront of the entire world and I do with damn pleasure. I would every dam time.

💛Racing Crew
💛Found family
💛He saves her
💛Forced proximity
💛secret identity

Is it an amazing book? No. But it is entertaining enough to give it at least 3.5 stars. I particularly loved how Fox learned to love his scars —both physical and psychological. However, I will say that it had some unnecessary drama tbh.

I love the crew. The found family aspect made this story for me. I liked the spice. It was like bdsm light. Fox had a really hard time with his scar. He was so hot and cold with Ash. It got old quickly. It's annoying when a lack of communication is the reason for all the bs in a book. David was a thieving gaslighting psycho. It was crazy her dad kept siding with him.

Why are they so good

Tbh I feel really lazy to write a huge review

I absolutely loved this book some things got on my nerves like how he would keep blaming her for his scar but like he finally got over it so i finally was like good bc this would have been 4 if that didn’t happen
The books always have a huge plot twists at the end and what happened to her was crazy but I’m glad they had a happily ever after in the enddd

okay i know my rating is kinda harsh but it had to be done…i liked this book don’t get me wrong but it seemed a little repetitive in the big middle chunk of it. Definitely some highlights tho (Jax) i freaking love him sm more, but i do wish Fox acted more like his book 1 self. I do adore Ash tho! plot holes were there and im glad i finished it, it was getting kinda exhausting.

hard headed man!

The sexy playboy was really taken for a ride! I knew I liked Fox in book 1, always there for his crew and there to be the one to lean on when times got tough. When the accident happened I gasped out loud, wasn’t expecting it at all! It’s funny how people view “pretty people” having all the confidence, but Fox showed us that was so far from the truth. Not knowing who he was without the pretty face was heart breaking. Facing some honest truths was harddddd. Then walks in a woman who was trying to find her way, but knew her worth. These two connected in a way that is the definition of kismet! I thought it was going to be a “hero” kind of love, but they proved me wrong! Foxs’ temper tantrums was exhausting! Pull your head of out your… but when he finally did- 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽❤️ onto book 3!

I had my eyes on Fox in the first book knowing that he would be one of my favorites and omg… I love him.

After one scary night, Fox saves a girl he doesn’t even know the name of and ends up with a large scar on his face. He didn’t know her name and the night it happened she ran off.
Weeks go by, he is struggling with his “new self”. Someone less confident. Someone that just wants to lay in bed all day alone. Until… she shows back up.
If you love beauty and the beast… you will eat this book up.

A broken, sad, grouchy, man meets girl who wants to just cheer him up, despite the secrets she may have.

Gah. These books just get better and better. Obsessed.

Tropes
-beauty and the best vibes
-he hates the world, but would wreck it all for her
-hidden identity
-street racers
-he saves her life

El amor que se tienen entre los dos por favor. Una de mis parejas favoritas sin duda.

“I don’t know how I’ve gone this long without you in my life.” FOX TE AMO

Podemos hablar de lo reina que es Ash, la amo completamente.

“I can keep you safe. I would get my knuckles bloody every day for you. A beast if you need it. I’ll rip my body apart to make you happy.” This level of love is that I want.

Osea podria poner todo el libro porque me encantó entero, pero me llevaría tiempo.

He leaned over, kissing my head. “Thank you for saving me. Thank you for giving me this life.”
“I could say the exact same thing to you. I love you.”
“I love you too, hellion."
Que cuteee los amo

I enjoyed this book. Seeing fox go from a really happy character to very angsty was something and ash’s backstory was interesting. The opening of this book was really good but some parts was stagnant. I liked the ending but i wish we saw more of what happened to liam and david as they literally were so annoying. overall 4 stars.

Another fun, easy & quick read to end the year! This series is a great time, I absolutely ADORE the found family vibes with the group and, of course, the hot, bad boy street racers don’t hurt either 🤌🏻

The spice was kicked up a bit in this book compared to the first one, and there were some incredibly hot moments when I just couldn’t’ keep the smirk off of my face. Ash & Fox have great chemistry!

***Mild spoilers below***

Fox was slightly different than I thought he was gonna be at the end of book one. I def don’t mind a broody boy, but I was a bit taken aback by his hot & cold attitude when it came to Ash. I could easily empathize with what he was going through but his wishy-washyness time and time again made that hard to do! But boyyyy, that man can grovel 😏 and I loved him when we got glimpses of his former self, when he was happy and charming! Obviously it’s a HEA, so he’s back to being that Fox by the end of the book!

I loved Ash! She is so sassy and funny and so.. not afraid to speak her mind when it comes to dirty thoughts about her man 😂 (I get it, I support it). What was happening to her with her father & her ex on top of dealing with the trauma of her previous wreck made me SO sad for her, and while she and Fox ended up being exactly what each other needed in the end, there were times when I just wanted to smack him for her. MY BOSS RACER BABE HAS HAD IT ROUGH, OK.

But again… he’s v good at groveling and has some incredibly hot and sweet moments so… I can’t stay mad at him for too long.

I am SUPER excited for Jax’s book bc his little moments in this one had me laughing and smiling over and over again! I love him ALREADY, Your Honor.

Better than the first but there's something about the way this author writes dialogue and movement that frustrates me. The long paragraphs without dialogue markers and the clunky way the characters talk feel so Wattpad they almost made me stop reading so many times. I don't even know how many times I got lost trying to keep track of the most basic movement progressions, like at one point the scene is outside then suddenly they're sitting at a table inside with no smooth transition. I want to like this series so bad because it's such a fun concept and meets all of my trope criteria but I just can't handle the messy writing. I hope the author continues to grow as a writer and gets the editorial support they need to polish their writing, but I can't read more of the series. Ash and Fox were by far more dynamic and interesting than Ransom and Quinn, though. Honestly this book's only saving grace.

Umm…I need book 3 NOW 🥲

I thought Ransom & Quinn had me swooning…I am a SIMP for Fox & Ash 🫶🏼
This book literally had it all!
- enemies to lovers
- grumpy x grumpy
- forced proximity
- scarred hero
- badass fmc
- possessive mmc

The list goes on…Fox swept me away, his inner beast was intoxicating and I will fall to my knees for him any day. His battle in finding himself again is heartbreaking yet rewarding to watch develop!

Ash!!! Bby girl, I looooove her 🤧 she’s witty, smart, fun, fierce, strong, caring…my heart broke for her over and over when she couldn’t help but feel guilty about Fox. and David?! Fuck David…I loved the mystery plot, the stalker ex boyfriend, fox’s instinct to protect what’s his 🥰

I wish I could read this all over again for the first time
