Back in high school, star football captains Erik Douglas and Jeremy Oliver used to be best friends – that is, until senior year, when a misunderstanding over a scholarship tore the boys apart. Now in their senior year of college, Erik is the star quarterback for the Chestnut Falls Cheetahs, and Jeremy for the Forest Grove two rival schools whose yearly matchup brings out the most raucous D2 football fans.

Jeremy has known he was gay since the end of high school, even if he can't quite figure out how to tell anyone but his dad about it. What he doesn't know is whether or not he's had feelings for Erik specifically this whole time.

Erik has always known he's straight. Right? Then why is he still thinking about Jeremy this much, four years after Jeremy became his biggest enemy?

Loved the prose and dialogue. The characters weren’t at all unrealistically portrayed and the ending was sweet.

I liked this a lot. The way they realised the nature of their feelings. It was a nice read.
