This enlightening little book is the account of an historical dialgoue between two leading representatives of Tibetan and Chinese Buddhism today,His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama and Venerable Chan Master Sheng-yen. These two masters spoke before 2500 people gathered at The Roseland in New York City from May 1st to 3rd, 1998 in New York City. Wisdom was the key topic, and their conversation ranged from different systems of meditation and the experience of enlightnement to the positive changes that spiritual practice can make in our lives. This enlightening dialogue sheds light on the similarities and differences between Vajrayana and Zen (Chan) schools of Buddhism and the path to enlightenmnet.
