Hurricane Iris and Mike McKay arrived at the same time
It was anyone's guess which posed the greater threat. Sandy Patterson's home was already battered by Hurricane Henry, which had attacked Eaton's Harbor, Long Island, the previous day. And while Sandy had fifteen years to recover from her last encounter with Mike, she was as vulnerable now as she'd been then.
There was no guarantee their love would be any easier this time, that their needs would mesh, that their desires would blend in sweet harmony. But as the winds howled around the house, Sandy realized that love, like life, was made up of risks that were meant to be taken.

The cover on my book was different so not sure this is the same one. It was an average easy romance but definitely showed how people try to manipulate each other.

This is an okay, feel good, light read for me. There was nothing to grasp me by the throat. If you want a good book to read on a weekend by the beach it is alright. Don't get me wrong, too much angst and twisted plot is not altogether good, but how is it, that the 'love' interests of the h & H, ended up in their wedding as main players? Strange.
Finding a long lost love isn't for everyone but it does make a wonderful story when it does happen. That's exactly what this story is but it keeps you guessing till the very end whether or not they will take the chance.
It was a cute story, moved very quickly, but did not feel enough of the development of the characters to feel really connected to it. But worth the read to pass the time
