DNF- this had all the elements I usually like but this was just boring to me. I didn’t like the writing style it made me feel like I was being told instead of making me feel immersed in the story.

🌟Brief Summary:
The best one by V. Theia by far.

Scarlett is homeless and on the run from her family. When She breaks into the wrong persons truck for food money she finds herself at the Diablos headquarters.

Axel brings her to the compound and proceeds to help her back on her feet. Fireworks fly between the two but Axel thinks she’s to good for him and to young for him so he puts up a long fight to deny his feelings.

‼️ Opinion‼️:

-❤️🥳He has not looked at another woman since seeing her. So yay at least there’s that’s! So even though months pasted from them meeting and him acting on his feelings he was celibate 🙌🏻 whoop whoop 🙌🏻 . This is unheard of in MC books so YES I’ll take it. And honestly it let me enjoy their push pull more and take him more seriously when he confessed his feelings 😍❤️‍🔥

-The first half is lots of push pull and I definitely got frustrated with Axel at times.

-The chemistry 🔥🔥is off the charts for this couple you can feel the sparks jump off the page.

-The intense love and passion felt by this couple. I really believed it. It was so sweet. It was a fun romance and it was refreshing to just read a great romance with lots of chemistry.

-The underline story could have been better. If you’ve read the previous books in this series and others you get more of what’s going on. Her family storyline fell flat pretty quick to.

What I didn’t like took off a half star for…..
-Massive hero worship🙄.. Because he rides a bike and fucks club bunnies that’s makes him unattainable while the FMC has hearts in her eyes and every other word is another word to worship the hero. Ugh this is why I don’t like MC. Give me a girl that’s not so desperate 🙏🏻 please.

-What bothers me the most is that they both want each other equally. But he has rejected her 3 times and the ball is entirely in HIS court while she sulks and throws herself at him. I just wish there was more balance. Why is it up to him if they get together? Why does the FMC have to come off as desperate?

-3rd person POV ugh and I don’t like the way the author writes the dialogue it makes her characters sound like imbeciles. Or didn’t pass second grade grammar class.

OW - she sees him on a date. Turns out it a cop that he pays off and hates.

Generally this author is considered safe. But there have been some of her MC books that have OW sex after they meet or even hook up w the h. There is also tons of OW sex thoughts. Usually after they are together officially there isn’t cheating. Because of the OW stuff I haven’t fully enjoyed her reads but this one was perfection. I loved it. I was worried he would whore around while fighting his feelings. I’m so glad he didn’t.💕

Axel is such a caretaker. He's the prez of the Diablo Disciples and has a heavy load on his shoulders to bring his club into the black, but he makes sure his guys are good and being a single dad, he knows how to look after someone. And that's what he does with Scarlett. He buys her clothes, a phone, even makes a whole-ass media movie room for her to catch up on everything she's missed in her closeted life. It was so romantical, I fell deep and hard for this Prez and this spunky heroine.
They fit together in so many ways and I enjoyed their growth as individuals but more importantly as a couple navigating this new lust and growing love.
10/10 it was awesome!

Whenever I get a book from V Theia I dive straight into it, however with work this week I didn’t have time to read it until today. So on a Saturday morning I opened up my kindle and opened up Axel. From meeting him from Roux story we knew that Axel was going to be the older man that we all love. And there is no different when he meets scarlet. I loved their dynamic where they constantly bickered and the naughty times were incredible. There was a part in the book when I shouted Axel you dick and parts that I laughed out loud because when you dip into a Theia book you feel that you are coming home and you are in the world she has created and with each hero and heroine you love them the most until the next book when you do it all over again. I will say the ending V you are just killing me now because now I need the next generation because of all the crumbs we have been getting. You know how patiently I am awaiting sunny and Seb but now I may have another one. The last book in the series is coming with Ruin and I cannot wait to see how this series wraps up because I have loved all the men so far. Maybe that says more about me as a reader. But as always I will happily shout about V’s books and happily wait for the next one to come my way. If you like age gap romances, no 80% break up and motorcycle men this book is for you.

I adored this book. Axel is just mouth watering. He’s got, grumpy, set in his ways, attempting to be moral by not going after Scarlett, over the top possessive, and jealous. He has a lot of issues with the age-gap between them, and he’s never wanted a relationship. Scarlett has a sad past and is semi on the run. Axel somewhat kidnaps her when he catches her trying to steal from his truck - but then becomes her protector and boss at the MC. Heavens do these two fight/banter and it’s such sizzling chemistry and foreplay. The fire between them is scorching, until they combust. There’s plenty of action and drama, plus the over arching plot of issues with the older brother of the twins. There’s also a fairly good grovel and a terrific epilogue that made me screech. I’m going to expire waiting for Ruin’s book!!!!

There is no author who world builds better then V. Theia!
That ending needs its own review……

Im not sure if I should say poor Axel or poor Scarlett. They each have the other wrapped around their fingers, but as a couple are so well suited. He adores the ground she walks on and despite teasing her to get her riled up, he protects her so sweetly, telling her she can keep secrets...
I loved that the boys all gave Axel crap about Scarletts age and her being his hostage, and that they gave Scarlett ways to punish Axel.

The teasers for Ruins book are drving me nutz. I licked him, so hes mine.
As for that ending.... cant wait.

Axel and his hostage Scarlett aka Scar, aka Wildcat. What a couple they make. I'm in awe of them, and the way they both came to life in front of my eyes.

He's so unapologetically male, and she is finding her way after years of being oppressed. They are a match made in heaven or hell, you decide.

Now, it's not plain sailing... that would be too easy, but, by the end of the book I was screaming like a loon at the genius that is V Theia....

In V we trust.

If you're a fan of the author then you've seen Axel before, he's the dad of Roux (from Savage Outlaw) he definitely got my attention, so I was overjoyed he got his own book and what a book he got!
His heroine is someone unlikely he'd fall for, my type of romance bringing two unlikeliest people together and watching the sparks FLY.

10/10 recommend this age-gap romance.

Book three in the Diablo Disciples MC series. Axel is the president of the club. With it comes responsibility. Stay focus, stay strong. She makes it really hard to do those things. Scarlett is running from her past. When she got hungry, she told from the wrong truck. Now that Axel has his hands on her both don’t know what to do. He offers her a job and a place to live. They fight like an old couple. Love, love this book she’s perfect for him. Even do she’s to young for him. When her past comes calling Axel is their to hold her and take care of the problem for her.

Axel is such a deliciously dirty story full of heart, love and bickering banter.

It was absolutely my kind of MC romance. Just enough action and MC brotherhood to let you know the book is about bikers but it wholly focuses on the romance element and I L O V E D T H A T!!!!
It's what this MC author does best, she never falls flat on the character growth and connection.

I was so invested in watching Axel and Scarlett bicker foreplay their way into loving each other.
This is a 17 year age gap, Axel struggles with it because his daughter is the same age so he tries and fails to stay away from Scarlett but she is so his person!! He gives her a new life away from her closest upbringing and she gives him peace.
Their love is a match made in delicious heaven and I can't rave about this book enough.

It's a safe read. No cheating or sex scenes with others.

I can't get enough of this author's work. I fall in love with each new book, and it becomes my current favorite.
When an author writes the stories and tropes you love, and you know you can trust them to navigate you through a fast paced, all spice and wonderful love story, you grab on tight and devour everything.

I couldn't put Axel down. I love a great damsel in distress but can give him just as much in return. The love and peace Scarlett gave to this heavily burdened MC prez was great to read. Their relationship might not have started as equal because Scarlett had nothing to offer at first, but it became equal with their love. HOW AWESOME IS THAT! - and they have great communication! especially when Scarlett needed his help.

Oh, and they fuck so dirty and hot. Best sex scenes ever!!!!!
I've super enjoyed this series so far and anticipate great books still to come.

I liked Scarlett and Axel. I thought there was going to be more Scarlett family drama than there was, but we got Axel drama instead. There was an interesting time overlap between this book and Ruin's story. I'm curious to see how that will be handled. I think the only thing I didn't really like was the last chapter taking place 25 years down the road. I'm guessing it's a setup for the next series, but if so, it could have waited till this one was done.

HOW!!

Every book in this series just gets better and better!! Axel and Scarlett really toe the line between love and hate. They love each other so much and with such a passion that it can and will burn them and everything in its path, Axel will move any and everything to protect his woman and Scarlett will argue that should could have done it all on her own. They are fire and ice and let me tell you there is so much steam!!!

1. I’ve read enough MC romances to know that there is no WAY that the prospects would talk to the members, and especially the President, in such a disrespectful way.
