Got this book to read to my son for Halloween (was in the kids section), and it’s written way too complicated for him to enjoy. I DNFed because of this. I found it uninteresting and overly complicated even for an adult.

This book consisted of short summaries from classic “ghost” stories. A lot were pulled from popular authors of the time like Mary Shelly, Edgar Allan Poe, Charles Dickens etc.

It was an easy read that opens the door to actually read the books that were included.
