USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Tracy Lorraine brings you the final instalment of her dark mafia, high school romance story set in the Knight's Ridge Empire world.
Everything I thought I knew was a lie.
And the notion that I was safe and protected is shattered with every step I run.
Much like Alex, this world is a wolf dressed in sheep’s clothing.
Beautiful, breathtaking.
Until...
Dear Readers,
Sinful Kingdom is the conclusion to Alex and Evie's trilogy and the final couple in my Knight's Ridge Empire series. This book is a dark forbidden bully romance that contains mature content and demanding alphaholes that some readers may find disturbing. You have been warned.
Tracy Lorraine is a M/F and M/M contemporary romance author. Tracy has just turned thirty and lives in a cute Cotswold village in England with her husband, baby girl and lovable but slightly crazy dog. Having always been a bookaholic with her head stuck in her Kindle Tracy decided to try her hand at a story idea she dreamt up and hasn’t looked back since.
Alex and Evie’s happy ever after. This is one rough ride right til the end. Can Evie save Alex from more than one demon?
I really enjoyed Alex and Evie’s story. Actually I’ve enjoyed the whole series. In this book we get to see a different dynamic and watch Evie fall hard.
WOW!!! that’s the word that stuck out throughout this final book. Gotta say I think my heart was ripped out at the start. An I actually got very emotional with Alex on this one. I’m not normally a crier but with what he went through at the start an the amount of pain he endured I’m not sure I was ready for it on that level.
Evie finally came into her on with this final one an saw just what type of family she has in the amazing group an all those will to step up. An the sacrifice she was willing to make to get back those she loves was just what I would have expected of her just because she has such a big heart.
Of course we have a few jaw dropping moments in the final book because what would a Knights Ridge Empire be without them to get you ready for what’s to come.
I have loved this series and waited through them all for my Golden Retriever with a Rottweiler outer shell to come an I’m so glad he was last. Alex & Evie tied the series together an I couldn’t have as so it any other way.
These guys will have a special place in my soul for years to come. Definitely put all them in your must read but if I have to say which I pick it will always be Alex 😏♥️
Wow, just amazingly WOW! Sinful Kingdom was the perfect end for Knight's Ridge. Of course I will always want more though.
It would be incredibly difficult to go into too much detail without giving everything away and there is A LOT that is packed in. So many secrets revealed, twists and turns, and of course love.
I loved the fact that it really showed the love among all the boys and their girls, not just as couples but as family. By the end I actually really felt like Evie was perfect for Alex. She comes out of her shell a bit more and you see what Alex brings out in her. The love she has for Alex and him for her knows no bounds. They would go to hell and back for each other. It was also fantastic to see Alex finally able to to experience the voyeuristic proclivities like the rest of them 🤣
The series ended on an amazing high note all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Sinful Kingdom and of course all the boys and their ladies of Knights Ridge. It hit just the right note of spice level given the situations they are put in, 🌶🌶🌶🌶 I still need more of all of them, find out where life takes them.
I cannot believe that this series has come to an end. From the very first book, I became enthralled with the characters and the series. Each book I read led to me loving the characters even more and more.
Sinful Knight did an exceptional job of showing us how Alex and Evie’s story concluded, giving them the happy ending they deserved, while also giving us some closure for the other characters. I also loved that there were hints in the end to things that may come in the future from Tracy Lorraine and let me tell you, I am super excited.
I loved this book. I loved Alex and Ellie’s journey and loved seeing the relationship between her brother, Zay, and Alex develop. It was super cute and made me love Alex even more than I already had.
I cannot wait to see what Tracy comes up with next. She has gotten a forever fan out of me.
I was given an advanced readers copy of this book and have decided to write a voluntary honest review. I am so sad to see this series come to an end but, but also ready for what's next. My heart hurt a lot in this conclusion and I'm pretty sure yours will too. Just try to keep your head up. I love the twins Soo much! Evie is a sweetheart. But Stella and Seb are where it all started. I am ready for Reid and the rest.
Alex is my absolute favourite out of all The knight ridge boys. Absolutely love his trilogy. Has me crying it was heartbreaking. Such an amazing series
Sinful Kingdom isn’t just the epic conclusion to Evie and Alex’s trilogy, but also the mind-blowing and bittersweet end to the Knight’s Ridge Empire series. Everything about the conclusion to Alex and Evie’s story offered irrefutable evidence that Lorraine saved the best for last. The storyline was more addictive, the banter was wittier, the steam was hotter, and above all, the bond between this group of exceptional friends was stronger than ever.
*Incoming vagueness… Don’t seek spoilers for this trilogy. A bittersweet goodbye, and maybe little hints of what’s to come. Dive in and enjoy it.*
I have been very impatiently waiting for Sinful Kingdom since I reached the end of Sinful Princess. I can’t tell you the number of tears I shed or the number of times it felt as though a weight were on my chest because the pain and fear that overwhelmed this group were palpable on every page. Every emotion was more overwhelming than ever before.
I adored Evie from the moment I met her, but I think a lot of that was because she was so different from all the other women in the group. She had a fierce protectiveness for the ones she loved. She was shy and naïve in many ways, while also having seen the worst in humanity. She was more than one thing, but one thing that never wavered was her willingness to go to the end of the world in order to save those she loved. She was the last piece needed to make not only Alex whole, but the group as well.
Alex was always more than eye candy and jokes. To some extent, everyone knew there was a reason he always had an easy smile, and was so willing to hide behind jokes and women. Other than his brother, I don’t think anyone knew the darkness that weighed so heavily on his soul until Evie. From the moment they laid eyes on one another, they saw deeper into one another than anyone ever had, but even that was nothing compared to the magnitude of the connection they shared in the conclusion of their story.
I’m not even a little ready to say goodbye to this world. I’ve spent the past 2 years wrapped up inside the Knight’s Ridge Empire world, and it still doesn’t feel like enough. The escape from reality it provided, which was needed more than I would ever be able to express, is something that has ingrained these characters and this world in my heart. Every heart-pounding, overwhelmingly emotional, mind-blowing minute has offered me a chance to feel at home in a world that has never felt fictional. Lorraine seems to take every story as a challenge to obliterate any perceived notions of the limits of her talent. I can assure you, it’s as limitless as any I’ve ever seen.
I can’t imagine a more perfect couple than Evie and Alex to bring an end to the Knight’s Ridge Empire series. They had both been put through the wringer, and yet they never lost the core of who they were. Both of them had every reason in the world to allow the darkness to consume them, and yet they both bounced back stronger than ever. It was the spark of chemistry that started the moment they met, as it soon became an inferno of all-consuming fiery passion that would never allow them to be lost in the darkness of the world they were in.
Sinful Kingdom is a top read of 2023. EVERYTHING about Evie and Alex’s story is the essence of the phrase saving the best for last. Them, the storyline itself, the actions of the rest of the group, and the little tease of what could be next As sad as I am to say goodbye, I have no doubt that whatever Lorraine delivers next will obliterate yet another glass ceiling.
Not only is Sinful Kingdom an epic conclusion to the Sinful Trilogy, but I also can’t imagine a more perfectly woven goodbye to this mind-blowingly addictive world. A riveting blend of soul-searing chemistry, a strong heroine, a cheeky idiot ant-hero, angst, edge-of-your-seat twists, heart-stopping turns, and white-hot steam This world has become embedded inside me; it’s the love, unwavering support, and unyielding loyalty that make it far more than a romance. It’s about love and family.
NOTE: this review of for my own personal remembrance and reflection but you are welcome to read :)
EXCUSE ME?!?!?! I THOUGHT KRE WAS DONE?!?!?! ARE WE GETTING MORE BC YES YES YES PLLLEEAAASSEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! Like im so blown away rn.
I freaking love their story so much. Evie is such a badass and she is so freaky just like Alex it’s adorable. The innocent and the puppy.
Sara….my heart shattered. Literally shattered when that came. I couldn’t. Why, just why? I really was hoping she would make it out ok, I really thought she would. Poor Jesse, poor poor Jesse UGH IM GONNA CRY ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!
The Florida trip and the PROPOSAL?!?! GAH!!!!! That was just perfect. I can’t, I love them all too much, my babies. My favorite spicy series has completed and idk what to do with myself.
The way Theo and emmie and everybody just accepts evie like she’s just a badass baby 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹my heart melts every single time.
Both daemon incidents 💋💋💋that shits funny as hell🤣🤣🤣he was strong for her then flabbergasted. But he took it in stride.
ZAYDEN BROKE MY MF HEART MAN!!!!! Him and Alex, their relationship, “your his hero” SOBBED FULL ON SOBBED!
If I get a new era of KRE kids featuring rhea, zayden, atlas, and more…I’d be so fucking ecstatic bc that would be SO LIT!!!! I already love them, they’re so awesome. Or with ant and isla and a wolves series??? SO FUN!!!
Also…the fact that Luciana is her aunt and nothing else was said about that??!!!!?!?!?!?!!! LIKE WHAT???? Such a badass moment.
I can’t wait for more of Blakely bc I’m equally excited and like wtf. I love Alex and daemon’s mom and I was almost rooting for a little makeup story to happen even tho they weren’t right for each. What if stefanos just made a lot of mistakes and didn’t know how to deal with them? Idk, I’m ok with either obvi, not my story to tell, but I’m just so curious about what’s gonna happen you know? They gonna have a sibling….fucking hell this abouta get messy.
I KNEW something was off about fucking Pete. It’s always the quiet ones that are the creepiest. Then the other fucking guy…grant? Idk but mister touchy feely BLEH SO GLAD YALL GOT SHOT DEAD. then mister mysterious here’s my business card showing up…bruh I was so confused and so pissed off with those pricks. I was so happy when daemon made those shots bc…no just no. Then finding out Derek actually said no to the whole exchange even tho he’s all for money. You’re confused I’m fucking confused bruh. I’m glad they all dead. Low key hope she just says the word on her dead and sends him 6 feet under bc sayonara hasta la vista baby🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻

While I REALLY did enjoy reading Alex's book I wish he wasn't last.
By the end I got really sick of every one of the girls being called by some sort of synonym of 'wh**e' even though they had only sleep with their significant 'Knight'. By the end it got very repetitive with each guy 'needing' their girl wherever and whenever no matter what. It also got very repetitive with the 'scenes'. There was no variation except needing each other.
I just wish Alex wasn't last because he was a lot more sensitive and not even his twin knew how lonely and what he really felt about his 'role'.
As an end it should've ended with Evie pregnant just like Daemon & Calli. Especially the fact she was still on the pill and got pregnant; it would've been a amusing link to the twins getting pregnant even on the pill. Especially with their kids growing up months apart. But alas no.
I sadly had to take a break for a week or two before finishing this book because I needed a break from the repetitiveness and language. I'll take a break before I read Daemon & Calli's Bonus & the Final book.
I was a little annoyed at the ending paragraph as well. We get a shocking scene for all the characters without anymore explanation and also a very quick reference to the next series with Reid and a 'supposed' to be amusing scene that occurs but doesn't get explained. But at least it enables us to know what the next series will entail and not to read it if we want to same attitude to women and s**.
I'm no prude but to go from the Rebel Inc series to the Knight's Ridge Series the jump in immaturity, language and reference to females is a huge chasm. I have read mostly Mafia series and this Knight's Ridge Series is probably the most repetitive in scenes and no difference in s*x*al preferences between characters. But also the names in which they call the women they love even if they have only been with them I find irritating.
But as I have said I wish Alex wasn't last so that I didn't have this bad taste in my mouth by the end because Alex was a REAL character that alot more thought was put into and never should've been last.
alex is the last single guy in the group and he hooks up with a dancer and it’s amazing but he doesn’t get her name. a few months later after the italians are taken care of alex goes to one of their clubs and finds her again. evie is a girl from lovell (the poor area) and is struggling to get by with her alcoholic father, older sister and younger brother. alex’s work for the family is being the easy going guy who sleeps with people tog at the info they need so he struggles to realize he can have a good relationship with evie. the first book ends with alex on a trip nico planned for bri and evie just turned 18 so her creepy uncle is trying to get her to give her virginity for a price. it ends with everything going black for evie with her dad and uncle in their house. the second book starts with evie being taken to be sold into human trafficking. however she’s intercepted and alex gets her. the second book is alex and evie hiding in the cabin while everyone is trying to find out who actually bought evie. evie and alex get into a few fights. one about alex knowing about evie camming but didn’t tell her and the second was that he did for work. however the second book ends with them in a flight about alex lying and withholding info from her and while he’s at school she gets taken from the cabin and is running in the woods. alex gets back home and the guys attack him and everything goes black. the third book starts with evie still trying to run away and she finds a woman that drives her to her sister but finds out that both alex and her little brother were taken. evie saves alex and her brother by portending to trade herself for them but then the greeks stormed and killed all the human traffickers. alex and evie have a happy ever after and spend two weeks in florida with all of stella’s florida friends. seb and stella get engaged and blakey (evie sister) just told her she was pregnant and imma guess the dad is alex’s dad… overall it was pretty good little slow since the italians were taken care of but super cute
Alex continues to surprise me but Evie is the one who really impressed me in the final piece. Her nerves of steel and determination to save those she loves is impressive. She’s unstoppable, a force who leaves them all in awe, Alex included. Of all the amazing women in this series, she may be the biggest badass of them all, which is no small feat. The trafficking ring has managed to take some prisoners but she’ll be the catalyst that frees the others. It wasn’t easy but Evie proved that she could handle the pressure when she demanded a meeting with Theo’s dad and the other leaders.
She had help getting an audience with the bosses, although nobody wanted to step up at first. Ant set aside his fears and trusted her others refused to listen, proving himself once again to be a true friend they can depend on for anything. Alex stepped up in a lot of ways too, taking care of her little brother and being Zay’s anchor when he needed someone. I think even Alex was surprised at his capacity to love and take care of other people. Unlike his brother, Alex has always hidden his darkness well, so well that even Daemon may not know how deep it runs, but Evie sees it and she embraces it because she loves him completely.
And that’s exactly what he needs to start healing. Their story had a few fun surprises for the others, including a shocking revelation from Alex and Daemon’s mum, new bonds forming in unlikely places and a surprise for them both at the end. I love the way their story played out and how it ended, but I’m unhappy that this series I love so much has come to an end.
Last installment of Alex and Vixen's trilogy. Must read in order.
After outrunning whoever was after her, Evie makes her way back to Alex's childhood home. Only to learn that Alex has been taken, and the only way to get him back is to exchange her for him. Feeling guilty, she steps up and faces the most feared leaders of the Mafia who have been trying to bring down this trafficking ring and offers herself to be traded. Will they take her up on her offer?
Bringing down and finding out who was behind the trafficking ring and who bought Evie, they've got a few things to get through.
Evie really has grown and become more confident. All her and Blake have done is for them and Zayden for a better life. They've now got this whole new extended family, it's no longer just the three of them, they're surrounded by people who would do anything for them, accepted them as is. The connection between Zayden and Alex is heartwarming.
The banter is brilliant. So funny. Such a great read! This is as spoiler free as I can manage.
WHAT AN ENDING *sobs* I can't believe we have finally reached, and finished, book 18 in this series. It really hasn't felt like that many over the course of the last year and a half-ish, but then again, Tracy's writing always sucks me in so deep I feel like it's over in minutes and yet I've experienced lifetimes. Kingdom brought exactly what I was hoping for, a nonstop action and thrill ride during the first half, and an epilogue-ish second half where we get to see the gang hang, and get allllll the smiles.
The first half to two thirds of this story was so brutal and heartbreaking... These characters are put through the ringer, especially Alex, and it takes longer than I expected for them to make it out. The torment of what they went through didn't stop when they got home... There were physical and emotional scars to tend too, and I really loved how Tracy handled their situation. Alex and Zay in particular tugged on my heartstrings until they about broke off. Also, shout out to Giana, love that woman so much.
Thankfully the end was all smiles and seggsiness. I absolutely adore Evie and Alex's relationship and watching them prove their love to one another will never get old. Evie befriending Ant and Isla was also amazing and I almost wish we got a little MMF action in this one, Evie seemed like she may be down for it *eyebrow raise* I can't wait for Ant's story and Isla's story, or maybe Ant and Isla's story. They are such fun side characters. We get approximately 3 cliffhanger-esque endings for side characters here, so hang onto your butts. I really can't wait to see what's coming next from Tracy, whatever it is, sign me up, I'm here for it.
Have you ever picked up a series that completely blew you away with each and every installment ? That kept you on the edge of your seat anticipating what would happen from one moment to the next , that left you speechless and had the ability to crush your heart and then put it back together again . Well that exactly what Tracy’s Knights Ridge Empire has done to me . Well the ending is finally here not only to Alex and Evie’s journey but the series as well . I’m so freaking sad 😢 but i honestly could not have asked for a more perfect ending . The intrigue . The suspense, the drama , the angst , the twists and turns, the heartbreaking and heartwarming moments as well as the moments that are just so dark , raw , gritty and emotional. Love , romance, passion , secrets revelations , second chances, loss , tragedy, non stop action and two of the most captivating characters in both Evie and Alex - both are so unique and so very multi layered not to mention so strong and beautifully flawed . There journey has not been a easy one by any means, they have had to endure difficult times in their lives and many obstacles to be together . But in each other they found the strength to persevere. One of the things I loved being privy to was watching Evie and Alex grow throughout their journey both strength wise and emotionally as a couple as well as separately .truth be told there just are not any word to express what a exceptional series this is not to mention all the emotions it’s guaranteed to stir in you . You simply need to go in with a completely open mind and experience all its perfection for yourself
Annnnnd it went downhill from the second book. Maybe because the first was so good nothing else could beat it? Not sure, but Alex is held captive for almost half of this book. Meaning, we get very very little of this with Evie and him together. And again, considering how slow burn this series has been, it really didn’t do us any favors. It honestly kind of severed the connection for me so then when they were finally physical again towards the very end of the book it was just lacking. I also kind of felt like the whole bi thing was pushed and consistently making Ant uncomfortable which I wasn’t a huge fan of. In addition to this, I wish there had been a trigger warning for SA. Also, is Luciana not going to be in her nieces and nephews life? It was kind of left as a plot hole along with a few other things? Like what happened to her art? Her being an artist ended up being such a minimal part of this storyline it was crazy. There was no epilogue and it just ended quite abruptly.
Anyway. The good parts were Alex and Zay for starters. They were adorable together and I loved how fiercely Alex protected him. I liked how Evie came into her strength in this book. Honestly she was a completely different girl from the first and adapted to Alex’s life and needs. I did like them together, I just wished we had gotten more of it. I liked that they both were putting past jobs behind for each other and focusing on the future of just them two together. Overall probably not my favorite of the couples but it was nice to finally get Alex’s story.
The last chapter of the Knight´s Ridge Empire is written and the last Knight got his girl and happy end. The way to this was hard, rough and sometimes hard to read. What Alex and Evie had to endure and suffer was a lot, but also overwhelming was their reunion. So save the best and for last as the last book in a series should be. Evie grew in a little span of time from a girl into a badass young woman who was determined to take on everybody to help the ones she loves. Alex showed a few new sides of him. His passion for Evie, his protectiveness toward Zay and a new foundation for a relationship with his father were the most important ones. His facade of the always funny and playful guy faltered when he realized his full effects to him of the events. Evie developed strength to help Alex and convince him of her unwavering love for him. She will almost do everything for him and him to be happy, so where their way will lead would have been awesome to discover. There are many possibilities. The bond between all the guys and girls from this series only grew stronger. That showed through the last chapters. A very fantastic series comes to an end. But all good things have to come to an end. And I think right there was a very good point taken, but a few little questions stayed, but who knows what the future will hold.
Picks up where the 2nd left off. There's angst and pain and everything in between. Evie manages to get herself away from the people chasing her and get to safety. She wasn't prepared for the news she received though when she got back.
It's like a movie playing in my head. Tracy is able to weave a story that has you on the edge of your seat. You feel all the tension as everyone scrambles to figure out what to do.
Evie really stands up and becomes who she needs to be for Zay and Alex. She we will do whatever it takes for the people she loves. I felt that she grew a lot in this book, I guess she kind of had to, but she held her own and didn’t back down.
There were some really dark scenes in here, that Tracey wrote so well. You feel everything. My heart was in my throat with everything that was happening.
It's everything you expect from the knights Ridge. Like all books in the series, we got to see how close this group really is, where they'll come together in times of need.
There's a lot of emotion when things go down and it takes time and recovery.
The ending to this book, and now to the series, was a good one, it's not often we got to see them all like that. While this may be the end of knights Ridge, I really hope we get to see this group again, something tells me that they won't be gone forever, they'll pop up again somewhere, eventually.
This series is one of the best and one I'd be happy to read over and over.
Quotes:📖 Calli shakes her head. “That was my dark knight, not your cheeky one.”
“Crying doesn’t make you weak. It makes you human. It shows you have a big heart, that you care about the people who love you.”
“Everything we go through, whether it be as awful as that, or something incredible, shapes you in ways you don’t even realize. Do whatever it takes to ensure it makes you a better person.”
Thoughts: 💡 So this was a nice ending to this series, but it threw a lot of new story arcs in at the end. The events that happen in this story are kind of brutal; it was definitely plot driven. It was nice to see Alex and Evie get to a good place in their relationship. I liked the book well enough, I just don’t feel this book was as engaging as the first one. The writing mechanics were okay, but there were noticeable typos especially at the end of the story.
Fun Bits: ⚜️ Cameos From Previous Characters ⚜️ Backstory ⚜️ Fun Smut
Important Note:✨ This series is finished, but there will be a series epilogue released in June. I’m also pretty certain there will be many stories to come from some of the side characters we met.

Sinful Kingdom is the final book in Alex and Evie's story and also the last book in Knight's Ridge Empire series. As I said that cliffhanger at the end of Sinful Princess wasn't good. It not only flipped Alex and Evie's world upside down but left me hanging there not knowing what happens next. And the evolution of Evie is amazing - she's so brave and smart, and strong. And she finally believed that so many people care for her and she has found and added to her family. And when needed she stepped up and did what was needed to be done to save the people she love . Alex and Zay bonded together during difficult times and their connection was so strong . They kept caring for each other and helped each other heal emotionally and physically .This Princess saved herself and saved her knight. Oh , and some family mysteries got revealed and were such a plot twist . And as the other books this one is also fast paced and full of suspense and action . And if the first half of the story is full of suspense, the second half is full of fun times and some shenanigans for all the knights and their girls . I'm so curious about Ant and Isla . And that open ending gives me hope that there are some possibilities for future stories . I can't wait to see what's coming next from Tracy Lorraine but if she writes it , I'll read it .
I received an ARC copy of this book by Deviant Hearts PR in exchange of an honest review.
SINFUL KINGDOM is Tracy Lorraine's 3rd book in the Sinful trilogy series. This is not only the conclusion to Alex and Evie's trilogy it is the final couple and the end to Knight Ridge Empire series.
The Sinful series is yet another reason of why I just love Lorraine & her work. Her talent never ceases to amaze me and always leaves me wanting more!
The Knight's Ridge world has been filled with an all-consuming combination of explosive chemistry b/w mmcs & the fmcs... it has been filled with twists and turns that will leave you breathless & in shock. We got some off the charts & sizzling steam. Theres been several cliffhangers throughout that made us want to toss our kindles. I am sad to see this world comes to a close... and in true fashion... We know this book is going to be epic and she is going out with a BANG! So, buckle up yall... enjoy the ride!
𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙤/𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙚 = Alex & Evie (Vixen) 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 = No. This is the final book of the trilogy AND of the KRE series. 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙚 = NO. Must read Sinful Knight & Sinful Princess prior. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙚(𝙨) = Dark Romance ♥ Mafia ♥ High School ♥ Forbidden ♥ Bully ♥ Dual POVs ♥ HEA 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙨 = Language ♥ Sexual Content ♥ Kidnapping/Trafficking 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 = 🔥🔥🔥🔥 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙍𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
Sinful Kingdom picks up where Sinful Princess ends. We get the conclusion of Alex & Evie's story and their HEA.
I think Tracy Lorraine did an excellent job with this one because while it's the last book of Alex and his Vixen, Evie, it's also the last book of Knight's Ridge Empire series.
But first of all, Alex finally moves back to the top 3 of my favorite characters of the series by showing his strength in this book. Gosh, Tracy Lorraine absolutely knows how to torture us, readers, with what Alex has been through. I can't put my kindle down until I know for sure that he is safe. And my heart breaks for him because all those bad times, he still takes care of Evie's brother. So yes, the story is dark, intense, violent, and angsty AF... on the first half of the book.
But after that, Tracy Lorraine gives us a rest by preparing us to say good bye to these characters. It's bittersweet but I love her idea so much. I know Theo, Seb, Toby, Nico, Daemon, and Alex are family for life but they are bonded even more with everything they have been through together. Add their women into the mix and my mine is blown!
I have to say I don't like cliffhangers but Tracy Lorraine is one of a few authors who can make me read them all without fail. That should tell you something about how this series is magnificent, right? And I can't wait for her next project (but finger crossed that it's a cliffhanger!) LOL.
Gripping, fast paced and a fantastic conclusion to a 5 star series!
This book was action packed from the first page onwards. I was on the edge and so anxious as to what was gonna happen that I could not put the book down.
Evie was such a bad ass in this book, you saw how far she came from the shy girl in the first book to the absolutely strong woman in this one. I loved how she didn't hesitate to do what she had to do to protect Alex and Zay and how fierce she was.
My heart broke for what Alex had to go through but in spite of that he was so protective and caring with Zay.
Both Alex and Evie developed so much throughout these books. Their individual strength and love for each was so evident and their chemistry in this book was again off the charts. Their love and passion was heightened as they admitted and accepted their feelings for each other.
This book did not lack the intrigue, spicy or humor. It was a fantastic conclusion to a great trilogy. It was also a fitting end to an EPIC series. I am sad the KRE series is over but excited for what is next. Tracy did a brilliant job with this entire series. I loved each and every book and highly recommend each and every book.
What an excellent ending to a fantastic series. I love that we got more than just Alex and Evie's happy ending. We got to see all the couples and where they are currently in life, plus a prelude into another story. Alex and Evie went through a lot to be together, with the help of their family they were able to overcome it. Both of these characters are shown to be selfless and brave. Willing to put their lives on the line for the sake of others. They are so perfectly matched.
This book did an amazing job featuring their relationships with each other as well as with family and friends. I love all the banter between the friends, I found myself smiling and laughing out loud several times. The care and consideration Alex shows to Zay, is just a testimony to what a good person he truly is. I love how Alex's family and friends are so willing to accept and help everyone in Evie's family. It makes it really easy to fall in love with all the characters.
There are definitely some dark times and themes in this story but Ms. Lorraine does a tremendous job writing about the good and the bad. I'm sad to see the series end but I have a feeling we could be seeing some characters in the future or at least I hope so.
I am crying!!! I can't believe this is the final review I will write for a book in this series, but oh is it such a good book to wrap the series up in.
Sinful Kingdom is the final book in Alex and Evie's story and the final book in the KRE series. It picks up right where Book 17 left off and takes you on a whirlwind of twists, turns, and revealed secrets you never saw coming from there. The things that are revealed in this book will have your jaw hitting the floor, because I promise you wont see it coming!
I cried, and I laughed, and at times I even flat out ugly sobbed while reading about the close to our favorite characters of KRE. The wrap up of their story is BEAUTIFULLY done, and you will definitely get to see all your favorites in this book again.
And in true Tracy fashion the ending will having you saying "OH MY GOD" one final time.
The KRE series will always have a special place in my heart and this was such a wonderful way to wrap it all up! Make sure to check out Sinful Kingdom, and if you haven't started from the very beginning, meet Seb and Stella in Wicked Summer Knight!
Wow! I knew this last book was going to be epic & Tracy didn't disappoint following the cliffhanger she left us on. Evie proved just how strong & determined she was to escape the people chasing her & getting back to the people who cared about her. However, the person she was desperate to see was Alex to tell him she didn't mean the things she had said to him the last time they were together but her heart was to be ripped apart again when he wasn't there. Alex was going through hell but was determined to stay strong for Zay knowing how his young life was going to be affected & it only made me love him even more. There was a lot of pain, suffering, suspense but the whole family were not going to stop fighting to get Zay & his superhero back home. I went through a roll coaster of emotions a LOT of sad tears but also tears of laughter with the relationship they all had the banter, mega steamy but how deep & strong they loved each other. I'm so sad that this was the last book in this series but am so glad I was folowing their entertaining, loving but also emotional journey & I can't recommend this series enough.
This is the final book in Alex and Evie's trilogy, not to mention this is the final book in one of the most all consuming, heart-pounding, and amazing series that Lorraine has written to date.
Sinful Kingdom did not disappoint for one single moment. Sweet, beautiful Alex was put through the wringer and all of my emotions went on a rollercoaster ride with him as well.
❤️Alex and his mum, be still my heart.
❤️Alex with Zay, my heart about burst.
❤️Alex with Evie , my heart overflowed and melted on the spot.
❤️I've said it before, but Alex was so worth the wait. He stole my heart and I don't want it back.
Saving the best for last has been no joke when it comes to this book or even for this final trilogy. Am I sad to see it all come to an end...definitely! It's been an awesome ride, but there have been some bread crumbs sprinkled throughout that make me believe these Knights may pop up here and there when their help is needed. Call me excited for future books with any interconnected ties, I will be there with my heart wide open for more panty stealers.
I feel like I've just suffered a major loss with the end of the Knights Ridge Empire world. I love it so freaking much and while I floved the final chapter of Alex and Evie, I'm so sad to see these characters go. I will say though...what a way to end an a-freaking-mazing series.
This series doesn't have a shortage of action, suspense, spice, family and love. This is hands down one of my all time favorite mafia series, honestly, I just can't get enough of these characters and this world.
I loved seeing the strength and growth in both Evie and Alex in their finale. I'm so glad all these mafia men met their fierce, badass women and got their HEA.
Favorite spoiler-free quotes: "You are the other half of my soul. The Ben to my Jerry, the Bonnie to my Clyde. From here on out, we're an us, if you'll have me."
Pain is your friend, not your enemy. Embrace it. Use it to make you stronger.
"Blood just makes people think they have the right to f*ck with you. You get to choose the water for yourself. They're what's really important."
The final chapter of Alex and Evie is here along with the series finally! Evie has escaped her attempted kidnapping and can’t wait to get back to Alex to apologize for everything she said to him before he left for school that morning. Once she is rescued and makes her way back to Stephano’s house she is so out of it that when she sees Alex coming towards her she doesn’t notice the difference in his eye color. Alex wakes up as a hostage along with Evie’s younger brother Zayden. Alex will do whatever he can to help keep Zayden safe and away from danger. He knows that his Family is coming for him, he just hopes that he can survive until they can get to him. This was an epic ending to a series I have been in love with for over a year now. I can’t believe it has lasted so long and has kept me on the edge of my seat over and over again. Seb and Stella will always be my #1 but the series as a whole does an amazing job at making you fall in love with each couple. I am so sad to say goodbye to Knight’s Ridge but excited to see what Tracy will come out with next.
“Don’t most people save special bottles for happy events?” I ask, taking the glass and giving it a hesitant sniff. “You may have noticed,” he starts, lowering himself back to the sofa and swirling his drink around the glass, “we’re not normal people.”
The series conclusion really packs a punch! At least the first 60% is action packed and had me on edge. There are revelations, it’s heartbreaking, endearing, ties up some loose ends and might have a surprise or two. Alex has become my favourite twin and he really is a puppy dog, he’s loyal, lovable and lives to protect. Evie is a perfect match for him and fits right in with his friends and family. She is so much stronger than she thinks and the events of this story test her. We are reconnected with characters from other series and as usual the sexual tension is at an all time high. This storyline was engaging and had enough suspense to keep me wanting answers.
