Last Comes Fate
is here, the finale to Xavier and Francesca’s story in Nicole French’s
Silver Spoon
trilogy series.
Continuing from the cliffhanger ending in
Then Comes Lies,
Nicole had us diving right back into their story for the last time.
This conclusion of an adventurous journey had us riding through major waves courtesy of all the drama and conflict that seemed to just continue to pour out.
All with the added twists and turns that ultimately led to some shocking surprises and some that were guessable IMO, having figured it out before the revelations were made.
Ultimately making it no surprise Xavier and Francesca had their work cut out for them. Particularly when it came to trying to deal with their own issues within the relationship they shared, resulting in a deeply, super emotionally charged whirlwind, courtesy of the many emotions and feelings explored.
Honestly with everything that was going on all throughout, this real page turner from Nicole had you hooked.
Even more so when it came to the continuation of exploring Xavier and Francesca’s relationship, considering the bumps from their many ups, downs and highs and lows they faced and needed to overcome.
Yet again Nicole continued to do a good job when it came to the continuation of character development for Xavier and Francesca.
The thorough exploration allowed us to see more breakdowns before eventually rebuilding with some changes from the growth that the two experienced and endured through.
In Xavier’s case, Nicole finally and completely exposed him to the very core once and for all IMO, paving the way for him to prove to Francesca she was it to him. And that he was willing to do everything in his power no matter the case to back it up and show his worthiness of her.
When it came to Francesca, she definitely held her own.
The fact that she stayed strong within her stance of not giving in to Xavier, despite her feelings getting in the way and trying to sway her. Having made him work for it.
Given all the pain and heartache he had put her through enough times.
Again Xavier and Francesca had me deep in the emotions, courtesy of the deeply heartfelt moments, as well as the aching moments that had you in a chokehold from the way Nicole captured your attention in lock and key.
You couldn't help to fall down the well of overt emotions because of it.
Kid you not, there were many times for me where the couple had me choked up, feeling all that Xavier and Francesca were encountering. Considering how thorough Nicole was in opening the two up to us through their inner monologue that told us all we needed to know.
Following along Xavier and Francesca in their chaotic and hectic journey was a real whirlwind, all of which Nicole made worthwhile.
Last Comes Fate
ended up being another great read, having enjoyed it thoroughly.
And the perfect ending to
Silver Spoons
trilogy series overall.
