good story but….
If you want to read this book, be prepared to “read” through all the typos, grammatical errors and even spelling errors. Very frustrating! Someone should get their proof reading privileges revoked.

Decisions, decisions..... Pretty good second chance story, it does have some sad moments but Becca helps as she figures out to deal with her emotions, old and new. I felt sorry for Robert and how he allowed "unrequited" love to set the stage for his plan. Becca is bold and an open book, Robert is just as bold but attempting to protect his heart. Quincy is a great support character, full of wisdom. I did enjoy their story, it's engaging, steamy and entertaining. I received a free advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to leave a review.

A fun historical romance. Robert is coming back with revenge on his mind......But is it in his heart? I really loved watching Becca and Robert's second chance. Angst. Banter. Old fashioned morals (abused). A shallow plot, but a very entertaining one. I recommend this read.

I liked Robert and Becca’s story. Robert Donovan left New York as a broken-hearted boy. His plan was return to New York a most desirable man and get his revenge. But that’s not quite how it turns out. It was an enjoyable read. And voluntarily leaving this review.
