I absolutely love this series!!! I literally cried and felt so connected to it from reading the first book! The first book was also one of my favorites it was one of many that got me out of a reading slump!

I had high hopes for this book bc I loved the 1st one. This book follows Maya and Colton’s journey. Life is perfect for them until it’s not when Maya has some health complications.

Maya has these nightmares that almost seem like premonitions which cause added stress.

There is some smut in the book. I really like how the characters would reflect on past memories as if they were still in that moment.

I liked this book but was not super into it like the 1st one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really, really love Colton and Maya. The first book is one of my favourites, so it was gonna be tough to beat. However, I really liked it. I would love if the author came out with a "prequel" with more scenes of them younger, like the ones she included in this book (they were my favourite part). I really hope there'll be 3rd book in the installment cause I can't get enough of them. Colton, you have my heart forever. ❤️

Read this book in less than 24 hours. What a perfect happy ending to the first book. After months of waiting for the 2nd book to come out, I am so happy for the way Colton and Maya’s story ended. A true representation of “For better or worse, through sickness and health”. My heart broke for Colton during Maya’s medical emergency. I wish there were more books to this story. I truly felt apart of the book while reading. 5/5

I loved the first book. This book was a let down. For starters why was there no research done into the medical talk in this book?!? A PLACENTAL ABRUPTION CANNOT HEAL ITSELF. I also don’t love all the flash backs in this book felt messy and chaotic.
I do have an appreciation for the love story. However, I really couldn’t make it past the lack of research behind the book.

What an emotional roller coaster this book takes you on. Make sure you have your tissues ready because HOLY CRAP! I thought the first book was sad but this one takes the cake! Just when you think things cannot get worse they do. This book totally left me in a hangover! That being said, the ending was everything. I did not see it ending that way.

left me sobbing… though the first book was filled with plenty of spicy scenes, this one truly gave the story that was created it’s full circle moment. i could not put it down and was left beyond emotional… the first and only book to make me cry. cannot recommend this series and author enough!

after reading the first book in this series - they flowed together well. a quick, “light” read with a decent ending.

I feel like for this to have been a part two, the characters deserved more development than they got.

Meh. I didn't get into it. A lot of perfection then disaster...which is fine but I couldn't get into the characters. Idk..seemed forced. HEA ending predictable

Spent most of my time crying through the book. I hated the way it ended not because it was bad but because I wanted more.

There’s some smut however not like the first one.

Not as great as the first!

I loved reading more about Colt and Maya, the first book is one of my all time favorites. This book was great but not my favorite.

I gave this book 2 stars instead of 1 ONLY because Colt Grant will always make me swoon.

The first book in this series ripped by heart out, stomped on it & still made me fall in love. I was highly anticipating this sequel & was really hoping it would be another heart-wrencher (okay, maybe I wanted it to be a little worse) but I was sorely disappointed. Colt + Maya face some tough struggles and while I admit the big turning point of the book is really sad, every little "could've been" would have made a much better book in my opinion. Something they had to get through TOGETHER. That's not what this ended up being and I'm bitter.
