Thorough and encouraging, with reliable general information about pregnancy, Pilates Pregnancy Guide will be a natural first choice for any expectant mother.
I read through most and appreciated the advice on how to keep active while also not doing certain things that would be a hinderance during pregnancy. Did very few of the workouts as I follow another pregnancy exercise program, but if pilates alone was your desire for focus, it seemed good!
Good for pilates beginners, but if you're not new to the sport, you may find it boring. Really good as far as what pilates moves you should not do during pregnancy. What they did teach in the book was too low-impact for my taste.
