This was a great introductory textbook on clinical psych. I didn't read its entirety, but I read the bulk of it. In the ebook, which is what I used, Pomerantz demonstrated brilliant foresight in breaking up the text into easy-to-digest portions utilizing a minimalist design that ended up making the book almost a joy to read. His explanations of various tools, histories, and contexts were simplistic without verging on shallow; he managed to cover a good amount of depth without either overwhelming or understimulating the reader. I also appreciated much of the corresponding online components, like some of the videos and extra readings. I'd voluntarily read from this author again.
