Casey Sky is a world famous actress who has been in the movies and television shows since she was a child. She is burning out and tired of everyone telling her what to do. She decides that she must take a break so she goes online and decides that Maine looks good as it is very far away and she can disappear. She finds a wonderful town called Sandpiper Cove and there is a wonderful B&B that she can stay at.
She arrives at the B&B and goes to check in and there is a handsome, wonderful young man checking people in. She starts to say her actual name and realizes that then people will know she is there so she says that her name is Casey Smith. Drew the owners son and manager of the B&B checks her in and shows her where her room is. Drew has been a successful financial person and has been working in the world of money in New York. He too is burned out and so when his father passes he leaves the company and comes home to help his mother and take over the running of the B&B and to work with his mother.
Drew takes one look at Casey and is drawn to her. She is very tense and anxious and he makes a pack with himself that he will make her stay everything it can be.
Nobody in this small town seems to know who she is and she has the freedom to go into stores, shops and restaurants without anyone coming to ask for her autograph. She decides that maybe this town is just what she needs. In the meantime her mother and agent are hounding her and they are demanding that she returns right now to complete her obligations.
Drew in the meantime has worked on some things that she might like to do and makes sure that she is getting some relaxation and taking time just for her. As they spend time together Drew is more and more drawn to her and is falling in love with her as she is falling for him.
But, she can't find a way to tell him who she really is even though he has explained to her about his past. Then Drew gets some wonderful news, or he hopes it is and he hopes that Casey will be willing to go with him. But Casey can't and she is going to have to come clean about her life.
Oh what a tangled web we weave/When first we practice to deceive’. What is going to happen when the truth comes rushing out.

What a joy to read. I don't usually read romance novels, but for some reason, this one seemed interesting after reading the reviews. I took the leap and started reading and couldn't put it down. It was a sweet story about a burned-out young actress trying to find out who she really is. She finds solace in a small Maine seacoast town only to check into a seaside inn. I won't give away anymore that than other to say, if you want to be part of a wonderful group of townspeople, and one very particular loving son of the inn owner that is too good to be true (quiet, patient, and understanding), then I highly recommend reading this book.

This is a new author for me and enjoyed her first book of the series. Her characters are enjoyable with problems, which is more realistic. Casey comes to Sandpiper Inn to get away from Hollywood and make some decisions about her future. What she doesn't expect is the peace and comfort she finds. It's almost like coming home and she loves the people she meets. Then add Drew, who works with his mom to run the Inn. Can Casey find true peace or will Hollywood draw her back?

Fantastic
I was hooked from the first page. I enjoyed getting to know all the characters in this clean contemporary romance. The characters are very likable and supportive. I think at some point in anyone's life we need a bark to rediscover who we are whether we are married or single. I highly recommend this book.

confidence and voice
A well-known actress takes a vacation in small town America to find her self. Who is she really? What is her real dream? What will make her happy? Wow there she finds a man wrestling with similar issues. Will the answers for each of them, glue them together, or push them apart read this outstanding book to find out, I highly recommend the book

New Beginnings at Sandpiper Inn
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It was clean, without the language that I try to avoid and without an emphasis on casual sex. The characters interacted by spending time together in a variety of settings, including helping to clean and repair a church following storm damage.

Love a good New England love story and series.
This is a wonderful story. Give me great characters and the waves off the Atlantic and you have me hooked. Ms. Morgan gives a great life to a sea side Inn where everyone is a friend even if you just met. Being from New England the down home Maine feeling in this book is true to life for anyone who has spent any time there.Enjoy!

This is a sweet romance that will keep you turning the pages. It's full of emotions and has wonderful characters that become your friends. I really enjoyed reading this book.

What a lovely story! I love small town settings. Can a famous actress find herself in a small beach town. Will the oldest of the Almada sons be able to help her. Will the lie she's told be what comes between them. Well worth the read.

Casey is a Hollywood actress who needs a break. She secretly books a stay at Sandpiper Inn without letting anyone know where she is, checks in under an alias, and spends her days trying to find herself again. To her surprise, she starts to fall for the owner's son who has moved back from New York to help his mom with the inn. Their romance is slow and sweet, and Casey learns a lot of important lessons that many of us can relate to. The small beach town, Sandpiper Cove, is adorable, and makes me want to move there too! This is book 1 in the series. I look forward to reading the next one!
