FRAMED: The Corruption and Cover- up Behind the Wrongful Conviction of William Michael Dillon and his Twenty-Seven Year Fight for Freedom

Rate this book
This intimate, true-life expose, of one man standing up against a corrupt system that framed him for murder, unveils an ongoing conspiracy and cover-up, revealing one of the darkest stains on Florida’s judicial history.

"An epic indictment of an egregiously flawed justice system that railroaded an innocent man. This was not a case of pursuing justice, all the signs of innocence were ignored by a team hell-bent on "winning" a conviction. Dillon's odyssey will move you to action. Bill is a gifted singer-songwriter and a founding member of the Exoneree Band. A class act and a brave man who fought insurmountable odds."

- Barry Scheck, co-founder of The Innocence Project

"A meticulously researched account of one of the most shameful travesties of justice ever committed by those who are entrusted to protect the innocent as equally as prosecuting the guilty. This book needs to be required reading for all cops and lawyers."

-Marshall Frank, former Miami-Dade, Florida, homicide detective and novelist

"William Dillon inspired us with his story and his music. Now he will inspire many with his book. A must read. Amazing!"

-Maddie DeLone, former Executive Director, The Innocence Project

Amazing miscarriage of justice. Well written and easy to follow. I pray for Bill that God will restore what the locusts have destroyed, or eaten.

This true story of an innocent man framed and wrongly convicted is horrific. This book takes you through fact based accounts of a system gone bad. While his life in prison is unfathomable, perhaps the secondary story of his overcoming such injustice after 27 years is a testament to this man’s strength. Highly recommend this riveting account that will send shivers down your spine.

Finally. free.

I love true crime stories and I live in Brevard County where this all happened. The story was very interesting and was glad that he was released. Hopefully others will also be heard.

My class got the opportunity to speak with Bill after reading this book and my heart was softened. His story is heartbreaking and he is incredibly strong and resilient. Reform is needed and everyone needs to hear his story. I pray that God grants him a lifetime worth of happiness and freedom, and that his hardships will never prove too difficult.
