Keep Your Enemies Closer

Slim has done well for himself. Very well. So well that he realizes it’s time to make the move from illegal to legal and leave the street life behind. By his side he has a good woman and his best friend. As Slim puts things in motion to prepare for his exit, the saying “Man plans and God laughs,” comes into play. Exiting the game will not be easy. Far from it as betrayal, deceit, and revenge stand in his way.

Alex Richardson’s “The Corner: Slim’s Revenge” captured and maintained my interest until the last page. Richardson has penned a street tale with not too far-reaching events and characters that weren’t too over the top. The story was a little slow to start, but once it got going, it maintained a good pace and didn’t dip in development or excitement. There were some glitches in editing.

“The Corner: Slim’s Revenge” was both entertaining and enjoyable. I could easily see myself reading part two.

I really enjoyed this book, This was the first book I have read from this author and I planned on reading the sequel to this book I also had the pleasure of meeting this author and I can tell he is serious about his work so I give you 5 stars and recommend this as a must read..

highly recommended, you won’t regret reading this book

Oh my goodness, I just loved this book. This author is so a talented and creative writer. I can sit and read his book forever. His storylines are the bomb and his characters are so realistic and relatable. I read author Richardson series ‘The Family’ 1st and I don’t know what series was written 1st but I was familiar with some of the characters in this book bc they existed in ‘The Family’ series. This author creativity by connecting the characters in both series made the book more intriguing. Now, I have to say my heart was with Vic and Skills. Everyone that got dealt with dirty deserves it. I didn’t feel sorry for none of these gold digging trifling foul women. Lisa was just a greedy hood rat. She missed her HEA. Myte was a dangerous foul hood rat. I was so happy for her at the end. Hooray for Noonie,I figured it was going to be him. I felt bad for Terrance and Slim bc they both fell in love with the same “Eve” And Peaches,just pathetic.

I read The Corner , my first book by this author and I loved the storyline. The book is well written with lots of action,sex,drama. The story kept you turning the pages. I would highly recommend this book. Look forward to more from this author.

WOOOOOO WEEEEEES...

I'm not gonna get gone yet...slow but interesting start. Slim and his Boyz are quite busy...and that lil heffa is hopefully really really gone...
