If you peek into the night sky and see the Moon and twinkling stars, you're peeking right out into space! Lift the flaps and peek through the holes in the pages to discover the planets in our solar system, see astronauts on the International Space Station and find out what else is in space in this beautifully illustrated book for little children.
Growing up in North West England and in Germany, Anna wrote plays about talking animals, and stories about naughty children, and drew on every available surface. After school, she did an Art Foundation course, then a degree in German Literature & Philosophy at Oxford University. In 1998 she found her perfect job at Usborne in London, writing about everything from curious penguins to trips to the Moon. Usborne.com
This is a very cool book for young kids interested in space. They did a great job of making the illustrations and flaps interactive and accurate and informed but fun.
Really good factual book for kids, but did not like that it drifted from this and included an alien on the very last page. May scare some young children.
