A beautifully illustrated, geography book full of flaps to lift to find answers questions such as “When can I see a shooting star?”, “Where is the tallest waterfall?”, and “What are clouds made of?”. Over 50 flaps to lift answer who, what, when, why and where questions about the weather and seasons, countries and languages around the world, what the Earth is made of and lots more. With a map of the world showing many of the features mentioned in the book.
Katie has been writing non-fiction children's books for almost half her life and loves questioning the world from a child's point of view. She's developed some of Usborne's bestselling series, including the See Inside books and the Lift-the-Flap Questions & Answers series.
I absolutely love this lift the flap book. The book goes through the question words (when, what, why, which, how, where, and yes or no?) and asks questions pertaining to our world. It asks questions dealing with weather, people, locations, recycling, water, and so much more. Great for the preschool question askers in your life!
A note: this book mentions the universe beginning to form 14 billion years ago, the world getting warmer, and alludes to evolution.
