They met on the set of Fresh Hell. Fate took them in separate directions. That’s about to change.
As a retired rock star, Deacon is somewhat bored. That’s the only reason he agrees to do a celebrity season of Fresh Hell ; a reality TV show that takes members of L.A. society and drops them on a working ranch for six weeks. Deacon never expects his roommate on the show to crawl beneath his skin and take over his every thought. Then again, TV isn’t real life, and the show can’t go on forever. Reality waits on the other side.
Blake won a gold medal in figure skating to one of Deacon’s songs. He’s had a crush on the guy for as long as he can remember. Ending up as roommates on the show is just dumb luck. Deacon returning his interest is a dream come true. All fantasies come to an end. He never expects to see Deacon again. Then life takes a tragic turn and the most unlikely hero steps in to save him. Now all he can do is hope he can convince Deacon to keep him.
Inhale is the fourth book in Charity Parkerson’s Fresh Hell series, where it’s something different every day in the battlefield known as life. These are a combination of sports, bi-awakening, and several other sub genres with interconnecting characters. This series is best when read in order.
Charity Parkerson is an award winning and multi-published author with several companies. Born with no filter from her brain to her mouth, she decided to take this odd quirk and insert it in her characters.

This is a review about the series together. I have read dang near every book so far that Charity has out and I love them all! This little series though is one of my more favorite ones from her! It’s not the typical ones, which most of hers has a familiarity to them but is different and that’s one thing I love about her stories!! They feel like they all go together in a way but don’t. These have a more real life like drama/issue part and I think that’s why I loved it so much! I can’t wait to read Ash’s story but I also can’t wait to read more of her Damaged Devils.
S. I figured Stephan was the one that tried to kill him, but what sense did it make. He wanted him to keep ice skating and decided to seriously injure home to the point where he could barely walk THEN ask again??!

This author always has me in my feelings!!!! I like that she’s not afraid to have her characters be saved by love. There’s no “I can’t love someone without loving myself first” in her books. I’m always here for it. I’m just mad we have to wait til next year for Ash’s book!!!
