Vidhushi and Vinay have been classmates, neighbors, coworkers, friends, each being for the other during significant steps unaware of the bigger plan of destiny. The book is divided into seven chapters inspired by an ancient dharmic tradition which has much more values too add to the book apart from just chapter bifurcation. This book is not just Indian based but also Chennai based with tamil references which added a beautiful personal touch! What started to be a conventional book proved to be something unique as I crossed first two chapters and that’s when you get the hang of it. It has character development , healing, growth, family bonding and social responsibility with a blend of romance, Hindu ideology and thriller.

"Farewells are always difficult to handle. But it comes with the hope of meeting again. And it was this hope that makes life captivating and worth living."

✓The book cover said that this is a "Love story with a Dharmic Twist" and its a "romantic thriller". Ive always been interested in reading books related to Dharma and Ancient Indian Culture. Also, who wouldn't want to read a romantic thriller? Thats why, when I came across this book, I decided to pick it up.
✓The book focuses on how Vidushi and Vinay's relationship evolve while they move around different parts of India for special purposes. Pinky's character had a huge impact on me, emotionally. Reading about the torture she had to undergo, stirred up my thoughts. I was satisfied with the ending of the story.
✓Lets first talk about the things that I liked. I liked the concept of Operation Sambhav. It depicted good initiative with creativity. The author has done a good job portraying the characters. Be it Col.Jagan or the lead characters Vidushi and Vinay themselves, all the characters personality matched with their description and complimented the plot. I could relate with Vidushi's overthinking a lot. The chapter introductions given in Sanskrit was a show-stealer and it resonated with the story line. I liked the slow chemistry between Vinay and Vidushi and I loved Vidushi's bond with her father, Mahesh. The concept of the Pheras has been nicely explained. The language is lucid too.
✓Lets now come to things that disappointed me a little. I appreciate the authors efforts to establish a link between this love story, the thrill and add a dharmic twist to it. But, it all just didn't add up well for me. I struggled reading the book during the first half. I think that certain areas have been unnecessarily exaggerated and focused on. The narration is good but could have been better. Too many characters made it a little difficult for me to keep a track of the plot. Even the cover, in my opinion, could have been a lot better.

"Often, destiny has its own plans for fulfilling our dreams most harmoniously at the right time."

Destiny truly has its own tactics of making things happen in the most magnificent way possible. The book "A Thing Called Destiny" instills this belief in the heart of every reader who dares to journey through the novel.

Vidushi meets Vinay unexpectedly at a time when she is slowly trying to take back the control of her life. But it wasn't destiny that played behind the encounter this time. It was actually Vinay's meticulous plan and his desire to fulfill Operation Sambhav with her. A mission inspired from a Dharmic tradition with seven elaborate phases, it takes them on an incredible journey across India.

Traveling with the protagonists on this nationwide journey, the readers will not only stand witness to their challenges but also learn the true essence of human relationships and gain a deeper understanding of our motherland’s history, customs, values and traditions.

Promising to be a romantic thriller, the book entails multiple love stories that run alongside some thrilling adventures, challenging the characters to muster their courage and emerge victorious. The book is indeed a proof that our struggles, hardships and challenges shape our entire being and turn us into a stronger person.

"There are times when we need to walk the road all alone... It makes us realize how strong we are."

Several plots are tied together in this single novel that offers great knowledge about our ancient dharmic traditions and the rituals and customs that makes it so unique, which can add more value to our life if we embrace them wholeheartedly.

Along the ride, we also get to learn a lot about our country as the protagonists journey across India while supplying us with deeper insights into our motherland’s cultural heritage. The ride through India was truly a spiritual journey that not only made the protagonists realize different cultures and traditions strewn across the country but also look deep inside themselves and understand their true self. And journeying with them, the readers can feel the same.

Elements like humour, sarcasm, nature's blessings, friendly banters, meaningful conversations, filmy quotes, bookish references and a framed tale where Vidushi reads a novel add to the beauty of the story while the use of colloquial phrases and vernacular language give it a Indian touch.

"The beauty of Hinduism, or our country, for that matter, lies in its diversity."

But the most astounding aspect of the book was the Dharmic significance of the entire tour through the seven cities across India that reminds one of the seven pheras of the traditional Indian marriage. With such an unique portrayal of the tradition of Saptapadi in the book, the author brings to light the importance of all the values that are deeply ingrained in our Indian culture which have the power to turn us into a responsible ambassador of humanity, if we give them a chance to open our mind.

A cloud of mystery and a curtain of suspense prevails throughout the book that continues till the end, which comes with a mind-blowing twist. It's here that the actual meaning of the sanskrit shlokas from the seven phases of their journey are revealed, meticulously bringing out the Dharmic essence of the story.

And even when the book doesn't end on a prominent cliffhanger, there is a subtle hint of a sequel, perhaps to another amazing tale on a journey called life! And that's enough for the readers to stay rooted, hoping to step on another such thrilling ride through our Dharmic traditions.

"A Thing Called Destiny indeed exists that ensures that if you genuinely desire something with your heart...the Universe will conspire to manifest it in your reality."

As the story progresses, Vidushi and Vinay embark on a bittersweet journey across India, encountering diverse challenges and meeting people who display the essence of human relationships. The seamless fusion of romance and suspense creates a riveting narrative that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. The author's exquisite portrayal of the Indian cultural heritage is admirable and is brilliantly woven into the plot. The underlying theme of the book is the relevance of ancient Indian traditions in the modern world. Although the story starts off slow, it gradually picks up pace as the seven phases of Operation Sambhav begin to unravel. The characters are well-crafted, and their emotions and experiences are relatable, making it easy for readers to empathize with them. The author's attempt to infuse this love story with a thrilling dharmic twist is commendable, but it may not sit well with every reader.

•||BOOK REVIEW||•

This book, as the description suggests, is a love story with a dharmic twist. It introduces us to the protagonists Vidushi and Vinay. Vidushi is going through a tough time, facing certain drawbacks that make her miserable. However, she has the confidence to make things right. On the other hand, Vinay is a former NCC cadet who needs to complete a mission called Operation Sambhav, inspired by a Dharmic tradition. But for that, he requires Vidushi's companionship by his side. After 13 years, their paths unexpectedly cross. But was it really unexpected or the play of destiny? Yet, destiny is also created through our plans and actions, isn't it? So, was their meeting planned? Vidushi then embarks on Vinay's mission, which requires them to travel to different locations across India. Their love story is unfolded through the phases of Seven Pheras or Saptapadi, the seven promises made during marriage. The plotline of this book is unique from other love stories as it shows the relevance of ancient customs in today's time, the greater wisdom hidden in simple words, and the extraordinary within the ordinary. We also witness the development of their bond, the blossoming of love between them, and the individual character growth infused with traditions, culture, ethics, patience, and perseverance, conveying the Dharmic significance in the contemporary world. I also appreciated the use of Sanskrit quotations in the book.

The story kept me intrigued until the end. The emotional aspects of the characters and the sense of suspense that gradually unraveled as the story progressed were interesting to read. Despite the book's length of around 350 pages, the fast-paced narrative made it easy and enjoyable to read efficiently. The detailed and picturesque writing style enhanced the reading experience, allowing us to vividly imagine the places the protagonists visited, making it a perfect summer vacation read. The plotline and the execution of Vidushi and Vinay's love story were unique, and the characters were well-written. I particularly enjoyed reading about Vidushi's character development. She was in a place of turmoil in her life, but she regained her confidence and took charge of her life. The language used in the book is easy to understand and can be comprehensible even for beginners. The blend of twists and turns keeps readers hooked. Overall, I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to everyone who loves adventure-filled romantic thrillers.

"A Thing Called Destiny" is a book with a twist. It revolves around love, hate, treachery, recuperation, a thrill ride, and, to wrap things up, a definitive twist that incorporates social values. Indeed, dharma is the fundamental storyline of the book.

The story starts with Vinay and Vidusha meeting again after 13 years. Vidusha believes that destiny played its part, but little did she know it is a well-laid plan by Vinay. He badly needs her in his mission, which incorporates the social customs of living.

The entire journey of our heroes, Vinay and Vidushi, is divided into seven phases of a mission called "Sambhav," which was planned and executed to fulfill a serious need connected with human tracking within the country. Vinay, as a central person in this mission, chooses to execute it with utmost dominance, using tactics and people. Unfortunately, he has to involve Vidushi in that mission without her knowledge. However, this is not an easy task. Vidushi, an intelligent person with a good education and a successful career, chooses to live a life of her own will. This will lead her to many problems.

I loved both the main characters, Vidushi and Vinay. Both were such quintessential Indians, yet unique in their own way, who pull you along in their journey. I loved the character development of Vidushi, something felt healing while reading those parts. I also liked the way the relationship blossomed naturally between the two of them, making it real in its own way.

The challenges faced during each phase, the emotions the characters go through, and the touch of suspense throughout make it an interesting read. Adding to this is the fact that the author has given a descriptive narration of the places, lifestyle, and culture of the places where each of these phases takes place, bringing the story right in front of your eyes.

The writing style is clear, and the characters are well-written. The character development is at its best. It is one of the most outstanding dharmic plots I have read in some time. The inclusion of culture, customs, people, and nature is absolutely striking. Moreover, Vidushi's love for gardening is something deeply interesting.

I can give 5/5

"Farewells are always difficult to handle. But it comes with the hope of meeting again. And it was this hope that makes life captivating and worth living."
The story revolves around the protagonist, Vidushi, and Vinay. Vidushi is brave, charming, and jovial by nature. She has a unique quality of making strangers feel comfortable talking to her. Vinay is quite reserved, extremely brilliant, protective, and good at heart.
Both of them accidentally cross paths after 13 years. This time, when they meet, Vidushi is in the hospital striving from a mini-accident but is saved by the grace of God. Vinay takes care of her. Gradually as their friendship blossoms, Vidushi remembers canceling on Vinay due to one reason or another. But this time, something big and fishy is being planned under her nose, and she is unaware of it.
Vinay, an NCC Cadet, has a major responsibility to accomplish Operation Sambhav at any cost. This mission requires his major company with Vidushi while on a nationwide journey without her knowledge. All the members or persons close to Vidushi are guiding and motivating Vinay to step further and complete this task. But what seems easy is the most difficult way to win a girl's heart, especially when her boyfriend Tushaar betrayed her trust.
Coming to the beautiful part that sets this story apart from the routine ones is the author's amazing storytelling and their ability to convey the significance and importance of the Dharmic Tradition in the modern era and the importance of our traditions and beliefs. The novel explores the importance of the seven promises associated with the Hindu wedding ritual of Saptapadi. Set in various cities and states of India, including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Coimbatore, Shillong, and Dehradun, the novel beautifully depicts the diverse cultures and traditions of India. I liked the author’s addition of Sanskrit verses at the beginning of each Phase along with the translation.
I would highly recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys reading about missions, and thrillers. The novel has everything from suspense, action, and romance, making it a perfect blend of genres. Happy reading ❤️.

“A Thing Called Destiny indeed exists that ensures that if you genuinely desire something with all your heart and it is meant to develop you into something better than what you are now, the Universe will conspire to manifest it in your reality.
But how often does this work?
ALWAYS...”
This book is a beautiful read based on love story which will make you believe in love all over again. The protagonists are Vinay and Vidushi. A love story which is being described with a touch of ancient dharmic tradition. The book is divided into seven parts. Each parts opens up with a Sanskrit shloka that translates into the meaning as well. “Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah” is a popular Sanskrit phrase that appears in the Mahabharata and in verse 8.15 of Manusmriti. It can be loosely translated as “Dharma protects those who protect it”.
The one who destroys dharma, dharma destroys them, and one who protects dharma, dharma also will protect them. Vinay is an army guy and vidushi falls madly in love with him but she’s in misconception that maybe Vinay is already dating someone. But she’s hoping inside that the girl is she herself. She reminds herself not to over imagine things so much that she began to accept them as reality and get hurt in the process. Vinay writes a book named “Saptapadi” and considers it to be a testimony of their marriage. Now how this marriage takes place within a blink of an eye is something to be cherished and get inspired as well at the same time. I absolutely loved and adored their journey. If you have loved watching the movie “Shershaah by Siddharth & Kiara “, the love story of Captain Vikram Batra & Dimple Cheema then I am sure that you all will love reading this book. As it says that if you truly manifest something in your life whatever it is, the entire universe will conspire to make it happen for you. And it’s not a coincidence, everything is already written for you and you just need to connect the dots. To know more in details you NEED TO read this book without thinking twice.

The first few lines of the Blurb were enough to pique my interest! Vinay and Vishushi the key players in this plot are the characters who kept me going to find out where it would all lead to!
When things happen in life, we all accredit them to happen coz of destiny and here too, as the title suggests, things happen coz of destiny.
The main characters – Vinay and Vishushi are easy to relate to. They sound just like someone we know but of course, Vinay has some covert mission going on that includes Vishushi and she must not find out about it.
The author has skillfully blended romance and thriller genres, and the story flows, making the reader eager to learn more about their relationship and Operation Sambhav.
As with many thrillers, there are twists, but you get to experience a Dharmic twist here!
I felt the story started slowly and then picked up speed. The seven phases of Operation Sambhav started making sense. I was delighted when parts of the story took place at Coimbatore’s Sulur Air Force as it is my hometown and it has a special spot in my heart.
The author has brought family and cultural values into the storyline. The characterization is good and the way they blend into the story is really nice. Also, the author does not give away the plot but the reader is slowly pulled into it and the ending is both beautiful and unexpected.
The challenges faced during each phase, the emotions the characters go through, and the touch of suspense all through make it an interesting read. Adding to this is the fact that the author has given a descriptive narration of the places and lifestyle and culture of the places where each of these phases takes place bringing the story right in front of your eyes.
I also liked the author’s addition of Sanskrit verses at the beginning of each Phase along with the translation.
The cover is fitting for the theme.
If you are looking for something different to read then you can pick this one as it as the right mix of romance, thrill, and s

A Thing Called Destiny

Author- iBharatiyaWriter

My Rating-⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My Review-

Destiny… Does it really exist?? I must say that I really don't know if it's real or not. But reading this book made a wonderful impression on me for Destiny. I indeed felt that there is A Thing Called Destiny…

Being an ardent reader and a huge fan of thrillers, this book has given much more than what a regular thriller book can give. A Romantic thriller with Indian Dharmic touch is something, this book leaves no stone unturned to surprise the readers with its amazing plot twists and great storyline…

The main protagonists of this book Vinay and Vidushi are in Operation Sambhav. The twist here is Vidushi , a strong and independent girl whose fate had turned upside down due to an incident, didn't know that she is in this Operation Sambhav. And What is this Operation Sambhav, to know it we should go into the book…

This book is divided into seven phases, which are named in Sanskrit verses along with their meanings which are the promises that one makes to another. To be honest I was completely confused yet mesmerised while reading the starting pages of this book. It's really an amazing experience to read this book to find out what happens next, even though it's a bit slow paced.

Along with the thrill, this book introduces readers to the Cultures, traditions and ethics of India in a perfect way. This book takes time to explore, but once you get into it, it's nearly impossible to get off our mind. Apart from our main protagonists couple and the dharmic twists there is one more thing I loved the most is the Father and Daughter bond of Vidushi and her father. I like the way he gave her the freedom and made her independent to take bold decisions at any point of time, which is clearly evident in the hospital scene.

The more I say about this amazing book, the more spoilers will be added. So I finally say that this is a book that every Indian reader loves and adores. Highly recommended!! Happy Reading ❤️😊….

"A Thing Called Destiny" by I.BharatiyaWriter

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)

As I embarked on my journey thru the enchanting paradise of Kashmir, I couldn't help but feel attracted by the breathtaking beauty that surrounded me. Towering deodar and pine trees stood tall, their branches gently swaying in the crisp mountain breeze. The snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas loomed majestically in the distance, painting a picture-perfect backdrop against the azure sky.

Amidst this natural splendour, I found solace in the pages of "A Thing called Destiny." The book struck a chord with me because it explored the profound idea of seven vows that included love, duty, and dedication. The novel skillfully woven the personal adventures of its characters with their duties to the country, drawing inspiration from the region's vibrant Hindu culture. It unfolded beautifully throughout different cities of India.
I admired Vinay for his caring love for Vidushi, i adored Vidushi's character for being so strong, yet the energetic girl starts every sentence with "Waise hi "

I couldn't help but think about the themes in the book as I strolled through Kashmir's picturesque valleys and sparkling lakes. I came to understand the significance of accepting my own obligations to the world around me, just like the characters in "A Thing Called Destiny" did when they embraced their vows. Instilling a sense of responsibility for the “Operation Sambhav”.

Additionally, the welcoming nature of the locals reflected the book's depictions of love and compassion. I learned the beauty of cultural exchange and the power of creating connections that cross boundaries while enjoying traditional Kashmiri cuisine and having sincere conversations with the locals.

As the tranquilly of the surroundings echoed the profound spirituality found in "A Thing called Destiny," every step I took in Kashmir felt like a pilgrimage. It served as a reminder that destiny is also a journey, one that calls for tenacity and conviction.

Loved the overall experience 😊

"A Thing Called Destiney" is a love story with a Dharmic Twist. Our main protagonists are Vidushi & NCC Cadet Vinay. They cross each other's path after 13 years. I think thats what their destiny wanted it. Vidushi who was recovering from her past accident, And tired from life meet Vinay who had a never give up attitude, A mature gentle man helped her to get her life on track. But there is a twist in the plot. Our vidushi didn't knew about it, It was quietly planned by Vinay, The Mission "Operation Sambhav". This mission needed Vidushi to be with him without her knowing. This mission is inspired from a Dharmic tradition, that involved six critical phases, which required her to be present by his side at different locations across India. Will Vinay successfully accomplised it? What if Vidushi finds out?
.
This book is a blend of romance & mystery. I hooked to the book. It was perfectly written. Apart from the love story it shows light on various aspects among them is Vidushi's character. I loved her development throught out the mission. She learnt about love, life, gratitude, value of human relationships, her strenghth & weaknesses. And got back her self confidence which was lost in the past. Her transformation is impressive.
.
Along with her the other characters that drew my attention are Poorni, Shefali, Mahesh, Mr. Aiten, Colonel Jagan each one are my favourite. And has their own qualities to attracts readers attention. They all are the important part of Mission Sambhav.
.
The story also pour light on Indian forgotten values, traditions, cultures & ethics. Author has build the plot by exploring various different cities & their different culture & values in the story through mission Sambhav. I came to know about the Hindu wedding ritual "Saptapadi" in detail. Author has divided the chapters in 7 sections & given the name of these 7 promises that newly wed couple takes together during the wedding caremony. I'm in love with Vidushi & Vinay's love marriage. And highly recommend you to join this journey of Operation Sambhav.

"A Thing Called Destiny indeed exists that ensures that if you genuinely desire something with all your heart and it is meant to develop you into something better than what you are now, the Universe will conspire to manifest it in your reality."
The above quoted dialogue is one of my favourite lines from the book, that basically sums up the entire story within and around.

The dynamic of the main protagonists, Vinay and Vidushi, is a perfect balance of thrill and romance. Well, not from the beginning tho. Destiny keeps working to make them bump into each other again and again, until the attraction is originally farmed (pun intended).

Vidushi, who was formerly in a toxic relationship and is also recovering from a grave accident which had involved both her and Vinay, but the latter was barely wounded while she had to go under the complete recovery process to set herself back into the working of life, one small step at a time.

Vinay, a former NCC cadet, who is thriving back into the life of Vidushi for the execution of Operation Sambhav.
He needs her in different cities throughout the country, and the execution is to be done without her knowledge. The best part? It had me grip the edges of the book with the way the whole Operation Sambhav was carried out.

7 cities, 7 Pheras, and the hint of 7 well depictable on the book cover makes the story a whole lot interesting. The book, as well, is divided into 7 phases, each beginning with beautiful lines.

Perspicuous writing style. Well-written characters. Character development at its finest. One of the best dharmic plots I have read in a while. The inclusion of culture, rituals, people, and nature is absolutely remarkable. Plus, the love of Vidushi towards planting is something that is highly relatable. It would have been a better experience if the story was a bit fast paced, but nevertheless, loved the story right from the engaging riddle by a teenage girl to Vinay cutting his thumb with a blade to use his blood instead of vermilion (Capt. Vikram Batra moment *swoons*).

"A Thing Called Destiny" is a beautifully crafted love story that takes readers on an enchanting journey through the vibrant and diverse landscapes of India. From the very first page, readers are captivated by the author's unique and fresh concept, which is brilliantly executed through well-developed characters, an engaging plot, and a writing style that is both immersive and captivating.

The story follows Vinay and Vidushi as they travel to different locations in India, each with its own unique culture and traditions. As they journey together, Vinay must keep Vidushi's secret about the true purpose of their travels, adding an element of mystery and intrigue to the story. Along the way, they encounter a diverse cast of characters, each with their own stories and struggles, which adds depth and dimension to the narrative.

One of the most impressive aspects of this book is the author's ability to seamlessly weave together different themes and elements, including love, adventure, culture, and spirituality. The exploration and explanation of different tribes, cultures, and places in the book are not only informative but also deeply moving, highlighting the rich heritage and diversity of India.

The characters in the book are well-drawn and multi-dimensional, with their own unique quirks and personalities. The chemistry between Vinay and Vidushi is palpable, and readers will find themselves rooting for them throughout the story. The addition of Dharmik as a twist adds an extra layer of complexity to the plot, keeping readers on the edge of their seats until the very end.

Overall, "A Thing Called Destiny" is a must-read for anyone who loves a good love story with a touch of adventure and mystery. The writing is top-notch, the characters are relatable and engaging, and the plot is both entertaining and thought-provoking. Highly recommended for fans of contemporary romance and Indian literature.

The book “A Thing Called Destiny” is written by iBhartiyaWriter. The novel is a gripping and heartwarming tale of love, loss, and self-discovery. The characters are well-developed, and their struggles and triumphs are relatable, making it easy for readers to connect with them.
The story is written in a way that keeps the reader engaged, with twists and turns that keep the plot interesting.

The story revolves around the protagonists Vinay and Vidushi. They both had a sparking chemistry between them however the Vidhushi’s life has been a roller coaster ride of up and downs from the past few years. Keeping that aside she is the kind of girl who can keep everyone entertained as on that part of the book when the train was heading towards Avadi. She pulled off a thrilling story of two tigers which caught the attention of all the fellow passengers and some of the passengers even skipped two stations just to know who was the person that the second tiger eat.

Going forward in the story Vidushi again came across Vinay however it was not just a mere act of destiny as it was a plan made by Vinay Vinay, who needed her to fulfill Operation Sambhav: A mission inspired from an age-old Dharmic tradition, that involved six critical phases, which required Vidushi to be present by his side at different locations across India. You will really be amazed reading the action part where Vinay and Vidhusi get into an enemy vehicle and struggle to fight the enemies together. There are such different phases of the Oper Sambhav where the team work between Vinay and Vidhusi will win your hearts.

The way the author has written the book is praise-worthy and the way the plot develops is phenomenal. The narration used in the book is at its best. I bet you won't be able to put the book down unless you complete it as it keeps you glued to your seat. A must-read for all the action thrill lovers out there!

"Love story with a Dharmic Twist"
As a firm believer in destiny, the above statement prompted me to pick up the book. The plot concentrates entirely upon our protagonists Vidushi and Vinay, their friendship, and the objective they are on, as stated in the description. So we can definitely see a combination of romance and mystery here, but what else is expected is India's beliefs, culture, and history. So there are a lot of mythical themes as well. This is where it all gets a little elevated.

I had a lot of second thoughts while reading the narrative and was about to give it a three-star rating, but I ended up giving it a four-star rating thinking that the story just wasn't for me.
Even though I was not that compelled to read it, the content was all worthwhile. The author did a good job of incorporating romance, mystery, and mythology, but it was all so exaggerated that it made me want to stop in between quite few times. So, instead of explaining the book, I'd just mention what I liked and didn't like about it.

Likes-
-A powerful female character.
-use of ancient Sanskrit verses.
-Simple and straightforward narrative approach.
-Characterization was excellent, with each character having their own well-written backstory.
-Representing Indian ideologies with strange undertones and propagating Indian customs.
-Pride in the nation, spirituality, and the importance of emotions and belongingness.

Dislikings:
-I'd say the straightforward narration actually may be a drawback as well because that's what made me a bit bored.
-A plot that goes too far.
-The book's title seemed justified but it breaks my heart to state that the cover didn't appear to have worked out so well.

Like I mentioned, I would have given it three stars, but I'm giving it four since it had so many nice elements in it that didn't fit together properly, and the book was simply not for me.
Recommended for individuals who enjoy a spiritual journey with a dash of intrigue and romance.

🌺 This book gave me a sense of pride for our nation, our motherland when i completed it.

🌺 This book revolves around Vinay and Vidushi and their family.

🌺 While Vinay is reserved man, having utmost dedication towards his nation. Vidushi is bubbly, talkative and extrovert woman.

🌺I admired both of them for their bravery honestly towards thier work and courage to stand against wrong things.

🌺 Vinay and Vidushi are one of those couple where destiny keeps making them bump into each other again and again, so here in this love story destiny played cupid for them.

🌺 They keep meeting each other in 13 years again and with every meeting, Vidushi feels that she never tried enough to know Vinay fully, Even when Vinay was gentle and helpful to her from them.

🌺On the other hand, Vinay was trying hard to implement his "Opreation Sambhav" for which he needed Vidushi by his side any how.

🌺 But what is Mission Sambhav? Why does he need Vidushi for that ? What if Vidushi knows about this before the mission ends ? Will she understand his situation?

🌺I love how smooth and simple the narration style was, it was easy to go with the flow.

🌺 The most beautiful thing was - both of bump into each other in 7 different cities in 13 years and that's how they completed 7 pheras - as you can connect it to the beautiful cover.

🌺I admired Vinay for his gentle yet caring love for Vidushi, while i adored Vidushi's character for being so strong, yet the bubbly girl starts every sentence with "Waise hi " .

🌺Vinay is someone who put his nation first, even his personal life has been tough, but he still move on.

🌺 The narration was so well researched and put together, especially with all the army and armed forces, patriotism things that gives shine to the story.

🌺 Vinay's mom and sister - are strong supporting character in the story.

🌺 Recommended to all romance lovers this - romantic story with a, dharmic twist, as the title says !

This is the story of Vinay and Vidushi - a book full of thrill with a hint of love and an angle of Dharmic twist. Both of them have been struggling with their respective lives for many years. They meet each other after 12 years when Vidushi is in the hospital bed injured by an accident.

Vinay is a former NCC cadet who is on a secret mission named "Operation Sambhav". This mission includes six phases which are in six different places in India. Vinay has to carry out the mission seamlessly without letting Vidushi know anything about it.

To know more, grab it and give it a try.

✓ The cover is okay, but I like the concept of including the Indian map on the cover, which gives it a crunch.
✓ The writing style is thrilling, captivating with a pinch of romance, and the Dharmic aspect makes it a unique kind of read.
✓ The language used in this book is quite fascinating. It's easy to understand and quite relatable to the storyline.
✓ All the characters are developed quite precisely in this book, with a nice backdrop. However, one thing I want to highlight is that the number of characters can be reduced to make it more crisp.
✓ The theme of the book is quite idiosyncratic, and the author executed it with sheer brilliance.
✓ The use of Sanskrit verses in between the phases is the real show-stopper for me. I was expecting some of them in the plotline as well, which would have given the book a different height for sure.
✓ The narration could have been better as the author mostly focused on the thrilling part and somehow ignored the romantic part. It's a slowly burning romantic book that can be more appealing.
✓ The book is unnecessarily stretched in some parts, which breaks the reading flow.
✓ The book is nicely paced, keeping you hooked up till the last page, with a unique concept.

"There is nothing called itni si baat"

I thing called destiny is a book with twist. It revolves around love, hate, betrayal, recovery, thriller and last but not least the ultimate twist which includes the cultural value. Yes, dharma is the main storyline of the book.

Vinay and Vidusha are brought together again after 13 years. Vidusha thinks its destiny that played its role but little did she knows it is a well-laid plan by Vinay. He badly wants her into his mission which includes the cultural traditions of living.

It takes great strength to bounce back in life and when one encounter a tough time to pick up the life, some obstacles and twist comes into action. Vidusa is included to be a part of Operation Sambhav without her knowledge. They travel across India to carry out the traditional values of 7 pheras. Each pheras is named in its Sanskrit form in the book. One can get to know about the richness of Indian culture.

Each phase has its own task to be carried out. This makes the story engaging and keeps the reader attached towards the book. Even though the book is quite big it doesn't bother at all. The twist keeps you attached with each page. The book is a perfect pick for vacation time to keep us busy. A well-crafted plot line with unique culture and blend of twist makes us to be hooked into the book.

The writing style of the book is very understandable and does not have any complex form of storyline this made me to go along with the book and doesn't get confused in between. The cover of the book is catchy and gives us a quick preview about what the book is all about.

The book also concluded with a assurance that destiny does exist and the universe conspires to manifest what we truly desire.

People often believe in destiny. As humans, we all have different opinions, wishes, future plans, and fantasy ideas, but in the end, only destiny decides what happens at the end. It may favor a few people, but it often brings happiness to most people. This book gives a different perspective on destiny.

The book is divided into seven different phases, including the prologue and opening scenes. I really loved the short story about a girl who shared a riddle to keep the people traveling on the train engaged. And the funny answer she gave after leaving the people to die out of eagerness and suspense

Then the story slowly starts, where two people, Vinay and Vidushi, meet in a tragic accident. Vinay was barely wounded, and Vidushi was badly hurt. Once Vinay regained consciousness, he remembered Vidushi mourning in pain. He rushed to find her and felt at ease after learning that she was fine.

What is Operation Sambhav? Why did Vinay pull Vidushi into that mission and also make sure that Vidushi shouldn’t know about the happenings?

Vidushi met Vinay after many years, but she still refused to see him and avoided all chances of meeting him in the hospital. She decided to leave for Kerala to pursue her dream of organic farming.

After her accident, she happened to meet Vinay over there. Without intention, she slowly became attracted to him. As she was out of a toxic relationship, she really loved this feeling and decided to meet Vinay very often. What happens next is the rest of the story.

Destiny really brought these people together and made things work as she really wanted. Read them to know the interesting ending!

A story you want to read, A story you ll love it. I ll highly recommend you all to read the story. The story is awesome, sometime emotional. Some people feel like they are going through it.

Love is complicated if it is not handled in a proper way. It is a blessing and it is a curse. What if love comes in your way and the situations turn your fate up-side-down?

One such story is "A Thing Called Destiny: Love story with a Dharmic Twist".

The plot of the story revolves around vinay and vidushi. At a time when Vidushi, with her never-give-up fauji brat attitude, was taking back control of her life one step at a time, she unexpectedly bumps into Vinay, as it has been happening since the last 13 years. What she doesn't know, is that it wasn't destiny this time around, but meticulous planning by the former NCC cadet Vinay, who needed her to fulfill Operation Sambhav: A mission inspired from an age-old Dharmic tradition, that involved six critical phases, which required Vidushi to be present by his side at different locations across India. The catch being he would be executing this mission without Vidushi’s knowledge. But what if Vidushi finds out?
Fate takes a strange turn.
Will they recreate their love and passion for each other ?

I usually do not get into love stories stuff, my husband ordered it and I just casually started reading it and it developed my interest as much as I could not left it without completing whole story. Once you will start I am sure you won't leave it in between. All phrases and events are well described by author, the story is all about life is priceless and you can enjoy it or destroy it all is in your hands.
Worth buying!

The book, "A Thing Called Destiny" is a romantic thriller with an addition of a dharmic tradition, that will keep you stuck till the end.

The book revolves around the story of Vinay and Vidushi. After a gap of 13 long years, destiny brings Vinay and Vidushi together in Kerala, in such a way that no one had imagined before.

This time, not actually destiny but Vinay knowingly has bumped into Vidushi with an intention to accomplish his mission. Mission Sambhav:A mission which is inspired by a Dharmic tradition and most importantly which consists of seven phases, where the presence of Vidushi with Vinay is mandatory in order to complete the mission in 7 different parts of India. But the thing is Vidushi is unaware of the mission even though she is a major part of it.
In order to know if she finds out the truth or not, you need to read this book.

The book being divided into seven chapters named after the sanskrit verses of seven pheras much like a promise which are a part of an Indian marriage ritual grabbed my attention and made the story even more attractive!

Seeming to be a bit slow at the beginning, but soon became a shocker with a perfect blend of romance, thrill, cultural traditions, twists and most importantly a Dharmic twist, I really enjoyed the book!I loved the part where little Vidushi's father made her understand that there's nothing called as "itni si baat".If someone does anything, he/she needs to explain the reason behind it.

All the characters are well-defined in the story, playing their roles perfectly. The cover of the book is quite okay but I loved how the author's perfect writing made the story even more interesting.

It is saying that if you really desire something from the heart ... then the whole universe will work towards getting you that. The story of A thing called Destiny shares the same story of courage, patriotism, culture, friendship, relationship & love bonded by destiny.

The whole journey of our protagonists, Vinay and Vidushi is divided into seven phases of a mission called 'Sambhav' which was designed and executed to serve a serious purpose related to human tracking inside the country. Vinay, as a central character in this mission opted to execute this mission with utmost mastery, using tactics and people. Unfortunately, he has to involve Vidushi in that mission without her knowledge. But this wasn't an easy task. Vidushi, an intelligent fellow, has decent education with a bright career but opted to live a life of her will. This will lead her to many problems. With people and unfortunate incidents risking her life. Sometimes she was left alone but after meeting with Vinay, she felt that some part of her was fulfilled.

The whole story concludes after seven chapters, the 'saptpadis', a dharmic Sanatan tradition in India that binds two souls for a lifetime. Marriage. But in a unique and adventurous way.

The whole story is an exploration of Indian culture, physiography, and its people. We can see what problem we have in the country and what should be the actions. Moreover, this book has combining themes of caring and love, which makes it more engaging and soothing.
I like the story except for some points where the story takes time. Some attributes break the flow but overall it is an enjoyable read.

A Thing Called Destiny is an engaging and unique blend of romance, thriller, and an unconventional way of representing ancient Indian traditions, beliefs, and spiritualism. The plot revolves around Vidushi, who is trying to take control of her life after facing several setbacks. She meets Vinay, a former NCC cadet who has planned a mission 'Operation Sambhav' inspired by an age-old Dharmic tradition. The mission involves seven critical phases, which require Vidushi to be present at different locations across India, along with Vinay but without her knowledge.

The author has done an excellent job of weaving the elements of romance, thriller, and spiritualism into the story. The plot is well-crafted and keeps the reader engaged throughout. The character development is also noteworthy, especially Vidushi's transformation from a miserable state to a strong-willed person who takes charge of her life.

The inclusion of the age-old Dharmic tradition and weaving 'Saptapadi,' the seven pheras (seven circumambulations around the holy fire) from Hindu marriage tradition with the evolving relationship of Vinay and Vidushi in seven different states of India adds depth to the plot and makes the story thought-provoking.

Overall, "A Thing Called Destiny" is a captivating read that offers a wholesome reading experience. The author's writing style is engaging and keeps the reader hooked until the very end. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a good romance, thriller, or spiritual read.

Book Name: A Thing Called Destiny: Love Story with a Dharmic Twist

Author: iBharatiyawriter

Genre: Romantic Thriller

"A Thing Called Destiny: Love Story with a Dharmic Twist" written down by iBharatiyawriter. The Story revolves around a mission called "Operation Sambhav" which has seven phases to accomplish it successfully. Vinay, a NCC Cadet is leading the assignment along with Vidushi, who is healing from the trauma of his toxic past. "Operation Sambhav" has to be accomplished in different parts of India, and both Vinay and Vidushi have to be present there to complete the seven phases. The twist is that Vinay has to accomplish the seven phases with Vidushi without telling her anything about the mission. The story revolves around the theme of love, romance, patriotism, and toxic relationship.

I have read lots of romantic and thriller books till now, but this was the first time for me to read and experience something like a romantic thriller. After finishing this, I am wondering whether Love, pure and selfless as Vinay has for Vidushi does exist in this era where people have started considering lust as love.

What will happen when Vidushi will come to know about the Operation??? Whether she is going to trust Vinay further? Or the Operation Sambhav will get stopped? Why Vinay has to accomplish Operation Sambhav with Vidhushi only, but without letting her know? To know the answers to all these questions and to know more about Operation Sambhav, you have to read the book first.

Merely 368 pages cannot tell everything, I would have loved an elaborative read. I am talking about my latest read “A Thing Called Destiny” which is penned by iBharatiyaWriter.

It is a story involving two extremes of our society: Mythological and Logical. You might be surprised by it too, as to how these themes are amalgamated. To console and fully empathize with you is easy for me right now, as I did feel the same in the beginning.

Mythology is beautifully blended with the realist world portraying the logical side of the characters. And before we move, let me tell you more about the characters - the major roles owned by Vidushi and Vinay, wherein Vinay is playing a larger sphere of responsibilities, and Vidushi is seen following the path carved by Vinay. The story is set in the army camps, western ghats, and the scenic beauty of the south.

It is a beautiful narration of twists and turns that Vinay plans for Vidushi and trust me you are here to enjoy the ride Vinay will never let you slip out of Operation Sambhav which he is on and wants Vidushi to help him.

I thought the book might be boring, and trust me, one of my friends suggested this book for good, but the writing style involves Hinglish and a lot of YAR to give it a realistic touch and relatability with the Indian reader. This book tries a thrilling writing style to evoke the readers with plot twists with amazement.

I recommend this book to the ones who enjoy reading Indian characters a lot, especially those who are too comfortable with the language. All in all, this book is here to keep you gripped.

Well, what a beautiful journey reading this book has indeed been. Love stories are my favourite to read, and the added elements in this book were nothing short of a treat.
The best part about this book for me was that Vinay didn't propose to Vidushi when she was surfacing from her bitter past and was really vulnerable, because at that time she would have accepted him just because she was feeling low.
Another best part about this book was the portrayal of some brave souls like Prema, Shefali, and Poorni, who made sure that their efforts made a difference in someone's life and in society as a whole.
Now, as for Vinay, what girl wouldn't do to get a life partner like him? He was so considerate of everything Vidushi wanted, even before their marriage, that it made me almost tearful.
The story touched on the Dharmic aspect of Saptapadi, which is a ritual that requires the newlywed couple to take seven steps together around the sacred fire, during which the marriage is solemnised.
I found each of the 7 promises to be so beautiful and heartwarming, and Vinay was able to fulfil each promise in a unique way.
I am an extremely patriotic person and love my country, and the sense of patriotism that is depicted in all the characters throughout the book made me tremendously happy.
This is one of the best books I have ever read, and this story will stay with me for quite some time.
Like Vinay, I also believe that destiny has a unique way of helping you achieve your dreams if you are really determined to do so.

Review:
If I be honest, I wasn't attracted to the book in the beginning but then I saw the synopsis of a mission of Dharmic tradition capture my attention. And so happy it did finally or I would have missed this good book. And it's a romantic thriller, which you wouldn't believe if you don't read it.

This is a story of Vidushi and Vinay and their exciting, thrilling journey to fulfill Operation Sambhav: A mission inspired from a Dharmic tradition by embracing seven phases or vows, which are part of Indian marriage rituals. And we get to know them with every chapter and every seven parts of India the characters visited to fulfill their mission. But the thing is that Vidushi did not know the whole truth of this mission.

I absolutely like Vidushi's character here, she tough but not over the top, yet has sensitive side to her. Vinay is also good and great character but Vidushi steal the story for me, even though her 'waise' makes me annoying at times.

The book is rich with Hindu culture and traditions. And as the characters visiting seven deferent part of India for fulfilling their mission, the author gives beautiful descriptions of it.

I like the author's writing style and even though the book is quite slow in the beginning, the author gradually built up the tension, the pace as the story progresses.

This is one of a good read with perfect mixture of romance, thriller, actions, cultural references, twists and turns and of course well developed characters to follow. So definitely a book I would love to recommend.
