Felicity Turnbow is a divorced mother of two who has a history of making poor life choices. She mysteriously disappears one night after staying with her boyfriend.
Thomas is hired to find her from an unlikely client; the boyfriend who is considered a suspect in her disappearance.
Before Thomas can even begin the investigation, he is named as a person of interest in an unrelated barroom murder.
During his investigation, Thomas learns of two unsolved murders. Young women who'd been dumped on rural roads.
Is there a serial killer abducting and murdering women? Will Thomas be able to find Felicity before she falls victim to the same fate? Or will Thomas be arrested for murder?
After being honorably discharged as a Sergeant in the United States Army, David Achord found his true calling in law enforcement. His twenty-five year career included stints with the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department and the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. A lifelong Tennessee native, he is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and Cumberland University.
I started reading Achord's Zombie Rules series and became hooked on his writing style. I had to check out the Ironcutter books when I finished the apocalyptic series, and found I liked them just as much or more. A mix of old fashioned, hard boiled detective like Mike Hammer and a modern gumshoe, each book continues to catch my interest from the first page and doesn't let up until the end. This one leaves a lot of unanswered questions and a cliffhanger ending, so we know there's more adventures to come.
Even though this book is about a man, a manly know it all kinda man lol I still enjoyed. I cant wait until bk.6 what will Ironcutter get into this time.......
