Do you know what you get when you mix the resident crazy cat lady with a doomsayer? That's right, you get Pamela Geller. For me, I had a tough time getting through this book while trying to keep a neutral and open mind. My friends come from all faiths and creeds and i've been raised to view everything with an open mindset. That being said, it's very hard (next to impossible) to read this book with an open mind when all you're faced with is complete and utter hatred for the Islamic faith and it's constituents.

I get it. Islamophobia is a multi-million dollar industry. That's all well and good, but Pamlea Geller makes it a point to really stick to her "creeping sharia" tirade. I agree with her that sharia law shouldn't be implemented in the US, but I'm also against any religious law being implemented here too. Let's face it, folks. Sharia will never trump US law (we're not exactly a theocracy and rightly so). US courts have relied on religious "courts" to rule based on religious doctrine for quite a while (Halakha courts anyone?). If any religious ruling violate the constitution, bill of rights, etc., the ruling is thrown out.

This is a book I would recommend to no one, seeing as Pamela Geller is completely okay with Halakha court for American Jews, but decided to write a book about Sharia (all religious doctrine should be banned from courts, IMO).

With this book I have completed reading all of Pamela Gellar’s books. Because I follow Pamela’s website, media interviews, and activism I am not surprised by anything in this book. What the reader will find is incisive, truthful coverage about radical Islam – the greatest existential threat to the so-called Big Satan (America) and the so-called little Satan (Israel) as our two countries are known by Muslims. Pamela shares her experience with all of us so that we do not repeat any mistakes when protesting on behalf of Western values, for example, the other side will often “plant” people with offensive signs in order to misrepresent us in the media, Pamela explains how to handle that and many more situations like it.

Pamela’s books are not recommended for fragile people who are afraid of the truth. She has no incentive to obfuscate the issues as the politicians do. She is a refreshing writer in that her honesty shines forth. Her writing as also entertaining in that she writes likes she speaks employing a lively, animated style which is often laced with intellectual sarcasm. If you have listened to her speak, you will immediately hear her voice come through the page.

I was especially thankful for her information on J Street. Those of us in the Jewish community have long known that J Street is some sort of disingenuous front group but we/I were at a loss to figure out why it is embraces by some Jews despite its anti-Israel posturing. Pamela explains that George Soros provides financial backing for J Street as well as money from Muslim organizations. Thus the books also reads like investigative journalism. I am so very thankful for Pamela Gellar, she brings us the hard truth on so many issues and provides us with strategies for preserving our culture and way of life.

Great information all Americans need to know. I have been in a church service at my Christian church when a young women who left Islam told the story of how her own parents wanted to take her to the old country and kill her. This was not done because she was born in the USA and they could not. She however was one of the lucky ones who escaped a so called "Honor Killing". Sharia law is encroaching on us and our best defense is knowledge.

Also, you'd be wise to check out Ms. Geller's documentation of the Islamist threat. It is irrefutable!

Pamela Geller fought the attempts of muslims to put up a 15-story mosque at Ground Zero in Manhattan. She believes that American acquiescence to such a monument would be seen by Muslims as submission to Islam. She compared it to the Al-Aqsa mosque built on the Jewish Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Al-Aqsa symbolizes, for Muslims, the victory of Islam over Judaism and Christianity. Besides organizing rallies at Ground Zero, Geller also appeared on various television news programs, debating Muslim supporters of the Ground Zero mosque. Dutch politician Geert Wilders has spoken out against Islam, and was put on trial for hate speech. Wilders was eventually acquited of all charges. To promote the separation of church and state, in 2009 the ACLU filed a suit against an Islamic public charter school in Minnesota, claiming that it was using taxpayer funds to establish a religious school. So we rightists should admit that the ACLU is not all bad!
Geller describes the honor killings of Texan teenagers Amina and Sarah Said by their Egyptian father Yaser Abdul Said. This hate crime has not received much attention by the media. Some states have passed laws stating that Islamic law, sharia, is not valid in American courts of law. Pro-sharia organizations, such as CAIR, have objected, claiming that such laws interfere with the religious freedom of Muslims. The American Bar Association is siding with the pro-sharia forces.

A STRONG CRITIQUE OF THE INFLUENCE OF ISLAM AND MUSLIMS IN THIS COUNTRY

Author and conservative activist (and fan of Ayn Rand) Pamela Geller wrote in the Introduction to this 2011 book, “Make no mistake. We are at war. Our mortal enemy has made no secret of its goal and stated aim: ‘eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house,’ and installing a universal caliphate… Why ‘Stop the Islamization of America’? The very name evokes a visceral reaction in people---particularly in those hard-wired for delusion… In reality, and in start contrast to CAIR, Stop Islamization of America [SIOA] is a human rights organization dedicated to the freedom of speech… as well as to the freedom of religion and to individual rights… The violent jihad is the most obvious manifestation of jihad… But the real war on America is also being waged in universities, the public schools, the courtrooms, the Internet. The workplace… and on the airwaves. That is the stealth jihad, the hidden war. And it is to teaching you how to fight that war—where and how and on what grounds---that this book is dedicated.” (Pg. i-ii)

She continues, “[SIOA] is dedicated to stopping that stealth jihad, exposing the Islamic supremacists, and preserving the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, and the equality of rights of all people before the law. We are not against Islam or Muslims as such, but against the political and supremacist character of Islam as enunciated by Muhammad… Muslims are working in the United States now to make sure that Islam dominates by destroying the Constitutional freedoms. How do I know that? Because they’ve told us.” (Pg. iii-iv)

She states, “These [Islamic] mega-mosques are making a supremacist statement. Most people assume they’re just like synagogues or churches. They don’t realize that Islam has political goals that are expressed through the mosques, and that the mosques often symbolize that Muslims are claiming a particular territory as their own. In Europe, the ‘no-go- areas for non-Muslims in France, Sweden, and elsewhere show what these claims lead to.” (Pg. 15)

She observes, “The vast majority of mosques are backed by groups that are linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, the group that is dedicated to ‘eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within.’ Mosques with jihadist, terror ties must be fought fiercely and defeated… The Brotherhood memorandum contains ‘a list of our organizations and the organizations of our friends,’ including the Muslim organizations enumerated above or their parent groups. Usually if the mosque in your area is linked to one or more of these groups, thus is public and easily obtainable information, since despite their Brotherhood connections these groups are still regarded as ‘moderate’ and wholly benign by most law enforcement and government officials.” (Pg. 25-26)

She advises that during a protest, “Do not carry inflammatory signs or allow them to be displayed at your rally. Watch for signs that carry ethnic slurs, or that call for mass-deportation or imprisonment of Muslims… pro-freedom protesters should never let their emotions, frustration, and righteous anger get the better of their common sense.” (Pg. 43-44) Later, she adds, “Don’t use the word ‘hate’---don’t say ‘I hate’ anything because they’ll clip it. You don’t hate, you love. You love freedom, you love America, you love the Constitution, you love the Bill of Rights.” (Pg. 48)

She states, “A big part of the problem facing America today is the obfuscation and disinformation fed to the American people as a daily diet of slow poison. Take, for example, the word ‘extremist.’ It is commonly used to describe both Islamic jihad terrorists and those who fight against them and against Islamization in general… The word is used to claim that Islam had nothing to do with jihad terrorism—it’s all just ‘extremism,’ and every religion has its ‘extremists.’ This requires the media to label non-Muslims as ‘extremists’ also. They brand me and other freedom fighters with this word, so as to imply that we’re beyond the bounds of rational and acceptable discourse.” (Pg. 53)

She points out, “Every single one of us has had war directed against us, and no Muslim counters the edict of bin Laden to kill us. Not one. I must emphasize that no Muslim cleric or association of clerics, no Muslim political leader, not the Muslim Brotherhood, not the OIC, has ever denounced or even disavowed Osama bin Laden’s declaration of war. Never. They’ve issued vaguely worded and loophole-ridden condemnations of 9/11 and or an undefined ‘terrorism,’ but have never denounced bin Laden’s declaration of war.” (Pg. 58)

She asserts, “Muslims are freer in this country than in any other country in the world, and frankly, no one gives a fig what they worship. The problem arose when thousands of Americans were slaughtered in the name of Allah and for the glory of jihad… We need hearings on taxpayer dollars being used to fund Islamic finance… We need hearings on the violation of the separation of mosque and state in the public schools, in the workplace, in the courtroom, and in foreign policy. We need hearings on the violation of the Constitution in regards to Muslims---no longer are equal rights sufficient, now it’s special rights for a very extra special class, Muslims.” (Pg. 66)

She argues, “In reality, ‘Islamophobia’ is nothing more than a term that Islamic supremacists use to enforce what they can of Islamic blasphemy laws in the West: in Islamic law, to defame or insult Muhammed or Islam is blasphemy, and in many Muslim countries it’s punishable by death. There are daily reports of death sentences handed down in Muslim countries for perceived insults to Muhammed or Islam.” (Pg. 74)

She contends, “It think it is important to point out that Islamic supremacism could never have advanced so far and so fast without its alliance with the left. And while it seems counterintuitive on its face that the left could be carrying water for the most extreme and radical ideology on the planet, it is not. The left traditionally aligns itself with the totalitarian ideology of the day, whether it was Stalinism, Communism in other parts of the world… or National Socialism, all of which resulted in the murder of hundreds of millions. The left is all about control… We see the effects of the Islamic/leftist alliance in the advance of cultural jihad initiatives all over the country…” (Pg. 93-94)

She notes, “It is not labeled or advertised as such, but the meat you buy at your local supermarket could be halal… much of the meat in Europe is being processed as halal and ye sold without the halal label. This is not the exception, but the rule. The people are being betrayed by their own elected officials, who should be on top of this… we are being forced into consuming meat slaughtered by means of a barbaric, torturous. Inhuman method: Islamic slaughter, the cutting of the animal’s throat without stunning or any other form of mitigation for the animal’s pain. Where were the PETA clowns and tie ridiculous celebs[?]… They would rather see people die of cancer or AIDS than see animals used in drug testing, but torturous and painful Islamic slaughter is OK… The issue for many Christians is that in halal slaughter, an imam offers the animal up as a sacrifice to Allah, which makes it meat sacrificed to idols.” (Pg. 99-100)

She says, “Many Americans assume that Islamization is not a problem because, they say, Muslims will eventually assimilate into American culture and adopt American values. Yet there are telling indications that many Muslims in America are doing anything but assimilating… Americans need to stop putting all their hopes on the ‘assimilation’ of young Muslims… To keep on doing so is just to play games with the safety of Americans…” (Pg. 149, 151)

She contends, “The idea of a ‘moderate’ Islam does not exist… because the Koran says so and Muhammad says so… Moderate Muslims are secular. There is nothing moderate in Islam, and this is the deception that must be unveiled. It will take an earthquake of catastrophic proportion to ‘reform Islam,’ but it certainly cannot and will not happen if the West continues to appease and surrender in installments.” (Pg. 181)

This book will be of great interest to those seeking critiques of Islam; but the harshness of much of Ms. Geller’s language will offend turn away many others.

There is a lot of misinformation from the media about Islam in America, and unfortunately, it takes time and effort to figure these things put. It's much easier to just accept everything you see on TV and let it go at that. But that's a mistake. Pamela Geller's book is a great resource. There is definitely an organized effort to Islamize America. For example, the Muslim American Society arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, has a stated goal, in their own words, of "eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within." Hello . . . what part of this cannot be understood? Overall, the book is very educational and essential reading for anyone who wants to understand what we are up against.

That said, I don't believe that America is in danger of being Islamized. Try as they might, they will only get so far before it becomes obvious that this is not the kind of country that America will become.

Great in depth research and attention to detail. Describes how radical Islam takes advantage of our laws and constitution against us. It lists and defines a myriad of organizations formed around the US and how they relate to the Muslim Brotherhood. It is disconcerting how pervasive they have become. The author also provides practical steps we can take to counter this invasion. Every American should read this book.
