I listened to this book which was narrated by the author. Madeline Albright has a wonderful voice, and of course, her first hand knowledge contributed and made it even more enjoyable. The book was long but was worth it. I enjoyed learning about her personal life, her history and lineage, and how it shaped her views of the world (to an extent.)The stories about the way the world evolved during her professional tenure were quite interesting. Particularly enjoyed her lengthy discussion about the time at Camp David where/when Yasser Arafat got nearly everything he wanted, but walked away. I found that quite timely. I do not share all of her political opinions, she was an incredibly impressive woman. Her language, poise, intellect, creativity and spunk are definitely to be admired, and she certainly contributed greatly to this country. Wish today’s politicians were a lot more like her.highly recommend

Madeline Albright has a remarkable story. I really enjoyed learning about her career trajectory through her lens. This book stood out to me in particular because of her candidness when discussing the troubles she faced balancing her relationship, children, and burgeoning career. Although the book was a bit dense with details at certain points, overall I really enjoyed this book.

Madeline Albright wrote in her autobiography that we are “embarking now on a future in which machines teach machines, and artificial intelligence, aided by large data sets, is opening new frontiers in communication, transportation, medicine, recreation …”. Many world leaders such as herself agree that computation is infiltrating every sector of society, so it is important to understand it.

I'm sorry I waited so long to read it because it's outdated but I definitely want to read her last book

What an amazing life. January 2001, at the end of Clinton's presidency, she (the first woman to hold the Secretary of State) leaves office. She writes about her life in office and her childhood. What a journey!
