It's hard to tell where the young man's real-life experiences begin, and his exaggerations begin. It is a worthy read for anyone interested in social aspects of humanity that simultaneously transform time and reinforce some notices of subtle changes in law, more common knowledge of topics like sexuality (overall not just same-sex attraction) and what shocks certain audiences.
