I wanted to read this book to see the approach to psalm magick, however then i carried on and read the whole book. The author is very knowledgeable of kabbala and other ancient traditional occultic books. However, applicability of amulets and talismans depend on howmuch hebrew practitioner knows. Because everything in the book is based on old Jewish rituals. The balance between theory and practice is well adjusted by him. Even if the practicioner repeats the hebrew god names in his/her rituals, his/her deepmind wont get it anyway.

It was very nice to have a book on Kabbalistic magic that focuses specifically on the Jewish Kabbalah rather than the Hermetic one. The only criticism I have of it is that it doesn’t really address modernization of ancient rituals. A lot of this could probably be made more realistic to modern people.
