This is an ideal early-child non-fiction text, with fluent and age-appropriate expository text, vibrant and detailed photos, useful back matter, and even a simple index- all to explore the basic concept of colors. It's a great option for using quality literature in reading/content areas without relying on skill/drill or packaged text.

A nonfiction picture book where many colors are associated one by one with fall objects like yellow for school buses and grey for squirrels with a paragraph explaining each. Elementary and up
