Francesca Riley thinks she’s going home for Christmas with a fiancé. Instead, two nights before her trip, she gets dumped over dessert. And the cherry on top of the top of that fruit cake is that the whole thing happens in front of her ex-boyfriend, Cary—the one who got away—and his very intriguing friend. When a blizzard hits DC and snows the three of them in at Cary’s townhouse, one night becomes more. And feelings get involved. When their lust melts the snow enough to go outside, will any of them be able to leave? *Previously published as part of the Reindeer Games Anthology **Sword Cross Guarantee
Unfortunately this didn’t deliver the MMF Christmas romance I was hoping for. Having 3 different POVs, characters with complex backstories, and only 105 pages to tell the story made this novella feel way too rushed and confusing for me. When Francesca runs into Cary, her ex-boyfriend, she decides to spend a night having some smutty fun with him and Lucas, his friend with benefits. After they all get snowed in together deeper feelings start developing between the three of them.
There are definitely some fun, steamy scenes here. But overall I think this story would’ve worked for me if the backstories for the characters were more simple. So much info was dumped into the story without much explanation that it was hard to follow at times. Like, one of the men was a spy and now they’re working together doing who knows what and Cary used to date Francesca but it didn’t work out. I think if this was a full length novel then there would’ve been time to properly explore all that, but in a novella it just all felt jumbled and not properly fleshed out. And there wasn’t enough done to differentiate the voices between the different characters for their POVs in the book. I was constantly getting confused about which perspective I was reading from.
Also, the ending and how soon they’re all professing their love for one another felt so rushed. I can believe Cary and Francesca loving one another since they had previously dated. And also Lucas and Cary since they’ve been friends/friends with benefits for like 15 years. But I did not see enough development to believe that Lucas and Francesca actually loved each other after a couple days.
Thank you Andie J. Christopher for this dazzling and steamy Christmas erotica. A MMF snowed in menage situation. Yes, it's a lot of six, but it also has heart too. I just loved it & will re-read it during the holiday season.
I had no idea what I was getting when I started this read, but merry Christmas to me! The sex scenes were hit and the feelings were real. Chemistry, A for sure. Definitely a holiday read that you need on a cold winter night.
A spicy MMF holiday novella perfect for fans of books like Trick shot by Kayla Grosse. This was okay on audio and a decent Hallmark after dark esque story. I liked it well enough but it's definitely not super memorable for me.
I rounded this up from a 2.5. I really am not the target audience for this, as it is insanely spicy, but I did find it to be surprisingly wholesome for a book that almost had more sex scenes than pages.
I’d been meaning to try Andie J. Christopher’s writing for a while, so when I saw this audiobook at my library, I was excited to finally give it a go. I expected a cozy Christmas romance, something warm and festive—the cover definitely gives off that vibe. But what I got was far from it.
Instead, this turned out to be a bonk fest, a ménage with not a lot of depth, and characters I struggled to care about. I didn’t think much of the female lead—especially her actions and motivations. The two male leads weren’t compelling, and having three POVs only added to the confusion. The audiobook not meeting my expectations is on me. However, I was still hoping for more substance, more fun. What I got instead was repetitive, with drama seemingly added just to force a third-act breakup and a rushed, unsatisfying ending. Keeping my attention on the plot was a struggle, and truthfully, it didn’t seem to matter much.
Sadly, the narration didn’t elevate things. I liked new-to-me narrator Avery Reid’s voice well enough, but I often found myself losing track of who was speaking. The characters’ voices just weren’t distinct enough. And with a story that leaned so heavily on explicit scenes, the dirty talk missed the mark.
For listeners who are just after a lot of steam with only a line or two of plot to distract from it, this offering should more than satisfy. For anyone else, I’d say keep looking. Personally, I’ll seek out a different introduction to this author’s work. This was not the right pick for me.
Okay, the sex in this book was hot but I could do without in involving two men and a woman. I mean I get it. When you've got nothing else boink the person closet to you but geez. It's not a fantascy I entertain. Anyway, the story starts off with Frankie spoting her ex at a restrurant as she's being dumped by her current. She eventually stumbles upon a thruple involving her ex,Cary, and his business partner,Lucas. Both Frankie and Lucas happen to be in love with Cary so they all go back to Cary's for a fullblown screwfest that results in some pretty unrealistic situations. First,I don't know too many women who would enjoy watching the man they love perform oral and have intercourse with another man or at least not as much as Frankie did. Second, there is no way any family worth anything could accept their child being part of this. Three people in a relationship and constantly banging each other. Sorry. No. I mean the erotic parts of the book was great when it was Cary and Frankie,or Lucas and Frankie, but Cary and Lucas? I'll pass. Not a bad read if you can get past the homoerotic parts but just not for me.

Whoa! Very sexy Christmas novella. This is my second read from Andie and I enjoyed this more than the full length romance from her that I read last year. This was really good. I was expecting all smut but there was quite a bit of emotion from the throuple.
Frankie is a badass like most of Andie’s heroines tend to be from what I’ve read and what she talks about in podcasts.
Like most single career-focused women, finding the right guy is nearly impossible. When she hooks up with an ex and his on/off lover during a snowed in Christmas, she realized forever doesn’t have to look traditional.
This novella was perfect after my last disappointing read.
Readers looking for some very, very sexy scenes will not be disappointed!
As a bit of a grinch I'm not really one for holiday stories. But I could get behind more Christmas romances if they were filthy and sweet like this. Andie has been an autobuy author for me since I first read Not The Girl You Marry so when she said this was out in the world I knew I was going to read it. Quick, dirty and still somehow with sweet tender moments this was what I needed for a pick me up this week.
It’s Christmas Eve Eve and Frankie thinks she’s about to be proposed to but gets broken up with instead. Her ex Cary is at the restaurant with his on again-off again lover Lucas and the 3 decide to spend the night together instead. Novella length with more background/story than I was expecting. 😅 Lots of steamy times but I did want more. Lol The 3 get an HEA together though. Some minor editing mistakes if that bothers you as a reader.
This was a short, spicy holiday novella that featured basically non-stop sex. I enjoyed the writing but because there wasn't much that broke up the sex, it all just sounded exhausting. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I was in the mood for and not just trying to get through all of my holiday books.
MMF cute hotness to the rescue to warm up your holidays! The fact that the two MMC were Brits only made me love them more. But if you want more spicy than nice, this story is one for you!
I would happily read all the things Andie writes after this holiday tryst!
Equal parts totally filthy and endearingly sweet, this is a great holiday novella. The characters are richly drawn and vibrant and the sexytimes are hot as heck. If you’re looking for a quick holiday escape, you’ll love this one.
4 stars for story/smut 3 stars for editing - lots of typos, including a couple that took me all the way out of the story as I tried to figure out what it was supposed to say.

Cute hot MMF, but simply riddled with typos. Also, for a book that’s only 100 pages long, there were some oft-repeated introspective moments that could have been wrapped up or moved beyond.
