It was her sisters’ fault, really. Their idea that Evie use studly coffee slinger Caleb Mahoney for sex to get over her ex. It was supposed to be simple. Spell him into wanting her, get down and dirty with him, release all her pent-up sexual energy, and then do a simple forgetful spell. Easy magic for three sister witches. No biggie. Right? Wrong. Every time Evie decides to come clean, well…they do it again. And again! It’s not her fault…at least, she’s pretty sure. Something niggles and itches deep in her brain every time she starts to confess. Is it chemistry or bad magic? Has their simple bang-yourself-happy-again spell gone out of control? Is it amping up automagically? Or is it because the huge, shorn, loveable man—whoda thunk it?—is really good in bed? And the van…and the shower…and the… You get the picture.
What do you get when you take a sexy coffee-house worker, a heartbroken witch, some hidden secrets, and a lust spell or two and shake until well combined? Deliciously sexy fun in the form of Automagically!
Evie and her two sisters are witches, though they usually don't conjure spells on a whim, especially to get themselves something. But when Evie's cheating ex-boyfriend (almost fiancée) takes off with the neighborhood babysitter, leaving Evie's heart a mess and making her curse the male gender for months, Annie and Lanie decide it's time for a bit of magic...
Their plan is to use a lust spell on a guy, making him fall for Evie, then she will break up with him and break his heart before erasing his memory of the ordeal. To Evie, this sounds tempting...but her conscious won't let her do it when the two sisters pick out her target: hunky Caleb, who works at her favorite coffee shop in town.
Evie's been (sort of) friends with Caleb for years; she knows him too well and has secretly lusted after him from the very beginning. He's more than just a man with a perfect body though. He's sweet and caring, funny and hardworking. She doesn't want to hurt him, and she definitely doesn't feel right about forcing him to like her (and bed her).
But while her mind says no, her body says yes, and when he shows up at her house that night to return her coin purse, she has to hold herself back from jumping him at the door. Against her better judgment, she finds herself casting spell number one on him, and he promptly starts taking off his clothes in her front hall! The plan is working perfectly--so why does she feel uneasy about doing this? As the clothes come off and the heat rises, clear thinking becomes a bit...impossible. But instead of some post-sex snuggling later, she's ready to come clean to Caleb and apologize. However, right when she's about to do so, she gets this feeling in her head, and then all she can think about again is Caleb--and his unclothed body.
"I. Am. Done. With. Men." When Evie's ex-boyfriend ran off with the babysitter from next door, she is ready to turn all men into jackasses... until Caleb Mahoney walks into the coffee shop where Evie and her sisters Annie and Lanie were talking. Then things take on a whole new outlook. How hard can it be and what harm could a little lust spell cause for a powerful witch like Evie?
Okay, so that may be a loaded question. By the end of the first chapter I was rolling in the floor laughing as I watched Evie toy with Caleb, or was Caleb toying with Evie? With a weird itchy thing going on every time she and Caleb came together and her zapping him with lust spells, it made for some high spirited and entertaining reading.
I must say I am not a fan of cold weather and there is no way I would want to bare my backside for a quickie in the back of a cold van with any man, but hey, that is the beauty of an author who has a wild imagination and a great sense of humor. When she added in two crazy sisters and a Taser then I could not stop laughing at the sparks flying. Even though the sex scenes were not super detailed, they still had a certain sweetness to them that made the story worth reading.
The story was a fabulous romantic comedy so I couldn’t help laughing out loud more than once. They say that laughter helps to relieves stress and I think it may be true as I sure felt light and stress free when I was finished with this tale. Definitely unique and humorous, and was worth every arched eyebrow my hubby sent my way while reading.

Automagically made me wish that I knew how to cast spells on men.
Evie is ready to get over her ex, and what better way then to listen to her sisters and put a spell on a man. Have sex with a man and then put a spell on him to make him forget. Let’s just hope that it doesn’t back fire.
Caleb works in a coffee shop and wants to a baker. He makes coffee that is so good that it almost gives you an orgasm. I can honestly say that I don’t like coffee. Now give me chocolate and you’ve got a deal.
Evie has always thought that Caleb was sexy and had feelings for him. So Evie listens to her sisters and puts a spell on him. She keeps telling herself that after she has him for sex she will erase his memory.
Seems that we should never tempt fate. She gets sex and so much more. She keeps trying to tell him the truth but every time that they are together something strange happens. Her brain starts tingling and clothes start coming off.
I loved this book and I wish I could put spells on people. To be able to take someone’s memory and keep having a do over. I enjoyed the relationship that all three sisters have and seeing how they take care of each other. When Evie’s sisters think that maybe something else is going on they are there to fight by any means necessary.
This book made me laugh. Especially what they do to protect their sister. When they find out that Caleb is a MOP. If you want to know what that is you need to read the book. I’m not going to give away any secrets.
Just like in real life, be careful what you wish for because you just might get something else instead. So how do you know when you put a spell on them that it’s their true feelings or is it automagically?
This was a delightfully fun, spicy romp. Very playful, very sexy. Who can hate a contemporary witch who, post-breakup, uses a simple "bang-yourself-happy-again spell" on a new hot guy? Especially when her sisters made her do it, really. And she doesn't mean to hurt the guy's heart, just get in a mutually satisfying sexcapade (or several) and then wipe it out of his memory. No harm, no foul, right?
I liked Evie, the heroine, and like her, totally lusted after Caleb, the hero. Lots of humor, sprinkled in - which to my way of thinking, makes every story that much better. Not a fan of the cover - I pictured both Caleb and Evie very different. And being a novella - I wanted MORE.
Sommer did it once again (no surprise)!! I did not put this down until I was done with it. A very Witty, HOTT and a fun read. She never seizes to amaze me!
