This was an older book that reviews the history of the Niagara River and thus the history of the settlement of the area around it. The struggles among Indian Nations and then those between the French and English and finally the battles of the colonists in their revolution against Great Britain. I read this prior to our visit to Niagara Falls which gave our visit to the falls a bit more depth.
