This book also was read by me after watching the film based on this.

The inner point of the book is very unique and it was narrated very smartly. The story progresses very interestingly and the twists in the middle will give a thrill. It was one of its kind book.

ಯಂಡಮೂರಿ ಅವರ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಪತ್ತೇದಾರಿ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ. ಓದುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದಂತೆ ಕಾಲುತುದಿ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತು ಓದುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರುತ್ತೆ ಇವರ ಕಾದಂಬರಿಗಳು. ಇದು ಕೂಡ ಹೀಗೆ, article 302 ರದ್ದು ಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು ಅಂತ ಹಟ ಹಿಡಿದು ಹೊರಟ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕ್ರಿಮಿನಲ್ ವಕೀಲನನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಅನುಭವ ವಕೀಲ ಹೇಗೆ ತನ್ನ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ಕಥೆ.
ಈ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ಓದುವಾಗ ನಮಗೂ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಉದ್ಭವಿಸುವಿದುಂಟು - ಈ article 302 ಭಾರತ ಸಂವಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಕಾ? ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಒಂದು ಕೊಲೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಏರಿಸುವುದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸರಿ ಎಷ್ಟು ತಪ್ಪು? ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ, ಮರಣದಂಡನೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಟ್ಟಿರುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ನಿಜವಾದ ಅಪರಾಧಿಯೋ ಅಥವಾ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಸೃಷ್ಠಿಗಳಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತನಾಗಿರುವ ಅಮಾಯಕನೋ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿವುದು ಕಷ್ಟ. ಹೀಗಿರುವಾಗ ಅಕಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಅವನು ಅಮಾಯಕನಾದರೆ ಅವನು ಮರಣದಂಡನೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾದಾಗ ಅದರ ಪಾಪ ಬಡಿಯುವುದು ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿಗೋ ಅಥವಾ ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದವರಿಗೋ?

While starting the book,I was under the assumption that this writer's novels sound more like commercial movie scripts.The whole second chapter,my brain was screaming 'too filmy'.The intense part starts after that.I personally enjoyed reading the second half of the book.It was interesting to read how one can turn the evidences in a situation to his advantage.I was butt-hurt that I couldn't guess the antagonist :D Can't say it's a light read but one can complete it in a day.

Original book is Abhilasha, this book has become famous movie also.
Story is similar to The Man Who Dared 1946 movie.

However, the plot in the book is awesome, I enjoyed the book, completed in one day!..

I recalled old(1973) Kannada movie Bidugade.

A must read book for those who likes thrills.
