This book is certainly one of a kind and while it has some elements that are dated, there is much truth within this guide-to-men crash course. Sometimes the truth is the truth whether you like it or not and this author definitely tells it like it is! I feel like whoever I date next I may refer to some of the key points of this book even just to try to categorize them. The only thing is I was a mix of all the women you could be so I’m not sure which man I’m supposed to try to capture as the author suggests. Only time will tell I suppose.

I only read this book as a joke but almost against my will enjoyed the sarcastic writing style that was subtly hilarious. This whole book is not how to please men, but how to capture them for a woman’s gain. I appreciated this book so much. This book paints men as shallow in the funniest and most accurate of ways. Be warned: if you do not read this book in an ironic way you will not enjoy it.

I got a kick out of this. Picked it up at Booklegger today and read it in 30 mins or so. I giggled consistently the whole way through. Easy, entertaining, and definitely worth the buck or two. Definitely not meant to take seriously, but meant to be seriously funny. Would recommend.

This book is really funny. You cannot take it seriously but I think about the truths in it often. It's a fun read when you have some time. Not very long. Certainly don't need to "tame" my husband but the book is entertaining regarding southern stereotypes.

Being a Southern Belle 'Scarlet' myself I
Found this book funny and often dead-on.
