If you have read anything about narcissism I suggest you also read this. Very different from much of what’s been published in the past twenty years. If you haven’t read about narcissism this is a good start.

This book also contains practical help for adult children of emotionally immature / destructive parents. These parents by definition did not model appropriate relational behavior. Practices for the self as well as practices to help you relate to others and maintain relationships are included in this book.
