Club Mafia #5

Die Bestie

Rate this book

I am disappointed this book has more than whatever was written . Everything is flat and predictable. Winter lost her memory easily she accepted everything without question or hard battle although she talked about freedom being able to choose and being punished her downfall. Suddenly she remembered her son then we paved for the New book . Not giving anyone a chance to express their grief and pain . One thing keep talking about strong heroines but they have their moments when they fall a parts. No way they give them this right as if they are invincible .Alessandro deseves more all his lines about having her back nothing more (sex) nothing else. I mean his fight with his family his struggle with her memory loss those two battles deserve strong scenes. I didn't get how can someone who suffered trauma will easily accept everything around him /her so quickly even having sex with stranger . Talking about club mafia several times and she didn't visit or tried honestly to remember even glimpse of her past with her family or friends nothing. All I get repeated words strong woman that is all. I have to skip some pages because it is boring .This book is not what expected

Winter and Alessandro.

It’s fierce, tense, aggressive, and perfect.

Unbelievable

Nothing made sense after Winter supposedly developed amnesia after striking her head on the edge of a table. Started skimming and the return of her first flash of memory left me speechless. Totally illogical.

It was kind of a letdown.

Throughout the series so far there were some typos, but then you also have odd errors.
Like the author writing that Winter and Angelo shared an embryo. Fraternal twins aren’t from the same embryo, and Winter and Angelo are clearly not identical.
Columbian vs. Colombian. It always irritates me when authors mean the country but use the wrong spelling. Columbian does not describe the country of Colombia - it would be Colombian.

As for the story itself…I was excited to finally read about Alessandro and Winter being together again, but this story was unfinished and such a disappointment.
Taking down Massimo finally happens and it all they had to do was pay his own men off I don’t understand why they had to wait for freaking long because it came down to them just ensuring Massimo couldn’t retaliate because all his men were paid off and they willingly went against him because they hate him. So these uber rich mafia guys couldn’t have just gotten that money to do this faster? It made absolutely no sense. I expected a more complicated and very involved take down using all the new connections, none of that actually happened. And with him immobilized or shot, he wouldn’t have been able to do anything so blowing up his businesses and what not just seemed so extra and stupid.

Then the way Massimo was taken down. Winter injects him with his paralytic that resembles a stroke but causes the person to be stuck in their head without the ability to move or speak. Ok fine, that works, but to have him fall back onto Winter who then hits her head and that causes her amnesia. What a horrid cliche!! She’s finally rescued only to hit her head and of course, lose her memory so no one knows about Frankie. wtf!

And the memories start coming back in weird bits and it just seemed so dumb. She doesn’t remember how Massimo treated her but she can remember precisely the conversation they had about marriage word for word so she knows she isn’t married and he never forced her into sex. Can’t remember anything else about how she was treated by him but knows sex wasn’t on the table. Uh huh. Suuureee. So stupid. And then she randomly remembers her son after hearing Charlotte say something. Only to discover her brother couldn’t get into Massimo’s house so he blew it up/burned it down. So dumb. And lame.

And the story ends with Malik is sent to hunt down the woman who is believed to have stolen Frankie before the house blew up. wtf! If no one could get in or out of that room how the fuck did this random chick do it? Was she the nanny who was granted access, and if so why didn’t she help Winter escape with Frankie earlier. It’s all just really lame and so disappointing.
Nothing is quite resolved for Winter and Alessandro either as they aren’t engaged or getting married. Alessandro’s grandfather is against them and Frankie is out there somewhere. Such rubbish. But I’m going to see if can finish this by reading/skimming The Demon next. Assuming I also get it for free.
One positive, I paid for none of these books. Good thing too.

omg...I got to the last page and said "NOOOOOO". I will wait for the next installment "The Demon". "The Beast" is an exciting love story that covers an Italian Mafia Heir, Alessandro and the object of his heart's desire Winter. It amazes me how a character like Alessandro can be vicious, hateful and angry. And at the same time, when it comes to Winter, he is gentle, loving, passionate and / or rough and ready to rumble showing how much he loves her. She is his match in every way. This story picks up where Alessandro gives up his dream of Hollywood just for the off chance of being reunited with Winter. There is plenty of action and drama to entertain the hardest of mafia trope fans. Now that Winter has lost her memories, the guys of Club Mafia are in no hurry to rush her. Eventually and slowly, she starts to remember little things. However, there is a pressing urgency to remember something vitally important. This series just keeps getting better and better and I cannot wait for the conclusion. A MUST READ. You will not be disappointed.

I received an advance review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is a dark mafia romance and the continuing story of the Club Mafia series. It is best if you have read the previous stories to get the development of the characters. Club Mafia fans this is the book you have been waiting for; and believe me it is the best book yet in the series. This is Alessandro (the Beast) and Winter’s story. I was torn between compulsion of wanting to read it quickly to get to the answers and reading it slowly to savour each and every plot line and twist. This story has a abundance of emotions from tender moments, passion, anger, fear, loyalty and love. There is so much love in this book for Winter, from the passionate love of Alessandro to the brotherly love of Angelo and the love of the rest of the club mafia men and women. The story also includes anger, revenge, retribution, heart pounding scenes, and shocking events. I could not put this book down and read it in one sitting! This is absolutely more than a 5 star book! I am so looking forward to the conclusion of this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wow!! The Beast, Stella has done us proud again. the whole Mafia Club series has been amazing and as it gets nearer the end, more nail biting as the stories of these men and their women unfold. An heir to a Mafia kingdom against his will Alexandro gives up the freedom given to him by his Grandfather to follow his dream career. He come's back back into the "family" to rescue the sister of his best friend, the only woman he has ever loved, from an arranged marriage to a monster. The Beast.A rollercoaster of Love, Hate, Loyalty,Legacy and Memories Lost this story will tear your heart and soul apart. I can't wait for the next book where hopefully the puzzle pieces will finally all fall into place.

The Beast...

Club Mafia. Beautifully and brilliantly crafted. Cover to cover yummy goodness for the book soul, I had to read it twice. Oh yeah that awesome. No spoilers from me. I've waited for this book and it deserves more than 5 stars. I fell in love with the Beast aka Alessandro, all alpha growly and smexy, from the first book. Winter is that chick you want for your BFF cause she is loyal, loveable and fearless. The battles, dramatic twists and turns with plenty of WTF angst. The love, dedication, and loyalty. So passionate and oh so tingle worthy. Loved seeing the crew from the other books. Levels of depth in all the characters even the bad guys. I loved every moment of this book.

Intriguing

Another great read in this series, this one is about the Beast Alessandro, five friends all from Mafiosa type families met at college and made a pact the sister of one of their members was kidnapped by a powerful Mafia King. Each of them vowed to bring the man down and get Winter back each had their own part to play. Alessandro had more reason than the rest as he was in love with Winter. They eventually have a plan and Winter is rescued but nothing is straight forward and much is revealed. We are left with an intense story to be resolved and Malik is on the case he is known as the demon and lives true to his name. Can't wait for the next book.

Another gripping story in this series. As Club Mafia try to bring down the evil Massimo and so free Winter from his clutches there is an extra twist when their plan goes awry. As the members of Club Mafia try to help along with their wives, Alessandro locks horns with his grandfather who is trying to force him into an arranged marriage. The conclusion sees the Demon, Malik working out a way to finally make the Club Mafia contract a reality. Really looking forward to his story.

5 down and counting

Yes I admit it....I actually cried. Winter and Alessandro finally together in more ways than one tbh. All members of Club Mafia helped get this far and although it was traumatic to see her barriers fall and memories return, there is one final piece of the puzzle left to find and that is Frankie. Come on Malik we're all relying on you, and we know you can do it, probably though in the darkest of ways.
Can't wait for the end of November when I can devour it. Until then I'll catch up with the mysterious Baron.

In the attempt to rescue Winter, Massimo has arranged to take her out to diner with a friend of his. On the way to the dinner he smacks her around and she’s stunned by his reaction. When they arrive he sees Alessandro’s father there. Massimo is furious. Then in walks his daughter with Ivan. He thinks it’s his deceased wife. He goes crazy. Orders his men to kill them but they don’t respond. Then Winter pulls out the syringe he was going to use and stabs him
Winter is kicked to the floor and winds up in a coma
Awesome book

The Beast
Loving the Club Mafia books, especially as we are getting towards the contracts conclusion.
Really love the way Stella writes the characters especially the boys. They have all maintained their friendship from Rockwell and it was great to see them all reunited here.
Loving the plot twists in this book and how Stella describes Allesandro’s grandparents. You can see his Nonno in your mind clearly as the cunning Mafia don who makes deals and expects the family to just fall in line and obey.
The idea of a “Club Mafia” wives club made me smile, it is so good to see them all getting on like sisters and supporting each other.
Malik is the only one without a significant other now, love how this book sets us up for his story next and uncover more of Massimos nefarious dealings.
Another fantastic read from Stella, can’t wait for the conclusion of this story in Maliki book, such a fantastic storyline from Stella.

some parts are skimmed but good book overall

The story itself is great but I do find myself skipping over a lot of the dialogue as it seems repetitive. I’m wondering whose proof reading these books since there are silly mistakes at random intervals. Overall though I’m a fan of the world that the author has created. It’s about time winter got rescued. Massimo is deranged and it was nice peeking into his demented thoughts.

I enjoyed this book. The story and characters were dark and intense. Alessandro and Winter made a captivating couple that kept me consumed with their story. Raw emotions, sharp grittiness, intense drama, taut tension, sweetness, steam and stunning twists make a potent and powerful blend that grabbed me and did not let go until that last page was turned. This is my unbiased, unsolicited review.

Love. Love. Loved it. I was so excited to read about The Beast finally getting his day. Winter was brilliant and I was so proud of her for realizing to capitalize on her enemy letting his guard down. Massimo got the perfect ending. I cannot wait for Malik to find his light in his darkness.

BRILLIANT

Well The Beast was really good, I think it's my favourite so far to see Winter and Alessandro back together again, full of heat, angst, twists and turns can't wait for them to find Frankie and to finally read the end of the devil Massimo, even I want him to suffer a terribly slow death! Great series, love it, love it, love it!!! 😍😍😍😍😍

Club Mafia - Beast

I will admit, I was worried about reading this installment of the Club Mafia collection. Thankfully it turned out to be just as good as the preceding installments without the torture and terror I expected to occur once Winter is recovered. The members of Club Mafia are tender and loving with their women and it makes Winter’s reunion even sweeter. Enjoy.

Home at last

All the pieces fell d into place but not like they had planned. Winter took it upon herself to end her nightmare. And that again didn't go as planned. He is not dead but just like it. Winter hit her head and forgot everything. But little by little everything will work out for them

Step 4 of the plan.

Alessandro and Winter's much anticipated twisted, passionate story includes an even more in depth look into Massimo's despicable, cruel, psychotic lifestyle. Mafia war is brewing and power plays are volleyed back and forth. This book is 230 pages, so it's a fast, suspenseful read.

a page turner

So much has happened in this book it would be a crime to even detail all my favourite parts. I am so looking forward to the next installment to continue one this heart, wrenching nail, biting edge of the seat series with all that dark, mysterious, twisting paths in the shadows story that gives you so much.

I am so caught up in this series Ms Stella, this couldn't get any better. I am binging the series and after Malik's book I know I will have a book hangover. So worth it. Alessandro and Winters story is complex but so good. The Mafia Club is a force to be reckoned with.

Winters Kampf

Alessandro may get his wish.

Alessandro has only ever wanted to free the love of his life, Winter, from the madman that took her. Will Club Mafia come through for him when its needed? Will Winter be the same woman he remembers and loves? There are still so many questions. I am loving this series!!!

I enjoy this series and I couldn’t wait for Winters story, but I was disappointed. I hate amnesia tropes and the h has amnesia in this book. Winter is rescued and it ends with Malik going to find her and Alessandro’s baby.
